Came in to find a find a pressure washer. Went to the ryobi section, didnt see it. Asked someone who worked there that was near by and learned it was on the end cap. Lots to choose from. Then we realized we had no idea what any of the differences were so we found an associate. We hit the jackpot with our associate as she knew everything about them and was able to find a price that was in our budget while still meeting our needs. Garden manager is rude and unsure of products in his own section. Some vendors that do not even work for Home Depot were much more helpful.

I've been here dozens of times over the years, er, decades. Surely I've reviewed it? Either my memory is off or Yelp pulls stuff. Anyway. It's a standard Home Depot. Huge quantities of pretty much anything you need. I prefer Lowe's, and occasionally Menard's, but sometimes this is handy. And it's good enough. Today we went for the kid's project, which they do monthly and I just found out about. Go early- before it starts- because they are very popular. Staff were not particularly helpful, but they were overwhelmed. Get your kit, go to the table (in the lumber section,) and get building. Baby K loved it. They built and painted a butterfly house. Plus you get to keep the apron, and get stickers, a pin, etc. A good hour or so for the kids, and they learn some basic skills. Three stars, both for the store for selection/service/prices, and for the kid's event, which wasn't all it could have been. But hey, it's free, and if you have kids, definitely go- they'll love it. read more

The only time you will get an employee to help you is at closing, and then they are breathing down your neck to get out. Their products are very limited and kind of basic, Menards, bigger selection from A-to-Z.. As someone in the building industry/design it can be very frustrating trying to find what you need to finish a project. Cons: Of all the several times I have asked a employee for help they zero knowledge for this industry. Guess they are just shelf stockers? I paid $80 for a delivery of lumber. Left to take a sick dog to the vet and the wood was delivered when I was gone. After talking with the driver and giving her instruction as to where to unload the wood, I thought we were all set. I was wrong. I came home and the delivery was left on the side of my driveway in a water runoff from the yard. I'm sure there will be excuses about trees or something else. I have had semi delivery and had no problems with trees or the turn-around that is 15 feet further down the driveway If you have Home Depot deliver, BE THERE. IT IS ONLY A WINDOW FROM 6am to 8pm. We all have 14 hours we can spend waiting for them to show up when they "have time." Should have rented a truck and had friends help. Now I have to spend the afternoon moving wood. Had a BIG paint order (11-5-gallon buckets) filled at this location ON A SATURDAY. What a great experience! I called and spoke to Lisa to make sure they had the quantity I needed in stock. They did and she put my name on them so they would still be there when I got there. I arrived about an hour later and it was all hands on deck in the paint dept. as the employees formed an assembly line. Teddy and Jaime put the heavy buckets on the counter and Lisa, Katie and Sylvie tinted and shook the buckets and then they were returned to Teddy and Jaime. Even the PPG rep Patrick helped out by serving customers while the team was busy. Teddy and Jaime then offered to load the buckets into my vehicle for me. I was thankful for the help the young lady gave to me on 12/15 & 12/16 in the paint department. I had selected the swatch I wanted to have mixed, but the mixing system was down. Stopped in to the Appliances section of the store this afternoon looking for a new microwave that needs to be installed where our old one is located in the cabinets, so need to buy trim as well and hopefully have someone install for us. The employee working there told us "people don't really do that anymore" and we would have to go online to research the type of microwave we need and come back to him to then buy it. Really? You aren't there to help people find what they need? I went to your competitor and they were very willing to help us look at several options and get someone to our home next day to install. This store has lost my buisness!!! I would give them no stars if possible. First, we picked out appliances in July told they would be in by the time we closed on our home in October. As Maury says, that was a lie. And yes I understand the state of the world but communication & good customer service is key, and they have neither! Second, when they finally arrived & delivered whoever brought them was suppose to set up, test to make sure they work & take the trash...we'll delivery did not test the dishwasher because they left a plug in so it wasn't draining! Thirdly they did not put Teflon tape around the washer connectors causing some water behind the connectors on the wall to have a leak...getting good help with employees that know what they are doing is a hot commodity now a days! Customer service was no better. I was told to call one number that transferred me to another number that yet again transferred me to another saying call this other number monday!!!! Thankfully my husband was able to fix these issues! He even pulled the frig out to make sure that was connected right!! You'll be hard pressed to find an associate with a smile on their face. And if you come near closing time, you'd better have your running shoes on. Right at closing time they turn off the light, go down to one register, and only leave one door open for you to get out. It feels like they are pushing hard for consumers to do online shopping and to stay out of their store. Went to Lowe's first to buy my first washer and dryer, I felt mislead after finding out their "free next day delivery if in stock" was a lie. I was quoted more than a week out. All the rep said was "yes, our signs are misleading" I left and came to this Home Depot where I was helped by Mike to buy the same washer and dryer for less, and a 4 day earlier delivery date. He walked me through what I needed and what I didn't, gave me advice in the event of an issue with it, and let me know about the warranties. I started ordering from Home Depot about a year ago. I've had no problems until recently I tried to order and it would not take my email. It would not take my cell phone number and that they could not find my account. I read the account number from the billing over the phone to the credit office and they still could not find my account. I tried the chat function that was a big joke and didn't even work. I tried the corporate office. They said they were connecting me with the supervisor. I waited one hour no supervisor wasn't able to talk to anyone. I called credit department and some guy told me that he wasn't able to get anything on my account but just to be patient and he'd get me hooked up. You know who he hooked me up withthe department that ask you how your call went he totally disconnected me and hooked me up with the surveys. Now, if you're the type of person that really likes stress then this is for you. I say you do not want to try and order anything off of Home Depot they only have a two star credit for a reason I know that I'm getting my credit card through a different store and I'm never using Home Depot again. read more

