Simply put, this has got to be the worst Home Depot on the planet. The pm shift apparently has no manager, and is ran by a bunch of guys who look like the character "Tuko" from The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly. A bunch of clueless, bearded, nomadic looking fools who neither care to help nor put any energy towards the endeavor. . The day started when I called up a Home Depot number to make a reservation to rent a dehumidifier which can be used to effectively remove water from your carpets etc. No matter how hard your carpet guy tries to get the water out, even if it seems like it's practically dry you can bet there's usually some liquid that you'd be best getting rid of-hence the reason for a dehumidifier. I called and made a reservation a full week in advance. The day before I was set to pick up the machine, I knew things were off to a bad start when I got a phone call from a gentleman from this particular stores rental department saying the one that I initially wanted was unavailable. But, me being flexible, I went ahead and settled for one that may even have been a better match since it was somewhat smaller and I have a relatively small car. So far we're still looking good. After leaving the house and coming back after 2 hours of running around the city I noticed there were large puddles of water on the floor around the dehumidifier itself. The water is supposed to travel through a plastic hose and lead the water to empty out in a bucket or a destination of your choice like a sink. Needless to say, while the machine itself was making noise like it was running, it still was not working since the plastic hose portion was not collecting the water and running it through the proper end where would come out in a bucket that I had already sat down. Instead the water just pooled under the machine itself. So long story short, the dehumidifier didn't work. Furious, I set back to return the machine. This is where it got really interesting. Coming back to this home Depot at night is like going through a deserted and abandoned mine. This Home Depot (at least during this weekday during the evening hours) is ran by a bunch of zeros, who have no customer service skills whatsoever. Again, kindly reference the caracter of Tuko from the Good the Bad and the Ugly! If you cared for that classic movie at all and want a little bit of nostalgia, then by all means come visit the night crew. You'll be asking for at least six autographs-that is, if you can get their attention for even 30 seconds. The night shift had absolutely no manager working, and I literally went from one bearded Tuko to the next asking for a manager particularly in the rental return section of the store. They proceeded to shrug their shoulders collectively, as I finally went to the complete opposite end of the store and finally saw another lost soul in their dreaded orange uniform who actually took a minute of her time to call a manager. I asked this individual to kindly have them meet me at the rental return section. After sitting in the empty rental return part of the store for nearly 15 minutes, a woman named Nury Santos finally showed up. You would swear that she was doing me some kind of a favor. Her attitude and lack of attentiveness was matched and par for course with the rest of the "bearded geniuses" that she worked alongside with during this p.m. shift at this particular hellhole of a store. She indicated that she is an assistant manager there. I informed her that since the machine didn't work, I felt that I should not have to pay for the rental. She was a hard ass though and insisted on charging me "something". In fact, those were her exact words. "Sir I have to charge you something for it". Conclusion: Do yourself, family, and friends a solid one and have them avoid this store at the cost of their dollars as well as their time. On the other hand, if it's an authentic trip back into time to see Tuko from The Good the bad and the Ugly then by all means tell them to come on down. Like the character in the movie, I'm sure they'll be subjected to all forms of trickery, scheming, staring, then downright disinterest. read more

Best service hands down. As a contractor I like to frequent this store. Super convenient access to my job sites. The Store Manager is always available on the floor interacting with customers. Last visit I came in, was greeted by Jaime and Esteban on the garden side of the store. Got advice on a new battery powered blower and trimmer combination. Had all my questions answered about the turf builder and grass seeds. As I was walked over to the Pro desk I was checked out by Emily who was smiling the whole time. She helped me use my pro rewards to save money on my purchase. On the way out Cesar informed me of the fencing program as I don't do fencing and was thinking about getting one for my next project. You've been offered to purchase the sample one and she said no. As I'm walking away this young gentleman named John asked if I needed a help I explained to him the situation and he was able to help me. I am 75 with CHF. It is difficilt for me to walk very far and for very long. Every employee at this Home Depot is more than just helpful to me. I have a small 5 unit apartment in Inglewood. When I have a vacancy, I will always need something, carpeting, or new floors in the kitchen and or bathroom, or plumbing & paint issues. There is always someone to write up my order, take my payment and help me to my car. The place is always neat & clean. No safety issues. No obsticles on the floor. I had the best experience at this location on 7/23. I placed an online order and it was ready in about 20 mins. I received a call telling me my order was ready for pick up. When I arrived they came out so quickly! Something unheard of at this specific location! Two gentlemen Danny and Oscar came out and loaded my car! They were so polite and professional. I couldn't believe I was at the Inglewood store! I Had stopped coming here and would drive to the Hawthorne location because of how horrible the customer service was. I went inside and purchased more things for my home remolding and I was greeted by everyone I walked by! Store was clean and neat! Oscar (supervisor) even went out of his way to check the back for red mulch that appeared to be out of stock! He came back with 6 bags for me and even helped me load them in my truck! The lady at the front desk accused him of stealing and refused his return until he requested to speak to a manager. The manager withheld the woman's name and didn't even apologize for the accusations or her behavior. Wrongfully accusing someone of stealing has to be a fireable offense, a shame they hid their names. read more

