Went in this morning after placing an online order for a tool. Bonney Lake was a bit of a drive for me, but the website showed there were four left in stock, so I made the trip. When I arrived, I waited around 30 minutes only to be told they couldn't find the tool. The employee helping me mentioned he was supposed to be off work already and seemed understandably frustrated. It's really disappointing to see the website list items as available, allow you to purchase them, and then find out in person that they can't be located. I tried to return a brand new appliance to Home Depot and they gave me the run around, telling me to go to a different location only to find out I had to go back to Bonney Lake. Then when I drove back to Bonney Lake the customer service rep told me they would not return it.. The manager would not even come to the customer service station and listen to my case. The customer service rep was quite rude and raised her voice at me. There's a reason why Home Depot only scores 2 out of 5 stars on 62 Yelp reviews.. I will be taking my business elsewhere!! Took in a Father's Day gift (tool) from my son and grandson to exchange for a different type. It was really slow on Father's Day and there were 4 people working the Return area. No one was waiting so I was immediately helped. The issue was that the person credited the returned item to my son's Visa card without even asking me anything. It was done in a matter of seconds and I was told that she couldn't reverse it. She said "Oh, here's the credit receipt, just give it to your son". LOL. So here's an employee whose sole job is to process returns and she can't do it correctly on a day when they were all literally standing around. I was so disguised that I left without buying all the items I went there to purchase. This store is horrible. read more

Asked the gentleman at the customer service desk to unlock the wiring cabinet so I could purchase some copper wire, he said sure thing I'll be there shortly. Waited at the return desk for help as multiple Home Depot employees from behind the counter walked by without helping, acknowledgment or saying anything. The older woman who was working in customer service kept quiet as that line stacked up. After the customers talking amongst each other, wondering if anyone was going to help us in the return line, the grumpy Employee said "I am the only one working this area and I'll get to you when I can." I responded by saying it would have been nice if you had told us there was no one working in the return section. So that we didn't stand here at the return table, not knowing nobody was working it, and then other people got in line to the customer service ahead of us. The sales associates have no idea where anything is. It's a miracle if you can even find any one. I swore I would never go back here. But I ended up going back ordered some appliances and set up delivery. The day before I was supposed to receive the appliances I get a voicemail stating that they have to cancel my delivery and someone would be reaching out in the next few days to set up a new delivery date. I chose for a refund and now they are fighting me on that as well. The so called manager Josh was no help at all. Shop anywhere else. Home Depot has gone so downhill. read more

Never had a bad experience here, staff have always been very helpful and pointing me in the right directions of new sales that I'm looking for that are on the end caps. Military discount is applied to most items, but not everything in store. I don't understand why numerous companies hand pick which items will get a Military discount and others will not, but it's not the end of the world. Have found the dedicated parking for veterans a BEAUTIFUL thing, as sometimes the place is packed and it saves me from having to walk extremely far to where I'm trying to shop in. I recommend this location as a place to shop, as you will always get/find what you need extremely quickly. read more

I went in about 3 weeks ago and this location was so dirty! You could tell the floors hadn't been cleaned in a long time. There were literally piles of concrete spilled onto the floors where the spilled out of their bags. It was so over stuffed with outdoor furniture you couldn't move around! Didn't care that they told us it wasn't the right product, even though it looked exactly alike. What was also misleading was that the box we grabbed also had the same name that was called Cool Grey, as in the picture. What did it for me was that she didn't even want to bother checking to see if they had it in stock, so we suggested they should take down the sale sticker if they don't have any at all. Have had 2 different problems with in 2 weeks. 1st: tool rental is a joke. They rent out broken equipment and dont even check it before giving it to you. Had to run back down there as the wand to the pressure washer was broken/defective. Then when we get home (30 minute 1 way trip mind you) . Now the pressure washer will not start as the motor seized. Had to just return the piece of shit and wasted half a day on paying someone to do the actual pressurewaashing which he was not able to do Problem 2) we always buy our bottled water here as they actually rotate the stock here compared to other stores. Sunday 8/18/19 we go and buy water like we usually do and use self check out. 1st time it decines my card, so we cancel and start again. The 2nd time it accepts it. When I look at my statement, they CHARGED ME TWICE! The computer only spit out one receipt. I call on 8/20/19 to get a refund for the fact they double charged me and the associate on the phone said to come in and ask for management as the managers know this is a problem and I am not the 1st one! DO NOT USE PLASTIC (CREDIT/DEBIT) HERE!!! I come here often to get things all the time. The people are more knowledgeable then Lowe's I believe. It's not very busy and you can get in and out pretty quick. I think it's awesome that they have a dedicated parking for veterans and they offer a 10% military discount. Only negative thing I encountered is if they dont have it in store and I would like to order something online and have it shop to store I can't use my military discount sadly. read more