3 guys showed up to deliver my dishwasher, neighbors witness them drop it out of the truck. Then they broke my water shutoff valve. Week later a plumber came out and fixed that. A week later the guys came out to finish the install just to find the thing is broken coming out of the box. They followed that up with telling us we had to wait lit Monday to talk to anybody that can help fix this. By then two different departments contacted us without any solutions other than booking us another install date two weeks later. We accepted that then the very next day we were told that somebody on their end cancelled THAT appointment for reasons unknown. So we canceled the order and asked for a refund only to be told that can only happen once the new/broken dishwasher was picked up from our house...in two more weeks. Done w them. read more

Due to my current work requirements I am literally in this store 5 to 10 times a week. I think all HD' s are pretty much the same. They have plenty of check out help. The men's room is 4 out of 5 bowls. I once left my wallet at home and I was still short of making a purchase after scraping together all the change out of my truck. The check out gal gave me a dollar of her money to pay the bill. She later refused me paying her back for fear that someone would see me give her money. That's an employee. read more

The reason I give this store high marks is because they are incredibly flexible when it comes to returns. If something breaks and you don't have original packaging, not a problem they will help you out. Because of this, we tend to make most of our large purchases here as we know we are covered If something goes wrong. Aside from returns, they usually have everything in stock and check out is a breeze. They have a decent plant selection in the summer as well as all sorts of mulch, bricks and outdoor needs. My only complaint is it's very busy so plan wisely during COVID time. read more

