Excellent breakfast! I had the scrambled eggs with rumiano cheese & Country potatoes with Bell Peppers and Onions. It was hot, buttery and delicious. I ordered takeout and the waiter was gracious, brought out the food quickly. Highly recommend!

Great getaway spot , that is chill. Quaint rooms that have thin walls but ones that are river side have a great view. Dinner served on weekends only which is really too bad . Would enjoy the bed and breakfast + dinner experience,,since the best local food is at a gas station up the road. Room + dinner optional a week in advance would make it feasible in these difficult tourist times. Great view from the restaurant and the breakfast staff and food is outstanding. Jacuzzi and firewood in backyard is provided as well. Favorite spot is the front porch with view of the river.

I truly cannot say anything negative about this place as it really made our Redwoods trip much more memorable with how cozy the Requa Inn is. I was sad to leave. We were looking for a place to stay during our trip to the Redwood National Park and had planned to drive all along the coast, so needed a base for a few days. We found The Historic Requa Inn in Klamath, which seemed to be a good location as it was central to everywhere we wanted to go, which was key. But I didn't expect it to be as outstanding as it was. We arrived to the hotel before the concierge left, just in time, too, as the hotel doors lock at 8pm. We had no idea until we arrived and were told this helpful information, along with everything else. Since we got into town late, we didn't realize that everything in town was closed for dinner. The kind staff saw us trying to find a place to grab dinner, so he offered us his sandwich. Way too kind of him! Of course we politely declined and ended up eating snacks on our first night, but that just shows you how kind the staff are here. We had breakfast here the following morning, which was delicious. Even locals come here to this hotel restaurant for breakfast, so it's not just guests. The food is very tasty, hearty and is freshly made. I never ate anything here that I wouldn't get again. It was a great way to start our long day of hiking and adventures. Because the hotel was built in 1914, it's historic and charming. All of the hotel rooms are uniquely decorated, so no room is the same. It had antique furniture and decore. The lobby area and bedrooms do not have a TV, encouraging guests to enjoy the simple and classic, as they have puzzles, board games, and books in the lobby area for guests to use. I loved that. I especially loved reading out on the deck, looking out to the river and road. They also offer free coffee, tea and hot cocoa for guests and put out in the middle of the day port that you can pour yourself a glass of and freshly baked cookies. PLUS, since we visited during the Independence Day holiday weekend, the hotel offered guests a complimentary BBQ meal on July 4th! And it was not just standard burgers and hot dogs, they made grilled chicken with different salads, sides and fresh fruit. It was a great way to connect with other hotel guests over this shared, celebratory meal. Our bedroom was very comfortable. It had everything we needed, with wifi, a fan, night light in the bathroom, handmade soaps, a complimentary bottle of wine, tons of blankets, etc. Even though the room didn't have AC, we had no trouble cooling down with the fan and open windows that had fresh air coming through. I also loved that the hotel was in the town of Klamath, with no traffic noise or city lights, so the nights were quiet and peaceful. We really did not want to leave this wonderful hotel. So glad I was able to stay here and learn about the area. I would happily stay here again.

You also need to have at least one of your meals at the restaurant. Amazing food and wine. Requa is a special place in the heart of Yurok Territory. I loved this place!!! I didn't realize it would be as amazing as it was until I got there. The grounds were beautiful. The interior was pretty and organized with unique and antique decor. We stayed in the African suite. It was cozy and extremely comfortable. We didn't have time to use the jacuzzi tub, but it looked spectacular. The complimentary sherry in the decanter was extremely classy and the perfect nightcap to our evening. The long deck was amazing to see the fog roll in and the sun come up. The sounds of the fountain were very relaxing. David was so accommodating and friendly. It is obvious that they take pride in giving their guests outstanding experiences. David's breakfast was so delicious and gave us the fuel we needed for a day of hiking at Redwood. He also gave some recommendations based on his experiences in the area. My only regret is that we didn't arrive earlier so we could have spent more time there. We didn't arrive until late. I highly recommend this place. My boyfriend and I stayed at Anna Wulf's because we wanted to hike in the redwood forest. I wasn't sure what to expect, how the rooms were going to be like, if the food was going to be good, etc., But to my surprise, it was an amazing experience!! The food is AMAZING!! My favourite was the quiche and the flourless cookies... yummy!! My boyfriend LOVED their bacon and they even made him extra strong drip coffee (which is a must to try if you're a coffee lover). Paula is the best. She is perhaps one of the sweetest people I know and I always wanted to hug her. She's so friendly and I loved eating and listening to her contagious laugh. She suggested a lot of places for us to visit and recommended an amazing trail (boyscout trail) that led to a beautiful waterfall. We were also blessed to meet Mitzi, who is just a loveable person! I basically can't tell you how much I loved this place. The location is great as well! Very close to a lot of things and we ended up going to Oregon for a day. Lastly, the HOUSE... we stayed in the Mayor's room which has a window overlooking the streets so it was quite lovely. The mistress room is quite exciting-- there are naked pictures on the wall so it does create the raunchy feeling, but it's far from tasteless. Loved it and I can't wait to go back!!

The bed was comfortable and could slightly hear the sea lions from our room. No t.v. in the room and it was nice to connect with nature and rest. There was an indoor heater in the closet that we turned on to heat up the room and turned off when we slept. The blankets kept us warm at night. One night after staying out at the fire pit to hang out with other guests, we got back to our room to shower and we didn't have hot water. One of the innkeeper's told us sometimes it happens when too many people are showering at once. Not a deal breaker, although I want to share because this is something that I'd want to know. Back to good stuff...their breakfast is delicious every morning. It tastes like it is made with love. There is a trail down to the beach and a fire pit where they have all the ingredients necessary to make smores. The view is spectacular here. Truly one of a kind. We loved our experience here and look forward to coming back.

I'm a foodie so when I go somewhere to eat it better be something I can't easily replicate at home. Ana really out does herself with a multiple course breakfast. Very filling, clean eating, freaking DELICIOUS! Everything from the delicate slightly-sweet breads to the hearty main course which always includes eggs in some form, to the fresh fruit to the handmade desserts accompanying every breakfast. The coffee is safe (not too strong, not too weak, not at all bitter). They also offer loose leaf tea if coffee is not your thing. VERY HAPPY with Breakfast prepared by Ana. Breakfast is worth the trip all by itself *YUM* Their attention to detail is exhausting. There are too many amenities to list and even little snacks on tables though out the house. I wouldn't change a thing. I slept like a rock. I'm not sure how many rooms they rent out each night, but there seemed to be different couples and even an entire family staying during our time there. Never once did we hear anyone else in the house unless we left our room. I would DEFINITELY RECOMMEND this place over staying at a local hotel; they are priced about the same.

The steps and railings could use a bit of updating for safety and the stairs leading towards the beach area were in much need of repair, to the point that it was not a good idea to venture too far down that path as the lower steps dropped down further than the rest. The handrail at the very bottom was frail and really should not be allowed public access without being made much sturdier. When parking, it required you to back all the way out to the roadway.