SCAM ALERT Whatever you do Do not get a Home depot card thru Fortiva. Over a month ago they charged my husbands card for the same item 9 times in a three minute period. Totalling over 2500.00. We have spent Hours on the phone at home and actually in the store and are still getting the run around.We were told it would be resolved by the 23rd at the latest. Still getting no actual help.. Old lady cashier, unhelpful. I was in return/exchange line, trying to get her to atleast glance at me for a little, But nothing. Didnt even look up to acknowledge me. So I asked her if I should go to the other side instead. "Yes! Go over there im gonna take a while here" still no eye contact. So I moved, but another employee was also not paying attention to me, I waited, while in line an employee came up to me (possibly a manager) and asked if someone's already helped me. I said no and told him I was told to move here. He told the old lady to help me because I have been waiting. Her face went sour like she was pissed. She said "Come on over here!" I was still being polite because its not in my nature to talk back to elderly. She was being rude while doing the whole exchange transaction. I even said sorry and thank you after. Why is it so hard to get around in here? Just walked out without even getting close to what I needed. Guys is buying a few PVC tubes. Worker is scanning his stuff. In the middle of the aisle. After saying excuse me several times, and being ignored by the employee who was blocking the entire walkway, I realized he just wasn't budging. To get to where I needed to go, I was going to have to walk pretty much the perimeter. Not everyone is capable of doing that real well. Then I remembered how many times I've been blocked out of aisles, given attitude because what I needed was in a closed aisle and I had the audacity to ask how long before it was available, may have even been the same guy....sorry. Crappy customer service drives me away every time. I don't expect to get treated like a princess, but being ignored like that... So much for being ADA compliant...Lowe's here I come! read more

The worst Home Depot of any Ive had the misfortune of shopping at. At this location like I would assume at most locations they have an enormous saw that will rip down a piece of plywood to your desired specifications. Apparently the absolute minimum safety the Home Depot saw operator needs is 12 inches. Need a 4x8 piece of plywood ripped down to a 43"by 8'? Tough luck there. I believe I've had one pleasant shopping experience here, since then it's been punctuated by incident after incident stemming from rude or poorly informed employees, for example the overweight elderly man wearing all kinds of badges on his heavily stressed suspenders belittling my wife simply because she had the audacity to interrupt his menial task as a woman. If I could give this a negative score I would.. Do not waste your time with the appliance section. My wife and I ordered a whole new LG kitchen suite. It was advertised as buy now get it by the holiday (thanksgiving)/ we ordered on 11/4 and were suppose to receive on 11/22. We even ordered stuff that showed in stock, rather then something that was special order... needless to say it's 12/5 and I still do not have a refrigerator. They lied to us every step of the way, and LG is not saint either. I went to the paint section today. There were two people working there at the time and it was not too busy. The lady was nice and tried to help a little but the man was quite short and rude to me but super helpful to another lady right after me. I politely asked for paint samples and it was like asking him to donate a kidney. They didn't even have a sample for pure white and white- I'm assuming two popular colors? I was clearly trying to figure out how I can get a color to match my wall (I brought a sample that was admittedly very small but they didn't even try to help). I recommend trying Federal way or puyallup for better customer service. read more

I purchased nearly $3,500 in appliances for our new home in Utah at the beginning of June. Ordering with Paul should have given me a clue that EVERYONE in this store is incompetent (I knew exactly what i wanted including model #'s but the process still took over an hour once i sat down, I'm not sure he had ever used a computer before). I gave him the anticipated close date and he assured me multiple times we could push the delivery out as far as needed. That was NOT true. The warehouse cancelled my order and because I had paid with my debit card the store refused to issue a refund unless I walked into the Bonney Lake location. By the time this happened in late July I was already in Utah so Angela (and many others) promised a check mailed to me in 6-8 weeks!! I wasn't happy with the solution, but what recourse did I have? None! Fast forward to September 12th, It's been 6 weeks and I'm anticipating the promised refund check, but instead I receive a call from the store saying my refund is ready to be processed, please come into the store. What??? I explained everything AGAIN and she assures me she has requested a check and it should arrive in 2 weeks. At this point I lost all faith, so I called Friday 9/20 to follow up and I'm now told that I need to speak with the manager to have a check approved (same check that was already supposed to be in the mail) She says she is forwarding my information to the manager and I should hear from them soon. This was at noon, still no call back! (shocker) Monday I called to follow up and the phone rang and rang until it disconnected, no answer. Call corporate care because I'm DONE with this sorry store. After more than an hour of explaining, and them calling the Bonney Lake store, she says they refuse to give me my money back unless I go to the store (I live in UTAH!) The couple hundred dollars I saved was NOT worth it, save yourself the trouble and shop at Lowe's! read more