I was going to pick out flooring and didn't have a lot of time as I am a caregiver. The aisle was shut down as they were pulling some boxes off the shelves. Waited patiently and walked around a bit. Went back and stood against the gate that was left unlocked and angled in. The gentleman was still there just sitting on the forklift talking. He would not acknowledge but kept looking back at us. A few minutes later a lady came and asked if we could move. I said yes but could we know how much longer? At this point she seemed irritated and said it will take longer if we stand there. I've always received the best advice and encouragement about home and lawn projects I'm thinking about. For example-- my lawn has never been greener following the Home Depot workers advice!! Terrible experience with Home Depot. Last appliance I will ever purchase from Home Depot. Sales person never told us this was considered a custom order because the refrigerator was not in the store to pick up. We were not allowed to use our military discount. Not the most ethical delivery staff dropped off my refrigerator and left. Doors were not on straight called immediately and they said they would have a service person come out the following Tuesday. I called the night before to verify the service person, on hold for 30 min. and said yes they would be there. They never showed up and I took a day off work for this!!! Called again and they told me there was no service call logged and now have to take another day off of work so they can fix the door on the refrigerator. What a circus!! read more

Like most guys, I'm not a big fan of shopping, but when it comes to Home Depot, almost nothing else compares. I think that most of us have experienced Home Depot one time or another, right? If not, you don't know what you're missing (or you just don't like taking care of your home!) Compared to the other big Home Improvement company (Lowe's), Home Depot wins hands down. I live near both of them and have always found what I'm looking for at Home Depot before I'll find it at Lowe's. Plus, the brand quality and pricing is usually better at Home Depot. It's Home Depot... it is what it is... I don't get the whole thing between them and Lowe's not being able to carry the same brands. Department stores don't seem to have that problem... This is quick and convenient... I just wish the store was layed out more user friendly. No two stores are the same wich makes it an 'adventure' to find stuff sometimes. And I'm tired of being told "I'm not sure, I don't work in that area..." I went into Store #3828 on Hamilton Rd to get a new washing machine. I was told that any changes to delivery must be made within 48 hours of delivery. Delivery was scheduled 1 1/2 weeks out and I called to reschedule delivery within 2 days of purchase. They continued to call with the wrong delivery date. Then, when they came on the correct day, they couldn't install because they wanted to hot/ cold nozzles changed out. I went to the store and was told I had to pay an additional $200 for that. Then, after waiting another week, I finally got my washer. I called many times to complain about the many issues. I was told Home Depot would provide a refund. There idea not mine as I wanted them to move me to the front of the delivery line. I went to the store and the manager, Chris, refused to provide the refund of $100 or so and walked off. I had to call the 800# again to get compensated for Home Depot's constant mess ups. I refuse to shop in this store anymore because the manager is horrible. read more

I was pleasantly greeted when I walked through the door which threw me since I was expecting nothing from the service folks at Home Depot. I was thinking that maybe they are changing their company attitude towards customer service. This was my last trip to Home Depot ever. For the third time in a row, I walked around the floor looking for help for ONE item--Scott's Weed and Feed. After finding all the other Scott's products and weeding products, I went to the CS counter. He had no clue where it was, so he phoned someone to ask. He told me it was in aisle 27 or 28, fertilizers, way on the other side of the store. To no one's surprise, there was no aisle 27 on the other side of the store, so I walked all the way around to the far corner of the aisle I started in. There, in an aisle not marked. I found Scott's Weed and Feed in the corner. At no point did they offer an employee to take me there. Twenty minutes for one item. How does this huge store with no help remain in business? read more

They have gotten a lot better with asking you if they can assist you. There is always someone walking around, so even if I dont look lost, I can find or reach something quickly. However, I am not a fan of the salesmen that walk around and posing as people who care about your shopping experience but really want to book an appointment to replace my wooden kitchen cabinets with vinyl ones. As long as that promotion is going on, I shall not make eye contact with anyone carrying a clipboard. Every time I've been there for any length of time this summer, someone has approached me asking if I am a homeowner. Not cool. They fixed the military discount problem. I like that you can order things online and have them delivered to the back of your car outside. I wish that they would give the military discount for online orders. Spring in the garden center is mayhem. Many people available to help out during regular business hours, less in off peak hours. The idea of having a pro available to help you, only works during those peak hours. For the best visit possible, bring photos, measurements, or even the broken items that you need to replace. That will save you multiple visits. Have a plan, stick to the plan! read more

