Home Depot save the day today. We typically don't shop here because they are fairly overpriced, but we were in a pickle today and Home Depot came through . We purchased a golf cart and we didn't have a way to get it into the back of our truck to transport at home. We made a quick call to Home Depot and found out that we could rent a ramp for just 14 bucks for four hours. We also noticed that they rent a large variety of equipment from water pressure to carpet cleaner , everything you need for a home project without having to spend a ton of money on things you might not use that often. This place also has propane tanks. You can make a key and get Primo water as well. read more

Terrible experience !! I went to Home Depot to buy a bunch of soil bags, flowers, seeds, twine, stakes, herbs. I over bought soil bags and lost the receipt. My fault. I tried to return 2 bags the same day and management couldn't find my exact order I described every item. Then they asked for my ID, typed something in or scanned, not sure. And say I've been denied return. Ok my mind is blown. That young lady in the garden section just sold me all this stuff and I want to return two bags eight dollars a pop. What is the big deal? They say maybe i've returned too many items before. 100% I've never returned an item at Home Depot or really anywhere that I can remember. 100% I never shop at Home Depot unless it's under a pro account. I sometimes work for which isn't even linked to my name. Management couldn't help really pathetic job done by Home Depot. I tried to call the next day and got put on hold, call dropped after 6 minutes. I call back and still no luck reaching a manager once put on hold. The consistency of dysfunctional employees who provided the worst customer experience I've ever had, is very apparent at this Home Depot. I got treated like a crackhead, when I'm trying to return to giant bags of soil eight dollars each. I spent hundreds lol. I just have no use room for these I'm already keeping one extra bag. I stopped by this Home Depot to pick up some pre‑cut wood for a pantry project. One of my shelves had cracked, and I wanted to replace it and reorganize my kitchen a bit. I already had my measurements, but I needed the boards cut down, so I headed to the lumber area. Damien, who was working in lumber that day, was incredibly helpful. He walked me through a few different wood options and even suggested the white pre‑painted boards, which ended up being perfect since they match the rest of my pantry. He was professional, patient, and made the whole process easy. I also want to give a shoutout to Katie and Yuli in the Pro Department. I accidentally went to their counter instead of regular checkout, but they were super friendly and didn't make me feel out of place at all. They even told me about Home Depot's loyalty program -- I had no idea it existed, and you don't need to be a contractor to sign up. Discounts and rewards are always a win in my book. They almost never let me down when so need something. They always seem to be in stock and the price is always a little better than Lowe's. The customer service had faltered over the past many years until recently when they seem to have refocused on it and made it a priority again, like it was in the early to late 80's Anyway, they have a couple of grills I'm eyeballing because I haven't really had one in nearly 10 years but would like to get back into grilling and BBQ'ing. I am a disabled person using a walker to walk with. I have a basket on the front of my Walker to hold things for me so they don't fall from my hand. This makes it difficult to open doors that are not Ada capable. This particular home Depot does not have an ADA door opener and the door was super heavy and nobody was able to help open the door for me. In a result the door slammed on my Walker pushed me back, broke my basket and knocked me back a few steps. I alerted the customer service representative but she said that she will note it down but I have yet to hear from anybody or body regarding the situation. read more

When I drop off material to jobsites, we often have stuff missing. So rather than head back to the shop, I usually find myself at a local Home Depot. I've been to enough that I can rank them against each other. They're mostly consistent. They're mostly everything I need in a hardware shop. This location was great. This visit to this location had me seeking the expertise of Erich in hardware. I brought him a set of hardware (bolts, nuts, washers) and asked him to please duplicate it. BAM. Took him all of 5 minutes to get me everything I needed and I was on my merry way. I also gotta give a shout out to Sara who was helping me with self checkout. Apparently I was lucky enough to pick the most temperamental self-check out machine. Yay me. She watched from afar and jumped on it as soon as she saw me struggle with making my payment. Bonus points for her being on top of it and helping out before I even had a chance to turn around and look for help. There are a number of stores much closer to me than Countryclub. If I have the time I greatly prefer this location. A lot has changed since they opened their first locations. Countryclub for this shopper is the best mix. Employees have the winning attitude I felt I observed more than 4 decades ago. I believe that enhances their ability to sustain a great mixture. I appreciate the entire location. With personnel advice I feel I have been able to make better choices. At this location I have seen brand A and B but only B at a competitor 's location and A, a better choice. My thinking, a wider potential selection. Pricing is justified through service. At other locations I just go. With Countryclub I approach anticipating an enjoyable and positive outcome. read more

I just want to praise the store manager, Tyler Z., the garden center manager, Jake, and service desk clerk, Todd. They went above and beyond in helping me. This may seem like a small thing, but it was big to me. I had purchased two Peace Lilies at another Home Depot for my parents upcoming Memorial Service. I found the Peace Lilies at this particular store fuller and healthier looking. They exchanged the two I purchased from the other store and gave me three for the same price. They did not have to do this. But out of the kindness of their hearts and circumstances under which I needed the plants, it is so much appreciated. It is rare to find such incredible customer service these days, let alone people who give you the time of day to listen and do what they can to meet your needs. I highly recommend the store. I came to Home Depot today, looking for several things for a big project I had going on and in the process of leaving I noticed that I needed to get a new cell phone holder and upon looking for one I asked several people for help and nobody could locate what I was looking for after 20 minutes of searching. I finally decided to ask someone that the front of the checkout and the kid named Timothy proceeded to help me find what I needed within seconds this kid is awesome and deserves to be in a much better position than what he is now great smile, great attitude he rocks. read more

