I haven't been to the Harbor in probably 20 years until today. The remodel is gorgeous. It's very bright and has fantastic views from every seat inside. The food was delicious and pricey but worth the splurge for a business lunch or special occasion. The service was fine but not up to par for a restaurant of this caliber. Maybe the more experienced servers are scheduled during the dinner service. I'd go back for sure.

This is the type restaurant where you come for great views and good service. Cuz sadly, the food was awful. I would have sent mine back but I was enjoying my weekend getaway and didn't want to make waves. Pros - service, ambiance and incredible view of the harbor. We saw boats and kayakers and paddle boarders up close. It was also great to meet a friendly, enthusiastic employee and fellow Mets fan. Esthetically the restaurant is spacious and welcoming. Cons- as mentioned the food. My grits had jumbo shrimp, but both were over overcooked. Tough shrimp and lumpy underseasoned grits. Adding Tabasco sauce helped somewhat. The poached egg was good but the creamy yolk could not save the meal. My coffee was also weak My friend's shrimp cocktail was also very chewy. Her eggs Benedict with salmon was good enough. Prices were ok. There are two restaurants in one. We dined in the more formal one. Upstairs is a more casual patio. Might be good for drinks or happy hour.

Francisco was the BEST SERVER EVER!!!! The moment we met we were laughing and enjoying our time together. Absolute best experience I've had in Santa Barbara, and I've been to SB MANY times!!!! I loved the seafood tower, it was a lot for 2 people!! I definitely could've taken food home. Overall such a nice experience. This was such a great part of my weekend! :)

Dining here is always a Great experience. Only upstairs dining was available until the remodeling finished which turned out beautifully. Service was attentive. Our dinner was so yummy and enjoyed by all.

We came here to have a late lunch on Monday. Party of 15 after 2:00. The server came 40 minutes late to take our food and drink order. I asked for my filet mignon to be medium rare. It came out medium well. This happened to my son's as well. The service was poor and slow. At that time, it wasn't very busy. The view was beautiful. I guess the restaurant was intended for tourists or someone who doesn't know better.

Food: we had clam chowder, seafood pasta, and cioppino. Clam chowder is the best. We loved it! The pasta dish was also really good, shrimp could be cooked a bit more otherwise the sauce is excellent. Service: well attended by the server. Good service. Checking a few times just to see if furthers service is needed. Ambiance: excellent view with window seat. Saw people kayaking through. Great beach view

Seafood restaurant by the sea/ harbor. Very pretty at sunset. Inside is chic. We got a window table and have amazing view of the ocean. Service is attentive and friendly. We enjoyed all the dishes including beet salad, crab louie salad, and halibut/ salmon dish, Cioppino. The salad portion here is relatively small compared to other restaurants. We made reservation in advance. It should be ok without if you don't need to sit by the window. I always recommend a reservation though so the restaurant knows to expect you and arrange properly.

I came here with a large party for a pre wedding brunch. The ambiance was very nice, great views of the wharf and beach. Omar our server was super friendly and helpful. The food was good, but not mind blowing. I had the lobster Benedict, my egg was pretty overcooked so it was essentially a hard-boiled egg. We also go the duck French toast which was really good, nice flavors with the duck confit and the maple syrup with cashews.

Unfortunately, the beautiful view is ruined by the poor service and food & badly kept restrooms . What can I say? I was terribly disappointed

Great food - brilliant section of wines. Service was a little slower but very courteous. Front desk lady was amazing in accommodating the reservation. Ambiance is right on the harbor. Expensive side but worth a try.

Such a nice place to enjoy the ocean and happy hour. The pineapple mojito was amazing! It took me back to being in the Maldives. Really great service here, Mitch makes excellent drinks! Highly recommend this spot for monday happy hour from 2-closing. The view is unmatched.

Great Happy Hour! Best views in town

Service was great, view was better! Happy hour prices are spot on. Bartender was fantastic and very accommodating.

Food was not good at all. We had oysters , steak tartare , and Ahi sashimi. They kind of put a gourmet twist on it should've left it more traditional. Very over done Beautiful restaurant n great view Service so so Will not return

The owner, Lenny, was super cool, welcoming, and made sure we had a great experience from start to finish. It seemed like a great way to sample a variety of wines without it being overwhelming. We were warmly welcomed by Taylor, who made our visit even more enjoyable. We also ordered the charcuterie board, and it exceeded our expectations. The quality of the ingredients was excellent, and it was surprisingly filling for the two of us. Between the welcoming service, delicious food, and relaxed atmosphere, this ended up being one of our favorite stops in Santa Barbara. We had a series of issues from the start. Our assigned waiter was completely inattentive; he ignored our table, failed to check on us, and never brought the cheese board we ordered. We eventually had to flag down another member of the staff just to get any service at all. Even after we caught his attention, our server seemed aware of us but made no effort to approach or assist. Additionally, the wait time for our wine flights was excessively long. When the cheese board finally arrived, I was shocked to find that all three cheeses were served still inside their original plastic wrappers--not even sliced. To make matters worse, we were provided with plastic knives to cut the cheese ourselves, which was incredibly difficult and frustrating. I have never encountered a cheese board served this way at any establishment. I really wanted to enjoy this visit, and I want to give credit to the other waitresses who were working that day--they were great and were the only saving grace of the experience. However, the lack of basic service and the bizarre presentation of the food made this a trip I wouldn't recommend

In a stretch of Lower State packed with breweries, wine bars, and roaming weekend energy-drink humans in vintage bowling shirts, it threads the needle nicely between cocktail bar and tropical escape pod. The menu leans tiki-adjacent rather than deep-cut exotica, but the drinks are smartly built and avoid the "every problem can be solved with more rum" philosophy. There's a solid spread of spirits across the board, which makes the place feel more welcoming to a broader nightlife crowd instead of strictly rum disciples clutching vintage Trader Vic's mugs. The Oaxacan Dead was the standout for me. Smoky, balanced, endlessly sippable. One of those drinks where every sip quietly talks you into ordering another without turning into a sugar avalanche. The Jungle Bird was also great, though presented more in the direction of a Negroni than the punchier tropical versions you usually see. Bitter, restrained, and easy to settle into. Crowd-wise, things tilted a little frat-floaty as the night rolled on, but the staff handled everything smoothly and kept the vibe from turning into full pirate mutiny. Service stayed friendly and composed even when the volume of the room started climbing like a malfunctioning theremin. Big bonus points for the location and outdoor seating. Being right in the middle of Lower State makes it an easy launch point or final stop depending on your evening trajectory. Grab a drink, people-watch, drift between breweries and wine spots, repeat as necessary.

Thankfully, Cory stepped in and was welcoming, professional, and kind enough to offer us samples of the wines we were interested in trying. What was completely unacceptable, however, was Amanda making comments like, "the owner doesn't even like you." This was both inappropriate and unprofessional, especially considering I do not know the owner and the owner does not know me. There was absolutely no reason for such a disrespectful remark. And that is just ONE example of remarks she made to my friend and I. She also talked down on a stutter that I have, just inappropriate!! The manager or owner (not sure which roll he played exactly) seemed to have been drinking because while he was defending his out of line staff, he yelled "I'm not even supposed to be here, I should be out golfing!"
