Stop at many Home Depot's throughout the years. This location has a great rental staff. Knowledgeable and efficient. Booked power washer over the phone. I guess it was a hot item for the weekend I needed it. It was waiting for me upon my arrival. Explained how to operate it and helped me load it onto my pickup truck. Very reasonable pricing and detailed explanation of how the process is suppose to work. Equipment worked great for our needs. All went well. Do not buy appliances from here. You only have 48 hours to return and then they pass the buck. They sold us a "garage ready" freezer. It doesn't stay cold even though we've had other freezers in our garage for 15+ years with very few problems. We have only had the freezer for 3 weeks and we are told too bad it doesn't stay cold, the freezer doesn't work after 110 degrees... Then why do you sell garage freezers in the Valley???? read more

Friendly staff when I had questions and the parking was plentiful. Every time I go here for something, I usually find what I was looking for. This was close to me so nothing to complain about there. The aisles looked organized and clean. I had to return a few things here in the past and didn't have any issues with those transactions. Overall, I had good experiences all of the times I've been here and I will be back in the future. read more

I cannot understand how this Home Depot which is a few miles away from the Chandler location on Alma School and Chandler has such a vast difference in items. I checked the website and it indicated there were a quantity of 4 in-stock brasscraft gas line install kits. However, upon arrival there were none to be found by myself or the employee assisting me. Not only could be not locate any on the shelf we could not find a tag on the floor for them and there were none in the back warehouse. Not sure if that is a stocking issue or a back-end issue but I will stick to the other HD location as it seems to have more items on the shelves. read more

And when I call, the moron who answers the phone is competing with herself to talk as fast as she can so nobody can understand WTF she is saying. Home Depot itself is good but they sent us to Rockwood Shutters and the experience was bad. Poor customer service on multiple occasions, forgetting to measure windows twice, and completely forgot to order a window even after being reminded. Tech hung up on my wife 2x and had no empathy after no one, including himself, forgot to disclose a critical piece of info which almost derailed our while project. read more

Talk about exceptional customer service! This gentleman Gabe knocked it out the ball park. My family and I (57 year old mother and father) are doing a back yard project that required bricks. We knew this wasn't going to be fun as these bricks are pretty heavy. Home Depot employee Gabe, I assume saw us struggling.. and When most employees would have walked away, gave walked up to us to see if he could help us in anyway. I mentioned to Gabe that we could really use some extra hands and he got down and started piling away bricks with my family and I. He could tell my mom and I didn't have much strength when we were trying to push the cart and he not only pushed the cart out to our truck but once again helped us unload these bricks onto our trucks. We were very impressed as we've never received that type of service at any home good store before. This gentleman deserves to be recognized! Carl Y, an Assistant Store Manager, refused to price match a valid, advertised product (and refused to allow me to speak with anyone else). He stated that because it's another Home Depot, not "other retailer" it doesn't count. This is completely illogical, if they were the same retailer, I wouldn't have to ask them to price match because the price would be the same. Don't believe the Home Depot app when it refers you to a store that claims to have items available for purchase. We went there looking for an item that the app said they had four (4) left of. Got there, no item. Although the app said I could have clicked on the item and had it waiting for me in two-hours (curbside pickup.) I know, because I was able to take that process almost all the way to the end. (I didn't follow through because I didn't want Home Depot tying up my $$ until they figured out they couldn't fill the order.) There was one saving grace in the store...a young man who looked for our item diligently for TWENTY minutes. He surmised that the item got it that day, and is stuck/hidden in the back, and no one put it out. It was later in the evening (830pm) and he was only covering the department. It wasn't his usual stomping ground. Yet he still worked VERY steadfastly to try and help us. Very admirable quality. read more

I've been in here a few times and they've never taken COVID seriously, but this past time I saw three "patriots" walking around with no masks (nobody said anything to them) and multiple employees that did not appear to grasp the complexity of how to actually wear theirs. Went here for sand. Was lifting some 60lbs bags into my cart, put one back because it had a hole in it and was leaking some sand. Employee comes up and asks if I need help because they're heavy. I say no, but slip on some sand while lifting the second bag and he LAUGHS. Very unprofessional! He proceeds to put a bag in my cart for me when I said I did not want help and I put my bag on top of it. If I'd asked for help, different story, but I did not and he was quite rude for laughing at me. read more

This HD is very good. They seem to have knowledgeable people. When I was putting in my irrigation system a while back I got a lot of good info from their plumbing guy. Apparently he was a master plumber. On this trip I needed a overheat sensor for a can light. The lighting guy had a can he said he couldn't sell because it was missing something, and proceeded to rip the sensor out for me. No charge. That's customer service! read more

It's funny how life changes when you get married, or have a child or even buy a house...I used to detest going to Home Depot, so much that it would make me nauseous and sleepy. I would avoid going here like it was a plague. We just bought a house (WOO HOO) and we've spent nearly every weekend, at least 1-2x in the same day at the Home Depot. So much so, that the people working there, like the paint people, know us!!! I don't know what the requirements are to work there, I don't know if they have to have a background in handy man (woman) 201, but they really know their stuff. Always very helpful, very knowledgeable and the paint ppl...there's not much I can't say! I've brought the same gallon of custom paint, 2x, and wanted them to change the color, because the one I had originally chosen, doesn't look good on my walls. No worries, they will adjust the paint until it's to my liking! Did I mention they accept competitor's coupons! I love the Home Depot...maybe my outlook will also change for auto parts stores. read more