First off, I am not a fan of hardware stores. I'm not a do it yourself person. So I only go when I absolutely have to. That being said, we have always had wonderful service here. Employees will take the time to find exactly what we need without making us feel rushed. On our most recent visit we wanted to price window blinds. And of course ours needed to be special cut. The man working in that department actually remembered us from a previous visit which was nice. He spent time with us going over our needs and once we decided on what we wanted, he told us that he would call when blinds were ready. He actually called when we were pulling out of the parking lot! During the derecho of July 2012 where the immediate vicinity lost power for 8 days, this Depot stayed up and running, pulled all emergency necessities to the front and assisted with on-line ordering when elements were not readily available. People were nice even though it was scorchingly hot. Major kudos! read more

We ordered carpet in May 2019 and installation was scheduled very timely and was installed. In August we found that the seam was separating and called home depot and they quickly scheduled a repair. The repair was done extremely poorly so they had to come out yet another time to trim the repair. When they did the trimming the cut it too short and not enough carpet was left to reach the wall. A supervisor had to come out yet another time and they determined that the carpet needed replaced. The came back an additional 4 times to finally get the carpet installed correctly. 3 times in a row they came back and the "new" carpet that they had ordered was too short for our space. We finally received a successful installation in late November. It took 4 months and over 6 trips (and 6 days off work) to get this repair job correct! read more

The best word to describe The Home Depot is inconsistent. I live just a few miles from this location and visit a few times a year to pick up maintenance items for the home or propane for the gas grill. Every single time that I go, one person impresses me by either going out of the way to greet or assist me. Unfortunately, during nearly every visit, I'm disappointed by an employee. Here is the most recent example. Last Saturday morning, I decided to purchase a second propane tank for the grill. I was having a few friends over and had a bad feeling I would run out of gas 1/2 way through grilling the chicken sausage. I parked the car and headed into the store. As soon as I stepped over the threshold, I was greeted. The employee had a huge smile on his face and seemed genuinely happy. I headed to the cash register where the lines were reasonable (1-3 customers deep). I waited just a few minutes and was then assisted by another exceptionally nice team member. I took my receipt and headed to the car. I pulled the car up to the curb in front of the propane tanks. There was a gentleman standing there dressed in the infamous Home Depot orange apron. I attempted to hand him my receipt and said I had just purchased a propane tank. With a mouth full of food, the employee pointed to his name tag and stated he worked on air conditioners and was just outside eating a snack. OK. I could have done without seeing his half chewed food, but I understand he wasn't the right person to help. Where the disappointment came in was his lack of offering to get me any assistance. I must have had a confused look on my face because he told me that I could just go inside and find somebody to help me. Ah, ok. I guess I can. Ignore the fact that my car is still running and blocking part of your sidewalk. I proceeded to turn off my car, lock the doors, and head back inside to seek assistance. Ultimately, I did get my tank of gas, but an offer of help from the cookie monster out front may have earned The Home Depot a fourth star. read more

The Home Depot is unfortunately convenient. I would prefer a friendlier, customer oriented hardware store. My biggest complaint is the self check out lanes. They are fine for a couple small items or for grocery stores, but when you're buying large items, it's a pain in the ass. It wouldn't be as bad if they at least had cashier lanes open and shoppers could have a choice. This store never has cashiers open except the contractor lane. Today at the self check out, my transaction was stopped as I was informed I had to show ID to buy paint. Self check out without an option not to use it, is bad customer service. read more

We purchased a new refrigerator that ceased cooling the same night it was delivered. The store turned us over to the delivery service who turned us back to the manufacturer for a service call. We did not by a refurbished refrigerator, we bought a new one! Yet the store will not talk to us about getting a new refrigerator that actually works. Do NOT buy from this store. Especially for any thing you cannot carry back to the store to return it. Yelp needs to have an option for something less than 1 Star. read more
