Would skip right over people she didn't know. Extremely rude service. Signed up for karaoke waited over an hr and my name still hadn't been called the regulars sign up back to back. I love this lil dive bar!! My lil hole in the wall!! The place that puts a smile on my face! I am here with my friend basically every weekend and maybe some weekdays! I like to switch it up on em! The atmosphere is fun and laid back and on weekends they have karaoke and these customers are passionate about their karaoke okay! We were in town for a cheer competition and my husband and I always are down for a good dive bar. I wouldn't really say this is a dive bar, but from the looks of it on the outside, we weren't sure if we wanted to go in or not, it Just didn't have your typical Bar look but boy I am glad we did. Me and my wife have been to the Hideout a couple of times. It's a nice looking cozy bar. Plenty of TV's and good music. The food and drinks are good, and reasonably priced. Our bartender on a Saturday afternoon was Linda, and she was awesome. Super friendly and funny. The Karaoke in the evening is supposed to be top notch. This is the definition of a dive bar, it's pretty small, but they do optimize the space as far as seating. As far as I can tell, the main draw here is karaoke. It seems like everyone gets really into it and seems to be pretty good at singing too! They do have food, but I haven't ordered from here yet. It all looks pretty good! The only reason I'm giving it four stars instead of five is that my group was moved from a large table due to a "reservation" that never showed up. Went here on a Saturday and it was completely packed. Luckily a guy moved so my gf and I could sit down. The bartender said he was the only worker yet I could see workers in the back. He blatantly ignored us every time we tried to get his attention. The karaoke was entertaining but not fun when we couldn't get any service. So we left and decided to give this place another chance when it wasn't as busy. Our next visit was on a Wednesday. it wasn't as busy but we STILL got ignored! This time the bartender was extremely rude. We ordered the bbq wings but they messed up and we got the Buffalo instead. Didn't complain cause it took forever for us to get them. Who knows what he'd do to the food if I complained that it was wrong. The ambiance is loud, completely packed drunkards that can't sing but what can I say at least they're having fun. Went for the karaoke and was kicked out after one drink because one women who was causing a scene took a chair from our table then shoved it in one of my friends knee when she was done with it then cursed in his face. Super fun dive bar with karaoke! Some friends told me about this place, so I'm glad we came by to check it out on Saturday night. I guess the place used to be called Sponge Reef? It's kind of hard to find from the street. Not well signed, but we figured it out eventually. Plenty of parking in a private lot. I like how you can put your song requests in from their website online. The sound system isn't the best, but this place is just for fun, not a singing competition. read more

They have no idea how to answer a phone, nor do they know how to prepare food in a timely manner. I waited over an hour for my order, calling them repeatedly using the number that they suggested within the other guy's complaint, but they never answered. Not once. So screw it, I called Uber eats and got a refund. Update: Obsessive much? Jennifer, you confirmed and accepted my order (the very first step when an UberEATS order is placed, thus calling you out on your lies,) forgot about it, failed to answer the phone when I called, got a bad review online, and tried covering it up. Don't think I didn't notice your hostile, accusatory, and condescending initial reply - and, of course, it's gradual climb back into the reaches of an attempt at a semi-polite rebuff. :) Just own up to your mistake and move on, lady. You're embarrassing yourself. Update, one YEAR later: Is it normal to have to revisit a prior Yelp review and add more negative input? Not really, but rumors that this establishment likes to tell their cultish groupies to harass negative reviewers are certainly true. Dive Bar + Karaoke... don't get yours hope too high, it's just a home town dive bar. But the staff was friendly and made sure everyone had a chance to sing when it got busy by moving people who already sang further down the list. I agree that I wouldn't eat here, it's not the most pristine dining establishment. But I'm sure it's fine. The glasses were clean. The regular bar flies were a little creepy which is why I am giving 4 stars but the staff was quick to cut it off. I'd go back for another round. read more

The place is as small as it looks from the outside, as crammed as the reviews say, the crowd was most certainly what you'd expect (they weren't every welcoming to me and my bf...it wasn't until I realized we were the only colored couple there, that I understood...