Cashiers are awesome. I had to return an online purchase due to malfunction and the lead n staff worked expediently to get me a great result. The problem is that the numbers n products on their database is way off. The computer was saying O items in store and I walked out to some isles and found about 7 on the floor in the locked cabinet. So the cashiers called for pick up. I tell you the dude on the floor dragged his feet lacked 100% customer service skills and stunk like a sewer!!!! I told the cashier uggg he smells!!!! FULLY READ PLEASE HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE NEVER AGAIN! I ordered a microwave online paid to have it delivered between 6-8 it said. About 5:15 I receive a text and email saying an issue need to reschedule delivery so I call and I advise I'm working it needs to be a quick call which they didn't care. I was transferred the person I was transferred to had no idea what was going on so had to repeat everything telling me it had to be signed for. No where it said I had to suing for That should be advised so I could be more alert to listen for the delivery but never told. No text nothing they were on there way. I work 15 hour days and 2 miles from the Home Depot. It took forever on the phone after I advised working not once but twice. Having to sign for it way too much so I cancelled the order. This is the only Home Depot I have been to where the person working in the department knew what they were talking about within that department. I wish I could remember the gentleman's name, I can't. I bought doors to replace three of the doors in the hallway at my house and went to Home Depot to see if they drilled the holes for the door knobs and hinge spots. The person in the doors and windows department said Home Depot does not but if I have a drill I can do it myself and he showed me the additional tools I would need and explain to me how to do it. He was extremely helpful and because I picked up the doors for so cheap I bought the tools totaling about $60 making it where I can replace three doors in my house for $120 instead of $120 each. I went back about a week later to get help with outlets because none of my kitchen outlets are GFCI and the gentleman working in electric that day was very helpful explaining 15 amp 20 amp and how if I can find where the powerline starts I only need to replace that outlet. read more

Well now home depot won't help. Service said they don't service that rural area but every so often. So we bought brand new appliance and are waiting over a week to get broken brand new appliances fixed. I called home depot because I thought they were better than they are. They said there was nothing they could do good bye. Lesson learn. I saved 20.00 per appliance going to home depot. Lesson learned. I am very disappointed. read more

I needed two items tonight. I had no idea where to even look for them, honestly I didn't even know what one of them was even called. I found a staff to help, he directed me to the exact aisle I needed, I found my first item. But the second was elusive. So I sought out another staff member and tried my best to describe the item. Would you know he knew what it was called and exactly where it was! I found it in about 30 seconds. Wow they are good!!! Plus I got a third item I needed for this project, and now I can go home and start working on it once again. I'm so happy. Thank you for knowing your stuff Home Depot. I just arrived home from this Home Depot and had the experiencing of seeing gratitude for the staff. Alexia had a cart full of goodies, water, juices, and so many different snacks I could not see them all and the cart was decorated so brightly, I thought I had missed a holiday. It was great to see so many smiles (I was offered a snack, but it was for the staff - thank you). It seemed to be a surprise for everyone as a few staff gathered. The store was not busy and it was close to Noon. I am sure whose idea this was, but what a great gift of gratitude. Side note: I did take a picture, but need to figure out how to upload the picture). So far my experience has been terrible. I ordered a vanity for my bathroom when I got it in and unboxed it.in my bathroom , it was the wrong one. So then I got a refund and returned the wrong vanity and since I ordered it online, I went directly to a store to re-order. I was told at the store that when they delivered it, they would put it in the bathroom where I had it in the first place. When delivery guys get here they tell me they're only gonna put it in the garage and no further. When a manager that I talked to told me that they would put it back in the bathroom at no charge. I have been a customer at Home Depot for decades and I'm about ready to switch to a different store because I'm not happy with the service I've been getting lately. I sent it back and now I have to go through the whole process again to try and get the vanity for the third time now. Home Depot better wake up is it gonna be losing customers but this is the kind of service that we got. Not sure about all of the negative reviews for Home Depot locations. I typically get in, find what I need, pay, and get out. If I need help, I can usually find someone relatively quickly and have had a good success rate with helpful and friendly. I am very disappointed in my home depo experience. My wife and I went there this evening to pick out a refrigerator. During our shopping, we were checking out a refrigerator which was in one of the main isles. An employee who were moving pallets made 7-8 trips of which we had to keep moving. He finally said that we would not likely win against his marching. How different our experience would have been if he could have waited the 5 or 10 minutes to look at the selection. There are lots of stores who carry refrigerators. We will likely make our purchase at Loews. Bad location.... Employees untrained and not helpful by any means. Registers are short of help, wood stripping machine is broken. Inventory is short, staff is rude and do not know how to manage multi customers in front of them. This location is dirty and in desperate need of help. I'd stay away from this location by all means. Go to Lowes. It's actually cheaper and the product is better, as well as the locations are cleaner. Goodbye, Home Depot. Our business will no longer shop with you. What an awful team of people. We went to rent a truck (yes, they had one available), got the stuff that we needed, which took about an hour, and when we returned to the customer service desk, after waiting a bit more, they told us that we had to wait 2 more hours, because they were so busy, that they did not have time for the customers. Aside from that, we wanted a piece of wood cut to certain measurements, but when I asked to cut 8" of, they told me that their manager's policy was not to cut anything under 12". If I am paying for the whole piece of wood, why could it be cut? Never in so many years of being a customer, did I hear that. Employees are not there to help. They just pass you, you have to chase them to get help. That's very typical at HD. read more

I was asking to come in for a interview was told the position I was applying for did not suit me and was offered to work in a nothing department. 2 days later was called and said that the position that I was offered was not suitable for me and I would be better at a cashier position and had to go and apply online line for that.lol. And was told the 2 position I was offered was given to someone else and it's nothing they can do to go and refresh my application. I just don't understand what that was all about. The person who very rude and was talking to me very unprofessional and was not concerned about me getting a job or not. I really would like to speak to someone about the issue and it's very upset.
