There were many things I enjoyed about harvest moon and some that were a little disappointing. But let's start with the good. THE CRAB CAKES- a-mazing. So fresh and flavorful, I could quiet literally eat 5 servings of those they were so delicious. The veggie spring rolls- tasty with an herby forward flavor but still very good. The duck confit ravioli were definitely more dumpling and doughy than duck so I would maybe second guess that dish. As chilled seared tuna was refreshing and tasty, a definite must have as was the seared tuna entree which my boyfriend gobbled right up. My dish on the other hand, the sautéed shrimp really fell short. The shrimp it's self had alot of good flavor but the rest, completely bland. The pasta tasted like water left after boiling plain pasta leaving the shrimp as the sole dish rescuer. As to the hazelnut mousse, it was good, but he sure you love hazelnuts because there are alot of them. Although the staff was extremely kind and warm, Juan i belive our serves name was, was a a total gem. Sadly, the kitchen was very slow and bring out courses and that seemed to occur for all the tables in the room. BUT that aside, there was also a live pianist which made the wait a dream. Each song melting into the next was so relaxing yet exciting, had to tip the man on our way out. I would come back just to listen to him play. I would come back and hope with all the new restrictions lifted, they will be in the ball 100%!

This place was magnificent. The food was excellent. We had an early wine tasting and we were feeling hungry, this places was very close to Unionville winery and I'm so glad we got to try it. Food was amazing, we had the calamari appetizer, salmon and sirloin steak as an entries and woooow best steak I ever had!!!! Next time we come back to the vineyard we will definitely stop to have dinner again.

Ah, The Harvest Moon. Considered one of the top restaurants in NJ. The chef/owner is truly an artist. The combination of ingredients, the presentation, the taste sensation is all amazing. The menu is seasonal so my recommendations may not be there when you go. But trust me, you won't go wrong with any choice. The restaurant is housed in an old stone farmhouse. Giant bar with a piano and tables to one side, more formal dining rooms to the other. If you sit on the tavern side, in addition to the main menu there is a tavern menu that features less expensive, less formal items. However, it is not available Saturday nights. Perfect for a romantic night out, or even for groups and private parties. Unless you're sitting on the tavern side, ordering from the tavern menu, consider it a special night out. Dress up and be prepared to fork over some dough! The only downside to the Harvest Moon is the service can be spotty. The reason for this, I believe, is the high turnover. I know someone who used to work here and the owner isn't happy with anything less than perfection. He has been known to fire his entire wait staff at one time. Gotta love those temperamental chefs.

Dessert sampler! All homemade and delicious. Yes, those are cookie spoons :) Yum!

Is the dress code business casual even at the bar?

I would probably go with business casual but it's not required. You will see people in the bar area wearing jeans.

I bumped up my star calculation 1/2 point higher, because everyone was so nice and when our server…read moredescribed the items on the menu, she actually made my mouth water with the descriptions of ingredients and preparation. I was very impressed by the way we were greeted by Noelle at the door. A little bit of history of the renovated barn turned into a cozy, well-appointed Stockton area BYOB, some smiling chat and then we were off to our table to what we were looking forward to since we made our reservation. I love the idea of the prix fixe menu with a well-rounded selection (fish, seafood, meat, and vegan choices, etc.) Apps The potato soup had a nice smooth consistency, full pieces of lobster meat, a touch of truffle. 4 stars The tuna tartare was fresh but seriously underwhelming. Not much flavor nor pizazz there. I wish I got something else. 2 stars Entrees The seafood ramen noodle thingy, explained to us that it was a newer item in the menu and very popular was the highlight of my evening. The stock is everything in ramen dishes and this was no exception. Excellent lobster stock and perfectly prepared shrimp, cooked to a snap when bitten into. The marinated egg was very different and very good. It had a nice strong tingling taste. 5 stars The braised short rib was tender but dry. However, when mixed with the au jus and pureed carrots on the plate, it livened and juiced the meat up. The roasted broccolini was inedible. Totally undercooked, chewy and a waste of a fine veg. 3 stars Dessert The peach and biscuit napolean presented itself fantastically, was looking forward to the first bite out of this jar of delight and then fell flat. The peaches were hard and tasted like unripen fruit. The honey and syrup and the sweetness of the whipped cream was all one can taste. Very disappointed and a waste of calories. 2 stars Service Hostess 5 stars, wait people 4 stars. It would have been 5 stars, or perfect, if we didn't have to wait 25 minutes for our dessert which was ordered pre-dinner. It's not like it had to be baked fresh, I didn't think. Maybe they had to whip up and bake the biscuits. And also, this was the type of place where you have to chase down your server to get your check and then once again chase them down to take your card. Now, would I go back? If I was in the area, maybe. Some of the other apps and entrees I saw being served looked very interesting. But that was the main problem I had here. Presentation was creative and art-like but some dishes ended up not living up to the vision.

I'm excited to be the fourth review for Northridge restaurant if I can give them a 10 I would if I…read morecan give them 100 I would. I must say they are entire experience at Northridge at Wolverton was within the top 5-10 meals we've ever had together as a couple. We used to come to the Wolverton to stay at the B&B on long weekends with our dogs and since moving to the area, we haven't been back until last night to experience the new restaurant facility. It is absolutely gorgeous. What an incredible architectural repurposing of an existing crumbling historic bank barn into an amazing entertainment center. The staff were so well trained so friendly, using all the proper verbiage, and you can see the excitement in their faces as they were talking about her, presenting the food plates, which were pieces of artwork in of itself . This was our 25th wedding anniversary and I basically gave my wife the option to pick any place to celebrate. And we could've selected from many of our top selects from over the years living in Bucks County, but w gravitated towards the amazing sounding menu. On this special evening we ordered dishes that we would both share so we could taste each each other's through the various courses The opening course was a choice from the kitchen of three individual component ingredients. I can't recite them. All I can tell you is that the chef do an amazing pairing of different flavors to open up the pallet for the evening. You can see my photo of the three items on the one dish being served. For our opening appetizer, of course we shared the potato soup which actually had pieces of lobster in the soup. It had a heavenly soft flavor. Next, we shared the scallops ceviche again, absolutely spectacular flavor profile, and beautifully plated. For our entrée course, my wife had the short rib cavatel and I had lamb. Both dishes were cooked to perfection. The short rib cartel was a little bit al Dante the way my wife likes it and lamb was cooked, medium rare it was perfect and again the plates were a work of art and I'm a photographer and I've shot food. These were outstanding. To bring our meal to the homestretch, we only ordered one dessert item so one of us had a three course versus the other having a two course and that was the strawberry gatteaux with two coffees. Every dish was beautifully presented Tracy doing an incredible job enlightening us to the preparations the ingredients and it was just such a lovely relaxing evening that we literally felt that we were again away at a special B&B. A special shout out to Matthew the owner's son who offered us an incredible tour of the barn facility as a photograph historic bar for River Towns Magazine. It was awesome seeing the level of detail that was brought forth and the thinking that went into keeping as much of the original 1800s facility Incorporated into a modern entertainment restaurant Facility Please see our lovely photos. Don't blame me if you drool just make a reservation. Plenty of parking on the property and it is a BYOB.
