Excellent food and not too busy on a Friday night. The food was very savory and tasty. It ranged from mild to medium spicy. Service was quick and attentive. All the food items turned out to be excellent and enjoyable. Portions are generous, and they really take pride in their food. The quality was very high, and the cuts of meat were flavorful, soft and tasty. Everything was cooked in a unique sauce and mixture of spices. Highly recommended.

This place is worth all the hype! If there isn't hype, I'll make some. Himalayan Flames has the most delicious Chicken 65 on planet Earth- I've never gone anywhere where it isn't just a little bit dry, but here it's scrumptious and the stuff of dreams. I ordered my usual butter chicken and got a side of naan and daal with it. The price was reasonable for the portion, which was generous for both plates, and the butter chicken was tasty! I forgot to specify my spice level when ordering (I usually order hot), so mine came with a basic level which was still flavorful and had a good texture. My butter chicken was served in large pieces which I opted to cut so I could scoop them with my naan better. The naan was pillow soft with good toasting and butter. The staff was fast and filled my water cup often which I appreciated. The restaurant lighting is dim (though there are a lot of sparkling lights and candles which lends to the vibe) but there is a large window facing the road which gives it good light if that is your preference to have that view. Bonus points for my rice being so so good and soft!

Loved the food. Ambience was really nice and comfortable. Service was solid. Price was a bit high for lunch - I would have loved to see some lunch specials to put this in the $10-15 range instead of the $18-25 range. I had the METHI MALAI CHICKEN and it was unique, salty and sweet with umami, and I would order it again in a heartbeat. The bread that came with it was a delight. The hours here on Yelp are NOT accurate (even though it's a claimed business) and don't match what's on their website. I went there for lunch, walking from my office. Attaching a screenshot from their website proving they're open for lunch - which I can also prove with my receipt that I ate there at 12:30pm. :)

It has been a few years since we have been here, but it was just as delicious as I remembered. We arrived at noon on a Saturday, and I was one of 2 seated tables in the building. We ordered the butter chicken, 2 pieces of naan, and a mango lassi.

I did not have a great experience my second go around. It went downhill after we fished a black, curly hair out of our soup. I could forgive that, but my chicken dish was the worst Indian dish I've had in years. They tried to get away with using chicken thighs, slicing them up and hiding them in the sauce, instead of breasts. But chicken thighs shouldn't be cooked like breast meat for a reason. They were greasy, rubbery, and difficult to cut through with a fork. I won't go below 3 stars for this review because my first experience was pleasant (the goat was good), but I probably won't be returning here.

Food was absolutely delicious and was ready for pickup when I arrived. The Manchurian Dahl was so good as was the Chicken Tikka & Saag Paneer. Always enjoy their Cheese Naan. Highly recommend.

Wide range of menu options, including lots of vegan. Tasty flavors with some heat. Fair pricing with portions and great service. Lots of available parking in the back. Will go back to try more.

The food was AMAZING! If you are looking Indian food this is the perfect place. I got the rustic kadai, and it was very delicious with the basmati rice and the naan. The Andhra curry was on the spicier side but it was manageable for anyone who has a reasonable spice tolerance and garlic naan Service was also fast and the interior was cute and modern. A lot of natural lighting and cute. I can only image how the restaurant looks at night with the downtown view around. Michigan Ave is a beautiful area to be!

The food was outstanding. The lamb was incredibly tender, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The fresh bread, rice, and overall quality of the meal reminded me why Dearborn has become one of my favorite food destinations whenever I'm in Michigan. What made the experience even better was the service from Murad. From the moment I sat down, Murad was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind. He got my food out quickly, checked on me throughout the meal without being intrusive, and before I left, he thoughtfully brought me a wonderful cup of tea to finish the evening. His warm smile, positive attitude, and professionalism made a great meal even more memorable. Restaurants can serve excellent food, but great hospitality is what keeps people coming back. Murad is a perfect example of that. If management is reading this, he's doing an outstanding job representing your restaurant. I'll be back every time my travels bring me to Dearborn.

It was my first time and I wanted to try a few things. I had the lamb smashburger, the butter chicken tacos, and the shrimp tacos with a cup of masala chai on side. Everything was on point. I don't have one complaint. The food came out hot and everything was full of flavor. Based on our experience, I would strongly recommend considering other venues. We hosted my sister's jago party here. During the venue selection process, Punjab initially offered us a flat food rate and stated that alcohol pricing would be state minimum plus $10. After we explored other venues, they agreed to reduce it to state minimum plus $5. We also specifically discussed timing, and were told we could stay as late as needed because "they understand how Punjabi parties go." However, just a few days before the event, I requested the finalized alcohol pricing and was shocked to see it was nearly triple the state minimum pricing we had discussed. At the same time, we were suddenly informed of food service timing restrictions and told the kitchen would close at 10 PM. None of this had been clearly communicated upfront, and there was never a reasonable explanation for the pricing change. Unfortunately, the issues continued on the day of the event: * The bathrooms were dirty, had no soap in the dispensers, and several stalls did not have functioning locks. * Appetizers were served about 20 minutes late and then picked up early. * Service staff were rude to guests and even attempted to charge guests for ginger ale. * Staff attempted to stop dinner service at 10 PM, and our family had to intervene to keep food available for guests. The constant last-minute changes and lack of professionalism made what should have been a joyful celebration unnecessarily stressful. We are a family of professionals, and this is simply not how business should be conducted.
