This is one of my wife and Is favorite places to eat and now that there is one located in Riverside it makes it that much better. Or so we thought. We've eaten at this location every time around 6-7 PM and the staff has loud, quick to irritate, and borderline rude. The food was good, though the Gyro tasted dry as if it had been sitting all day. My wife's chicken was also dry and cut into large chunks which isn't traditional for a Halal guys. We'll keep coming back unless we keep seeing a pattern of rude customer service! 4/5 stars just because we have a Halal guys in Riverside. Definitely check it out and see for yourself. read more

One of the girls that worked last night around 8pm taller girl was very rude I walked in my dogs right away with a attitude she asks me if the dogs are service animals I say no. She goes you need to take them outside I'm like I'm just gonna order and leave she goes you can't do that. My sister takes the dogs outside and waits for me. I stand by the register to order she goes you order here you see this sign that says order here that's where you order here with an attitude. I was pleasantly surprised with my first Postmates order from here. At first I was really hesitant because I've had many experiences of ordering delivery and having the restaurants serve significantly less food or not properly paying attention to notes. But I didn't have this problem with Halal Guys today, and in short would recommend to order delivery via Postmates. Furthermore, I've had Halal Guys before in OC and had ordered the gyro platter and loved it. This time I ordered the regular platter of the chicken and falafel and I wouldn't prefer it if I had to choose between the beef gyro. Personally I looked up the nutrition menu before ordering because I was trying to avoid high sodium for this meal. The beef gyro is great if you're looking for a flavorful meal and don't mind very much about the sodium. The chicken or chicken and falafel combo is good if your don't care too much about flavor and are just trying to stay alive or hit your protein intake- because they don't play with the protein quantity! I liked the falafel though. The regular platter is $1 more (@ 14.99) from small, so it's worth it. You'll get at least 3 servings if not at least 2 servings in a regular platter. So it's a much better bargain than Chipotle, especially if your sharing with a friend. The platter is really filling too. So I'm happy that this part of their reputation hasn't changed. Please order the small platter if you'll likely waste food or won't eat leftovers!! Hot sauce has a kick btw. Similar level to chipotle red salsa. Would order from here again! Thank you for paying attention to my notes for extra lettuce and tomatoes. ((P.S. to restaurant)) It would be great if you guys added small 1-1.5 oz samples of the hummus or babba ganoush, if not the baklava, to delivery orders because I'd love to try! read more

When I had walked in I was greeted by Fatima who suggested I try a combination platter. She was helpful in making sure I knew all my options and even convinced me to try the Baklava cheesecake! This is a completely unprofessional business. The guy who claims to be in charge yells at possible new employees in front of both staff and customers. One employee promises jobs and then when you go in like you were told they completely disregard you and are extremely disrespectful. This was my first time here. Usually, when I go to a place that offers pita, rice, toppings and meat, the first thing I notice is that the meat is dry. Contrary to my past experiences, THE CHICKEN WAS MOIST! Additionally, this place has signs that read: "All about the sauce." They weren't kidding! Their white sauce is bomb! Not as great compared to other locations. The proportion sizes are smaller in comparison. Also, the food would be better if it was hot. It was room temperature when I tried it. And one thing that turned me off was that the pita was store bought and not authentic. read more
