Food is pretty good. I got the gyro and bowl. Personally don't care for the rice but others do. Hummus is a decent amount. Falafel had good flavor. The bad it's pretty pricey that's why three stars. More than $3 for fries? Olives, jalapeños they charge extra not sue why it's not like it's a significant amount they put on. read more

Oh my god. I've never been so obsessed with ordering from a restaurant before. The Chicken and Gyro plate was absolutely delicious and so was the hibiscus lemonade! I expected more from the mint lemonade but the food makes up for it. I always order online (3rd time) Beef Gyro Plates and the quality of the food is always upheld. They are very careful with their packaging (always including forks, sauces, straws, and napkins). Highly recommend. read more

I love halal guys. The food is always great and the portion sizes are good for the price. The red sauce is really spicy which is great because usually restaurants don't offer food that is spicy enough. I'd give it 5 stars if it had the beyond meat option offered at other halal guys. Let me say, NORMALLY, i love the halal guys food. Yesterday, at 5pm on a sunday, ordered my usual....a reg platter. Less rice, more lettuce please. But when i saw the chopped up iceburg lettuce, i had total regret. For something that is such a big part of the dish for me, such a disappointment to see sad, pathetic, worn out lettuce. I even said to the worker, "thats some sad lettuce." He shrugged and just kept going. Sad that even the worker acknowledged the pathetic lettuce. Then came the tomatoes. Sad and pathetic too. Mealy and kind of gross for tomatoes. Has the quality at this location gone down hill? I drove almost ten miles to come here. There were so many other places i could have gone.....but no, i wanted halal guys. I will def reconsider my choice next time. I might even ask to see lettuce and taste tomatoes before ordering. Maybe i should just let this place be a faint memory of something i used to enjoy and move on. Time will tell! I am sad writing this post. read more

I've been wanting to try this place ever since I saw everyone on youtube saying it's a must try in New York. The hype is real. I got the combo bowl regular. I am a noob so I just got whatever they gave me. There were some addons I'll probably try next time. They loaded it with rice, chicken, beef, veggies, then topped it with that delicious white sauce. They gave me a packet of hot sauce. When I got home, my wife told me I should have got more of it, but to be honest that one packet was so SPICY. I should have put the toilet paper in the freezer the night before because in the morning I needed it. The bowl was so good. I ate it, as is, in the container, but next time I'm putting it in a large bowl so I can mix it up with that hot sauce and really mix it in. I'm definitely coming back, and trying more of that hot sauce, it's worth the fire butt in the morning. read more

Not good. Had the chicken sandwich and fries. The chicken was bland other than a bit too salty, the white sauce tasted like mayo with onion powder and garlic powder, definitely not fresh. The worst of all was the overpowering flavor of shredded, pre-bagged iceberg lettuce, which basically made the whole thing taste like if Subway tried to make a shawarma. The fries were crispy, but I had to wait for them, which normally I wouldn't care, but the sandwich was bad enough to kill the whole experience. read more
