My first experience at this establishment was fantastic! The price was very reasonable and I was very pleasantly surprised when the groomer called to ask me my preference with regard to a grooming issue, rather than just doing what he pleased. All the staff I encountered were extremely friendly and accommodating. When I picked my dog up I was even given a handmade Christmas ornament with clippings from my dogs grooming session inside. They do a great job grooming my grumpus of a dog, who for some reason, behaves very well for them. I have to say, that says a lot because my awesome pup won't even let us touch his feet without trying to bite us. They cut his hair exactly the way we ask and I have never had an issue. read more

I was able to get an appt on short notice for my Shiba Inu who was clumping (shedding) like crazy. I've never been to a groomer (always have done things on my own) so I was a little nervous. I loved that when I walked in I could see the groomer with the other dog and how she interacted with the pup and vice versa. I have to say they did a WONDERFUL job. When I picked her up she was clumpless, nails were trimmed, she was completely dry (not damp) she looked beautiful and smelt wonderful! The groomer was so sweet and didn't take long (about an hour). She called as soon as she was done with Dakoda and gave me an update on how she did! When I got there Dakoda was very happy didn't seem to be scared or stressed. (she's normally very shy with other people) I look forward to bringing my pup there again! I highly recommend! read more

Love this place!! Lisa and her team are awesome! My smelly dogs always are soft and sweet smelling when they are done! They stay good smelling and soft for almost 3 weeks, which is great compared to other places we have been. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. We have never had any issues. The other dogs I have seen that are waiting to be picked up look just wonderful! We are now going to get on a regular schedule with them for our two nutty mutts. So glad they are here! I brought my 3 yr old German Shepherd Otis there and all the ladies fell in love with him! As is usually the case he steals all the attention. I think Val was the one who mainly took care of his shampooing but the whole team effort they have going on there seems to be very efficient. One of the staff mentioned she has 2 Shepherds and 1 is over 100lbs so I knew my guy would be in excellent hands. I love that they all seem to be the same level of animal lover as me. Most importantly he came out looking and smelling the best I've seen him in a long time! Much better than Petsmart across the street where I've taken him at least twice. The Chicago Blackhawks bandana was a nice touch. I can't wait to bring him back in 2 months! read more

We have been getting our 2 German shepherds groomed every other month by the same groomer for the last 3 years. Our groomer cancelled our standing appointment and we needed a grooming quick as both dogs were shedding. My wife found the grooming lodge with Lisa and Valerie ready to assist though they were not in the office! My wife brought in the dogs and requested a deep washing with the furminator shampoo nails cut and ears cleaned. The result was unbelievable! Both dogs were completely dry when picked up!!! A first for us as they were normally a bit damp!! One week later the dogs are still not shedding though I brush them daily! As a responsible dog owner we take care of our dogs and we now found groomers that are trained so very well that they exceeded our expectations. We are paying a bit more but it is well worth it! *Update* Long overdue. ..Late Post. Since the new owners took over, I've only brought my dog there twice. The second time, they changed the people(turnover rates are expected) who CoCo was accustomed to so of course, it's natural for anyone-humans and animals- to remain comfortable in that type setting. So they informed me that I need to be present so she would let them near her nails to do the trimming. Although I do understand the reason behind this, I do not understand as a pet place, they would not know how to make her feel safe and comfortable w/o me. Not trying to sound snooty, but if I did have time to do such, I wouldn't be paying a groomer to do it for me. Days, Weeks, and Months have passed, and I question why they haven't reached out to their clients(CoCo&Me) to remind us that it's been awhile since her last appt(like doctors do for their patients), or even wonder what happened to their "client"?!...... read more

This place is awesome. My insanely furry 120 pound golden/Irish wolfhound mix only took them 1 hour and 45 minutes to groom, plus he got a cute bandana/bowtie creation to wear home. The interior design is so cute and all of the people working were fun and nice. My dog left happy and looking good. I'm done!! They do a good job of grooming my dogs, however they lack common business and communication skills. First time, told Lisa my dog will bite through leash if unattended, he did just that... No reimbursement for leash. Second strike ( twice) left cotton in dogs ears, told her about it , and it happened again!!! Third strike, had appointment for 3:00. Called at 2:00 to see if they are running on time. Called me back at 2:10 stating they are running an hour behind!! She was not planning to call me , no respect for my time. Said to bring at 4:00. I decided not to go I was done. She didn't even call to see if everything was ok , as I have always been early or on time. Lacking basic business skills. read more