They have so many people loitering and selling shit and trying to force you to take them home for work. The front row parking spaces are being taken by illegal vendors selling crap out of the back of their cars. On 02/01/25, Saturday evening approximately 5:20 pm , i was welcomed, assisted and treated like the contractor that I am by only one of many employees. This employee is a young man by the name of Adam who solely deserves my 5 star rating. He went above and beyond to not only assist me but any and all customers that he encountered by walking up and down each isle with a great attitude and a highly motivated drive. This employee is amazing unlike the rest of the employees who were just plain rude, unprofessional and way too busy chatting with other employees to even acknowledge the fact that customers were present and not even being greeted as they walked through the doors to give this place their business. As a pro member of the Home Depot chain and a licensed contractor I would only shop here out of convenience and default but never by choice until all managers are removed and replaced with more efficient good young men and women who carry themselves like Adam who leads by example. This Home Depot tends to be better stocked, more organized and cleaner than most of the other Home Depot's in the area. I needed a specific electrical part for a light fan combination and they had one that would work although it wasn't the exact one that I wanted it still was good enough. I went to Home Depot in hopes of looking at a trash compactor before purchasing it. Marina Del Rey is closer to my home but the staff was so rude! They told me to just order from home and would not answer any of my questions regarding delivery and installation! I decided to check if Inglewood had some display models available but they also did not. However, Jazmine was so helpful and welcoming. She placed the order for me and confirmed that it could not be installed but I could have it delivered for a small fee. Returning a faulty carpet shampooer was met with the most unprofessional display coming from the Assistant Manager Miguel, at this location. The carpet shampooer had left a very wet mess while trying to use it. Upon inspection it was clear it was not clean from the previous user. Upon return of the shampooer I had shared my dissatisfying experience with the cashier and wanted a refund for the rental as it did not do as promised and had created a mess along with extra time taken away for clean up. The cashier said that all they could offer was a discount for future purchases/rentals. I asked for a manager and Assistant Manager Miguel came out. Right off the bat, he had come with a very surly, aggressive & dismissive attitude. Explaining to him what I had just explained to the cashier was met with an almost childish reaction of looking away from me, scoffs and an eventual aggressive dismissal of what I had to say. I had taken photos to show upon the return and Miguel would simply dismiss them. Telling me I had two options, either he could take me to collections if I didn't want to pay (I had already paid the deposit, and my card was on file), he had asked the cashier how much it was that I would be getting charged. The deposit hold on my card was $50. The amount that I was to be charged was $32. After the cashier told him it would be $32, he let out another childish scoff and declared " It's not even worth it. Give him his money back." Looking at my bank statement today, the originally pending deposit amount has now gone through as a $50 charge. There is no return pending for the $50 deposit. At this point I consider this to be one of the worst experiences coming from anybody in customer service. I will no longer return to The Home Depot after this fiasco. Even if there are disagreements, respect goes a long way. There was none to be had here. read more

Today I ordered a $200.00 kitchen faucet, urgently needed for my family. I was told it would be ready for pickup late today at the Inglewood store. I called at 6:30 PM and was told it would be ready by 7:30 PM. I called to verify at 7:40 PM, then was told the items was not even in stock! A customer service person said they will cancel my order, but refund would "take 3-5 days". When I called again to speak to the manager, the customer service person said "she was the manager" and would only apologize, but could not help otherwise. I then ordered the same item from Home Depot at a different location, and had to PAY FOR IT AGAIN! I was told they would not transfer my payment to a different store which had the item in stock. This is very frustrating, and I was not offered anything but "an apology". As a frequent customer of Home Depot, I am quite upset, as I now have to wait for my refund. In addition I can't even use my kitchen! I think Home Depot should do better. read more
