i went to the hd store to purchase some glue to repair a broken plastic bin inside my lg refridgerator, which lg wanted to charge me $98 to replace. the glue products are located in the paint department. the young man working there not only advised me which glue would work best but went so far as to actually repair the plastic bin for me. i was so grateful and appreciative of his helping me going very much above and beyond what would have been just a minimal transaction. he left a lasting impression making me a forever supportive customer of home depot and their staff read more

I love this store and my favorite person is Ina at the very front of the store managing Check Out, Etc. Saying that I'm not impressed with the staff in Kitchen Design Area, first of all I had to get 2 associates to track someone down, Adele wasn't available so Regie is assisting us, Now Donna has come to assist her, unbelievable???? I know good associates are hard to find, I'm actually assisting her once she got on-line. Regie did the best she could but a suggestion is to have someone in that Department at all times or someone to assist and make recommendations, not just Adele will be in tomorrow, when in fact she wasn't, so I will go back Saturday am to try and catch her. read more

Honestly this is a hit or miss. I go back and forth between Lowe's and this HD as they are right across the street from each other. But this location seems to be either adequately staffed and I'm able to get the help I need right away or they are short staffed and there's nobody around to help answer questions or guide me in the right direction. They typically always have what I'm looking for but sometimes I have to check an ACE hardware store instead. This HD usually has a lot of options and tends to have really good deals around the holiday/Black Friday time. This is my neighborhood HD so I come here often. I've had a horrible time trying to get anyone to follow through with ordering new doors for my patio. They sent someone out to measure on Jan 22 and said I would hear from them in 2-3 days to come in and look at options. After a week had passed I called them and was told that they didn't receive the measurements and they would check and call me back. No one ever called again so a week later, I went in and was told they would request them again right then. The measurements came in and I knew from an email they had received them. Again , no call so I went in again. They said they would write up prices for the options I was interested in and send them to me tomorrow. That was a week ago now, and absolutely no email again and no tollowup from them. At this point I want my money back and I'll go somewhere else with actual service. It's been since January 12th and still no estimates. I don't think they actually want the business. read more

So when I go up to the checkout with a cart full of things and 3 year old I need to watch and ask the 18 year old broccoli headed kid if there's a way for me to scan something to purchase a few bags of salt and then he says "oh yeah the bags have bar codes on them you can scan those." I clearly was asking if there's was a way to scan something so I didn't have to go get the bags then come back to check out. Not only was that not offered but he just stared at me while I went to grab my own bag of salt then walk back to the register to scan it. It's obviously not his responsibility but dammit man, customer service is just non existent these days. I've been working since I was 14 years old and the first thing I would've done when then was ask to either grab a bag for them or bring their cart over to the salt and load it up with however many bags they needed. It's just crazy to me how lazy people have become. It also looks bad on the manager of these places too. How is this not one of the first things you tell your employees to do? Like customer service is key over everything else. Like actually earn your money. Don't just stand there and take up space. Anyone can say hello or thank you. I bought six LED Industrial HIgh Bay Lights made by Commerical Electric from this Home Depot store three years ago. Since then I've had two burn out. Very unhappy with these lights. They have a 5 year warranty. The first one burned out earlier this year. Even though I didn't have a receipt (which they don't last anyway) I was able to return it to this Home Depot store and they let me swap out the bad light for a new one. I went back today to the same store to swap out the second bad light and got turned down due to not having a receipt. They said that I had to deal directly with Commercial Electric. I don't have any confidence they will honor the warranty since I don't have a receipt. What irritates me is that receipts given out these days don't last and become unreadable after a few months. Large location. This is one on the nicest Home Depots I have been to. Everything form the outside facade to the greenhouse-ish area was elevated higher than a typical Home Depot. Garden center was a little different than other Home Depots I have visited. There is the typical outdoor garden center. There is also a greenhouse-ish area. I say "ish" because the area doesn't have a glass roof. This area has many of the plants typically found in their indoor garden centers, potting soil and pots. Having it like this allows for more seasonal items inside. Selection was what one typically expects to find at The Home Depot. Employees were helpful. One pointed us in the right direction. In two other departments we were asked if we needed help. At checkout we used the self checkout option. read more

One of my favorite Home Depots. Last year our local Home Depot canceled our Christmas light order and we were without. We made do and lined the house with strands with large bulbs to get by. I almost waited too long this year again! Our local location only had 12 boxes left. Concerned about accurate inventory I placed my order out of the North Peoria location so I was hopefully guaranteeing availability. I received my email and my order was ready in a locker. If your getting a lot of items make sure to bring a cart with you to pick up. Spscious clean Home Depot. Super friendly employees. Not as busy as our local location. This must be the holy grail of Home Depot's. First time in my life that I didn't feel crazy anxiety in the parking lot alone. Usually it's a nightmare to even get to it...no matter location. The parking lot was easy to maneuver, people were nice and their garden center was to die for. I came looking for a certain paver for my backyard because we miscalculated after already visiting two other HD. Unfortunately again to no avail. Seems this is a popular paver. This location is a bit out of my way, but for the ease in and out with no traffic, crazy drivers or parking issues I'd come more often. read more

