Ordered online for pick-up and it was super speedy. Even the small platter is plentiful. You can choose up to 2 proteins and the sides you would like. Some sides cost extra such as hummus, baba ghanoush, falafel, and extra pita. The pita was a bit too crisp, but the rest of my platter was great - plenty of hummus, chicken, and beef gyro atop rice with tomatoes and olives as sides. Utensils as well as a packet of their white sauce and hot sauce are provided.

I finally made my way to the Aurora location for Halal Guys. I've had it in Korea and it was quite good. I ordered the small plate and it comes with a lot of food. I had the beef gyro platter with rice, veggies, and hummus, and falafel. Honestly, the best part is the white sauce. The white sauce just adds a nice extra oomph to your tastebuds. The pita bread was quite good. At the same time, I also ordered the bbq pita bread to see what the difference is like. I didn't taste any difference between the two - it's so minimal that you can't really tell so just stick with the normal pita bread.

Ordered Halal from DoorDash & NEEDED to come here & tell you all how good it is. I've ordered to go, ordered from an app & been in to dine in & the food consistency is incredibly hard to beat. I normally get the chicken plate & it hits the spot every time. The dressing is SO good & the hot sauce goes crazy (but can get very intense quick, so be careful not to drench your food in it until you're committed.) The service was great when I went in & the staff is always kind & easy to talk to. I can't wait to go back! I'm already craving more.

We stopped by for a quick delicious late lunch meal. The Combo Chicken & Beef platter was loaded! I couldn't finish the regular sized I ordered. Or you want yours in sandwich form? Do it! There are both equally tasty! Easy to order. You'll see when you get there. If you've been to NYC then most likely you've seen their cart or tried their dishes! The Halal Guys is a halal fast casual restaurant franchise that began as halal carts on the southeast and southwest corners of 53rd Street and Sixth Avenue in Manhattan, New York City. What is Halal? Halal diets set strict guidelines regarding how livestock is raised, slaughtered, and prepared prior to consumption.

This place is great! Casual ambiance and very friendly and knowledgeable staff. I have been meaning to stop by here for several months and finally did at the recommendation of several coworkers who eat here regularly. I was very impressed. I have not had a lot of Middle Eastern cuisine but this is some of the best I've had. You can tell that everything is very fresh and made with high quality ingredients. Simple yet delicious flavors all blended together. I got the beef gyro bowl with white sauce. The regular size made enough for two meals for me but I ate it cold the next day and it was just as good. The pita slices seemed a bit stale and were just alright. The baklava chocolate cheesecake is to die for! Not overly sweet with just the right amount of chocolate flavor with crunchy pecans on top. I will absolutely be back - especially since I work right down the street. Pricing is alright. I paid just under $20 for the bowl, a piece of cheesecake and no drink.

Another amazing recommendation for the day!!!! First time visiting this fabulous restaurant and will definitely be back. We had a Regular Beef Gyro Platter & Regular Signature Spicy Chicken Platter. A 4 Piece Falafel Order with a side of dipping sauce and a Baklava to go. For our platters we took the recommendation of employee and we were not disappointed. He laced it with 3 different sauces. Be careful with the hot sauce, it's pretty hot. If you don't like hot sauce I would not recommend it. We ended our meal with an outstanding Baklava. It was very tasty and a good way to end a fabulous meal. The customer service was exceptional. Restaurant is very clean and up to date.

Walked in noticed how everyone was really busy getting prepared for a lunch rush. However we were greeted quickly and the menu was explained to the both of us as we went down the line of choosing toppings and sauces and a protein. I am so glad I got a combo bowl because I was not a fan of the chicken. It was very bland in taste along with the rice. But whatever the seasoning is on the beef brought that whole other half of my bowl to life. Their white sauce was absolutely amazingggg. I asked for a small side of it so I could dip my fries in it - drool worthy! My husband got a chicken bowl and was happy he got the red sauce because it gave the chicken a slight touch of taste but not much. I'm giving it 4 stars only because the rice and chicken were lacking a splash of taste. Hopefully as time goes on and the workers have been there longer, they get a smoother transition into making it how the food truck is in NY!

The standout dish was the lamb couscous: perfectly tender, slow-cooked lamb that practically melts in your mouth, layered over fluffy, fragrant couscous. The vegetables absorbed the rich spiced broth without losing their texture. Also very generous portions. The babaganush, harrira (soup), and bastille were pretty good, and I would come back and get them aging. The falafel was over fried and dry. The combo platter rice was good, but meat was bland. And I'm so sad the dessert baklava was not that great. Smuttered in chocolate, the nuts and honey classic flavor could not be tasted. They have a few other dishes in curious to come back to try. But... service! Well. Waitress was very friendly, definitely good vibes. But after 1st water, never refilled glasses; and plates stacked up. I had to ask (more than once) to clear then to make space for next one. And restaurant was not busy. So service-wise, but great. Food, since really good, some just meh. I'm 50/50 on coming back.

This venue, as such, reminds me of "East West Grill - Arlington," near Clarendon, in Arlington, VA, just outside Washington, D.C., which my Pakistani-American BFF showed me, over 20+ years ago, around 2005, when we met, and where I took my Sierra Leone-American BFF in 2018, given she's also Halal. The customer service was exquisite, and Aqeel made our experience so hospitable! He told me they do not accept reservations, however to call ahead 15-minutes in advance, and later 5-minutes in advance. He ensured we had a table all set-up for our group of 6 women, and was so very attentive with us, ensuring we had everything we needed, while ordering. In my case, I ordered one of the fresh juices - Lemon with Mint - after seeing nearly every delivery order ordering it, and it was superbly delicious! Then I tried the Cucumber & Yogurt, of course, a favorite. I skipped the dolmas, as I was filling up fast! :-) And I ordered their signature dish: "26. Lamb Haneeth حنيذ لحم," which was superb! The lamb was so very tender, juicy, and a delicious taste, and I'm thrilled to have an ample amount remaining, for my lunch tomorrow! Highly recommend!

I did wish there was something to break up all of the grittiness. The flatbread that it was served on was pillowy soft, an amazing to bite into. I think I could give them another chance. I just think ultimately the Syrian pizza was not for me.

The presentation was gorgeous with the puree spread out beautifully on a large dish, topped with olives, paprika, parsley, and a very generous dollop of delicious olive oil. An outstanding version of this dish. We received a large plate of very fresh pita triangles to go with the baba ganoush. These were great. We definitely used them to scrape every speck of eggplant off that platter! We both ordered the Gyro Plate. The gyro meat was very authentic, extremely tender, and very flavorful.