This is one of my favorite Home Depot locations. The staff is so friendly. It doesn't matter if I am looking for paint, lumber, or in the garden center I never have a hard time finding someone to help me. Today Miguel in the garden center was incredibly helpful. On top of being a great store, my pet Wheaten Terrier loves coming to Home Depot for her social training. The employees are always so sweet and give her love. read more

I can't say enough about the outstanding customer service found here. It is clearly a culture of kindness. We are in this store monthly and enjoy the vast product variety and the always-friendly staff. This week we had a product issue on a defective $300 item, and had to bring it back. It was a manufacturer's defect, no reflection on the store whatsoever. Home Depot and its professional staff treated us like gold and immediately replaced the item with zero hassle, respectful and with zero drama. It could not have been a better experience. Was here 2 times last week first time im at self checkout and after i scan my item the screen says attendant needed so i turn around and 3 of them are standing there talking finally one looks at me and i point to the screen and he says to me you scaned the wrong thing and goes back talking to his coworkers. I went to another register and same thing happen finally he comes over clears the register,they had wrong sticker over the bar code. I paid and left, the next day i go back but check out in the garden center. Bring my stuff to register she starts scanning it and one of my items no price on it, she says well this dont have a price like its my fault she works there she should make sure everything has a price tag on it. and stomps off to find out how much it cost. I've been into this location several times looking for the same tool and after checking online and see they have 4 or 5 in stock (not 1 or 2) I go in to make the purchase but no one can find the tool I'm looking for yet their own system says they have 4 in stock. I ask for a manager and they stumble to get one, then when they do they won't give any information for the store or district manager. Many departments from this store are very helpful but recently I've had a not great experience. The paint department seemed like a ghost town when I walked in. There was one employee standing in the aisle seeming to be zoning out looking at a section of the aisle. He was tall and skinny with black medium length hair. I waited at the order zone for what seemed like 5 minutes and he did not check to see if anyone was waiting at the paint desk. Another customer came over and waited with me for a while. After 10 minutes I decided to leave. I would expect someone working there to see it was busy in the store and frequently check for people. read more

No Bueno.... First I asked the guy at the customer service counter where something was and he didn't know, so he asked the greeter guy (who ignored me while he was on his phone) and he sent me to rows "30-32 somewhere in there" (most vague directions I ever received at Home Depot). While scouting around for the rows I noticed that half the store runs in sequence in one direction then doubles back in another direction. Very confusing layout. It's also laid out in hidden pockets (paint dept, etc...) so you wind up wondering into areas. Again... Very confusing. Well... I found two lady employees in the back while I was looking in rows 30-32 and they said tables ere outside. So after looking for 10 minutes I realized the two guys up front were just as lost as I was. (They should have a map for this place). I went outside, picked out a dirty little table with a big scratch on it and proceeded to the trash cans (they were next to the tables thank god. I didn't want to ask anymore directions). The trash cans were absolutely filthy. I've been buying these often lately for our satellite locations and have never seen them this dirty. Spider webs, etc... I got my clothes dirty just picking one out. I needed a broom too but the two displays next to the trash cans had no prices so I went hunting for them in the cleaning area. I can go on but my thumbs are tired. In a nutshell, this Home Depot is laid out differently and totally disorganized and dirty. Most of the staff (and there is more to the story) are not polite and lack basic knowledge of the facility. Only reason they got an extra star out of me was the lady in cleaning area asked me how I was doing politely and the cashier in the garden area was very nice. read more

My mom chose to get the carpet at Home Depot for her floors. No issues with the carpet, which is a 4 star there, but I give the service and attitudes of the installers a 1 star. It would have been a 0 star, but the lead installer did call my mom 15 minutes before they were done. There were 2 guys. The lead installer had the WORST attitude ever. I saw that he had the house to 75 F with the doors opened. I'm not meaning they can't open the doors to bring things in, but they were sitting around doing nothing with the doors opened so our house was cooling the outside. I should send them the electrical bill for being so inconsiderate. That's not the worst part. My mom had asked them if they could cut some of the leftover carpet to make a floor mat. Not hard for them, right? No. As the guy walked away to do something, he muttered some stuff in Spanish that I could not distinguish. He's thinking that since we are Chinese, we have no clue. Stupid guy because we do understand some - my daughter and I. Seriously, what my mom requested took maybe 1 minute to do. In my last review, even though the food wasn't a 5 star, the service was well above 5 star, so I gave the place a 5 star. If the carpet didn't look decent, I would have given the minimum 1 star. Hopefully they installed it correctly. Time will tell. read more

This is about the home depot company. They are against Veterans in that with a valid VA ID, still deny the discount that they say they give. I have Veteran on my AZ driver license, an VIC card issued by the VA itself and a copy of my DD214 and they say that I am not a recognized a Vet. I and my Vet friends are now boycotting home depot and going to Lowe's where they accept any of those ID's. read more

This Home Depot store seems more messed up than the one I typically shop at. However, I was looking for a welding machine to do some light metal fabrication. The employee I asked about it said they don't sell those and that the only option was to take the steel to a fabricator to get it welded. He didn't even know what tig welding was; hence the reason I then knew he was full crap. After searching for myself, low and behold Home Depot does carry welding machines just 2 isles over from where I was. Three different ones actually. If you're going to work in a store, you need to know what products your store carries. Or at the very least admit that you don't know and find another employee that can help! read more