This score is based off of a really disappointing visit my husband and I made to the Bonney Lake Home Depot this evening after work. We were tired and hungry but eager to order and set up delivery of the supplies we needed for a project we plan to do this weekend. The first employee a tired looking lady with questionable customer service skills told us we had to go take photos of all the things we wanted to buy and bring them to her to enter in an order before she could even tell us if we could get it delivered on Saturday. She gave us no information on pricing or time window or anything to help us. After we walked the store taking photos of barcodes we returned to the customer service counter and were engaged by an older gentleman who slowly entered each item in the order. He then asked me to type in my email for my account. For the sake of speed (we were very tired and hungry and it was getting late) I entered all my information to set up my new account. He then gave us the unimaginable prices for the delivery. 79$ to have it left in my drive way and 99$ to have it put on my porch!? He let us know that the delivery time would be between 6am and 8pm on Saturday. We could get a 4 hour window for an additional 20$ so 120$ in delivery charges added onto our 860$ order. The grand total after taxes would have been well over 1000$ this process at this point had taken 45 mins. We were in the final stretch the order was entered the time was set the charges agreed to and he stops and say let me just process a return for the guy who showed up 5 mins ago and make you good people with the large order wait longer. ??? We left...and told him we would pick it up....from somewhere else. We are now a Lowes household. read more

Having seen a new refrigerator on sale at Costco, we went to The Home Depot in Bonney Lake only to discover that they "don't" price-match Costco because they are considered a high-volume wholesale warehouse, rather then a comparative "retail" store... So I researched the numbers... Costco currently has 727 stores, which has limited choices of options available for sale. In comparison, as of February 2016, The Home Depot has 2,274 stores nationwide, offers numerous options (which equates to numerous incentives from competing vendors)... Needless to say, The Home Depot's response to their customers is nothing more then bull-S%#t... After speaking with the salesperson at The Home Depot, they whispered "buy it at Costco." We will be making our purchase at Costco. I would have left a single star, but one of the salespeople whispered to my wife to, "purchase at Costco." So the extra star is for the referral. read more

I purchased a snow blower and arranged for shipment to my home. 3 1/2 weeks later I still don't have it. I've worked through correcting an incorrect shipping address, two days off work waiting for the delivery and the carrier not show up, calls to the Customer Support Center, calls and emails with the carrier and I just left the store. I no longer want it. I just want a refund and for this all to end. I want a refund but can't get it. I now have to wait for Home Depot to make an address change with the carrier to send it back to them. Bottom line is the carrier is Home Depot's partner and the snow blower is somewhere in their facility with no delivery date. When I complain about not being able to get my money back, I'm being told by the Customer Service team that they are trying to help me. Their approach to the carrier is like they are at the carriers mercy and can't do anything. The product is confirmed in their ecosystem and it's as if no one has the monetary authority to make the customer whole again; just make him wait while they work through a process that's only good for them! read more

He went above and beyond to help me- from primers to brush types, even gave an explanation as to why a certain product would work best on my type of cabinet. He was SO helpful. I don't usually go to this Home Depot, but I made the commute to purchase a portable air conditioner because their website stated that they still had limited stock available at this location. I arrived and asked an employee where their AC's were located, he seemed annoyed and pointed me to the direction where they were at - only to find out that their stock of AC's were all sold out. I just returned from a shopping trip to Home Depot trying to find a pair of Husky gloves for my son for Christmas. I asked a customer service rep for help and Dave showed up immediately after he was paged. He helped locate the gloves, but they just had size XL on display. ( I nedded L ) He took this device out and checked to see if there were any in stock. After that, he looked at boxes according to numbers on boxes at the top shelf in same isle, which there were tons. I told him it was okay, since it looked like we were out of luck. I told him, I will buy the XL, and exchange them after Christmas. I looked around the store after that for a very small lightbulb, and right after I purchased the gloves, Dave appeared after tracking me down at the cash register to say he found the gloves in size L. I could barely believe he went to all of that trouble for me. That to me is superior service. I am impressed since fabulous customer service is not always what it used to be anymore. This store is very clean and well organized, and with associates like Dave to help, I will definitely go back. GOLD STAR FOR DAVE. Very poor customer service rented a dump trailer for 4 hours drove it home and found out I didn't need it returned in within an hour of renting it and they still proceeded to charge me for the full four hours and unknowingly discovered that they also automatically include a damage waiver on my contract. I would understand if they had no more dump trailers to rent but they had 3 left to rent. The associate that processed the return when I asked if they are charging full price said yep and there is nothing he could do about it its all the system. I told him that seems ridiculous and he shrugged his shoulder. A moment later he than proceeds to ask "Well are you happy?" With a smile.on his face. Just a really dumb and unnecessary sarcastic comment. Will not be returning to rent anything in the future or purchase anything from.this store. I have shopped here for a while simply because its close and mostly convenient. That said, its rare to find someone in paint, plumbing, electrical or hardware that can answer product questions related to various diy or construction. They can load you up and shove ya towards a cash register just fine but dont go looking for answers. Today, i couldnt find what i was looking for and was told 2/3rds of home depots inventory is on line and so of course they didnt have it. I ended up one aisle over looking for something else and found what i was looking for to begin with. Just out of principal i didnt buy it. Unless i am in a pinch i dont think i will be using this store any more. Oh, and get all the damn pallets of products out of the aisles. U cant get thru worth a damn if there is another person walking buy. Home Depot you have taken a fall from how you used to be. read more
