Very rude managers on the field. We asked them to make falafel and they told that first pay the bill then only we will sever. They were treating very different, I don't know what was the reason. I am so pissed off with service that I given at this location. I sincerely advise everyone to not visit this location. I am lover of Halal guys, I have travelled various state and had amazing Halal experience but this experience has changed my thought. I don't understand who has made them managers even. Ok, I am planning on going back again to try their plates out... but for now they get 3 stars. I will say that my husband being from the Middle East and having lived there for many years, we are a bit more picky when it comes to Middle Eastern and Mediterranean food. We tried the chicken sandwich and the meat gyro sandwich. The chicken wasn't very good-- lacked flavor and was kind of chewy. The meat was good. Falafel were good and the hummus was decent. My husband complained that they should make chicken shawarma instead of the chewy chunks of chicken. We will try them again because it's nice to have halal food... we don't normally eat meat because we can't find many halal places. read more

Unfortunately I cannot understand the hype. I don't normally leave unfavorable reviews but I was really disappointed :( I found it to be quite bland. The pita was okay. The sauce is also something I was hoping to be more of a tzatziki sauce.. they call it "the white sauce", it was similar to mayonnaise. The felafel was hard. Let me start by saying I had the Halal Guys at NYC a week before visiting this franchise. I was soooo happy to find that they are now in Denver!!! We ordered the four combo platters - beef gyro and chicken, and the beef gyro and lamb. Taste and presentation is the same as NYC. Few things that this particular location can improve on: 1. ratio of lettuce and ratio. I got like 3 cups of lettuce and a cup of rice and a dash of diced tomatoes. I would prefer a proportionate, if not bigger portion, of rice. 2. Food is cold. I get that it is not freshly cooked but rather is kept in the warmer. My expectation is not high; food should AT LEAST be warm in the warmer, right? 3. Service.In NYC, there are only two staff members in the location. Here in Denver, there's like three in the counter and three cooking. I am not complaining that there are too many staff for such a tiny place. I am complaining, however, that my food is cold. There are very few people in the restaurant. If they are not yet seeing that much traffic, then don't cook too much food ahead of time. I want to give less stars, honestly. But I do want this location to thrive in the Colorado market. I am giving one star as we need more cuisine diversity and I believe this location can improve. read more

This place is so good! The menu is small and simple which makes decisions easy. If I could buy a gallon of the red sauce, I would. I get the Falafel platter, no rice and extra lettuce and it's perfect for lunch. I will most definitely be adding it to my weekly rotation. Not sure I will ever visit what was once a great place to eat! The Gyro was awful! Cold thick pita bread, very little chopped meat, a lot of lettuce and a sprinkle of tomatoes was disappointing. And only to be insulted with a pre-package version of white sauce that I couldn't tell what its intent was for - creamy mayo or watered taziki - who knows!? To this insult, the order of crinkle fries were under cook and soggy...how do you screw up fries? Gotten delivery and picked up from here - both times the food was hot, fresh, and super tasty! It's easy to find off of I-225 there's plenty of parking as well. The service is fantastic and super fast as well. Everyone wore masks and food handling was careful by all of the staff. I always get the combo platter with both gyro meat and chicken. Both meats were well seasoned and not dry and the rice was fluffy and full of flavor. Vegetables were crisp and fresh - the iceberg lettuce does wilt fast so eat it quickly! This Halal Guys definitely stacks up to other locations in the franchise I've been to in Texas and NYC. So glad they're finally in Colorado! I visited a couple days ago and was not disappointed. The staff was friendly, attentive and efficient. The food was AMAZING!!!!! The have great menu options, but we stuck old school and got chicken over rice with a ton of white sauce. The space was great to dine in and I felt very comfortable. As a native New Yorker who frequented the 53rd and 6th carts and their actual locations in the village, I am very happy they opened up a location here! We went twice and the first time the line was about 60 people deep and we didn't want to wait. 2nd time they ran out of food and gave us vouchers for a free platter. 3rd time we finally got it and it satisfied our craving although it is still not as good as the halal guys back home. I recently moved from DC where we had a Halal Guys and I was THRILLED to see one come to Colorado. I made the drive from Denver during rush hour just to get it. I've had it in NYC as well and so this is a different experience and more "suburban" of course, but the food is literally the same. This is American Halal and the sauces are a MUST. The rice look great and was cooked well but was pretty flavorless. The falafel was also good.