On service. Since we couldn't get anyone to help us, we went home and ordered on line. What a huge mistake! They use a 3rd party delivery called "ONTRAC". ONTRAC's customer service told us our delivery window was from 10 am to 9pm and there was nothing else they could do for us. Their website asks for your tracking number. Entered the tracking number and it states "out for delivery". I did that at 10am, 12pm , 2pm, 3:45pm...just states out for delivery. I blame Home Depot for using such a shoddy, fly by night delivery company. Shame on you Home Depot. read more

One star because I wanted to get my point across. Why pretend you have something for sale, we pay and we never get it. We bought a new grill and was told it would be here on 4/19/25. Its now 6:39 PM and no grill, no call and a bunch of people who just don't care late in the day. Why would the delivery team REJECT the delivery? The so called manager hung up on me because she couldn't handle an upset customer, but she would be angry too if this happened to her! Do they want to sell product? I don't think so. Its horrible that they can't even text you or call you to let you know, hey, I know its been 8 hrs of waiting but we aren't coming! This tool repair shop is horrible, took 2 blowers in for repairs witch one was all really fixed they put a new pull rope on it still won't work, the other one just a cleaning and spark plug, took them in on 1/21/23 , never a phone call we had to call them every time, picked them up today mechanic Mark said he couldn't figure out the one they put a pull rope on, and the other said that they rebuilt the carburetor, but no spark plug. They both looked like they were never touched, the one that they supposedly rebuilt the carburetor won't even start. Writing this review on behalf of my mother in law. She went to Home Depot with intention of renovating her kitchen. She selected all of her cabinets, countertop, etc out and paid in February 2021. It is now September 2021 and the kitchen is still not completed. My mother in law is tough as nails and had consistently pleaded with Home Depot to get the job done. And I have never seen her so distraught. Issues: zero communication, she would call Home Depot to get updates would pass her off. She would go to the store to be able to talk to someone to try and get an update on when her kitchen would be worked on. Workers showing up without knowing what they're doing, without supplies, tools - claiming they can't work on the kitchen. Ripped out her existing backsplash; it was supposed to remain in place. Was without a sink for 4 months for who knows why. She was washing dishes in her bath tub. Countertop not installed appropriately, cabinets not installed appropriately (gaps, warping, etc). The biggest issue is the communication, there was none, when there was they would blow smoke up you know where. Home Depot would claim not their fault that contractors weren't getting things done. Home Depot partnered with the contractors, received a huge check; it is their responsibility to make sure the job is done right and in a timely fashion. Do not work through Home Depot unless you have tons of time to kill and don't care to use whatever room you are paying them to remodel. read more

I am deeply concerned with the service I received at the store 0424 on Saturday about an installation order I placed. So wanted to see whom should I approach for my grievance and after a lot of research I couldn't get any way to reach out to supervisors or concerned authorities of homedepot. Its about order a kitchen countertop installation service order I placed with associate at Lake Pleasant-AZ Home Depot. I got this order placed with Michael Barlowe, the kitchen designer I wanted to order a kitchen countertop installation service. Chose a granite and talked to MIchael on the process. He asked me to pay the total money as per the estimates if i need to visit Arizona Tile showroom to choose and hold granite slabs for my project. I paid him $5263.75 on the spot. And when I as supposed to get all the copies of agreement, he did not. And insisted me to wait till 3 business days for the order to process and some contractor to call me to fix and appointment for measurement. He said as I have paid the entire estimate, I can now visit Slabs showroom to choose one. I drove 45 miles one side to the showroom to choose slabs, and then I was not allowed to do so since the representative there confirmed that there are many cases like mine where home depot associate asks customer and choose slabs just after payment and even before homedepot contacts them with my order. The biggest catch is I found the copies of agreement in my email that says that the cancellation period of agreement is 3 business days - and that the home depot agent asked me to give as a buffer for appointment fixation - a total lie/ switch and bait on the face of customer. Now I saw that he intentionally didnt give me the print outs of complete agreement that he got me signed on some false pretext. Then I got a call from a very very badly reviewed fabrication company asking me time to fix an apt for measurements. Now from that time I am trying to reach home depot on the matter to at least get a good reputed contractor company to take care of my project - as I know there is not just 1 contractor that works with homedepot and - to this time there is no response from anyone on the store either - with the associate who worked up all this for me is not available in store today - is what I got to know from store many times. I have been a customer with homedepot since i can recollect off but this is what I am getting in return. read more

Love this Home Depot. It is way bigger than other ones I've been to. It has everything including tool rental at this location. Every time I go the staff is always friendly. When you walk by them they say Hi and ask if you need help. About half the time I go I need help, so that is nice not needing to chase people down. The garden area is big and full of lots of plants. The self-checkouts are always nice to get out quickly. My only real complaint with Home Depot is every one is laid out differently. So, when you go to a new one for the first time, you run around trying to figure out where stuff is. lol.... I have this one down now. read more

I have to share my amazing experience today. But let me start with this. I've been going to the other big box DIY store (probably to harsh of a potty word for this forum...LOL!), because I always felt I can't get any help at Home Depot. And when I could find someone, they acted inconvenienced. Anyhow, I accidentally ended up at HD today because I forgot to turn right. So I though "what the hay, I only need 2 things." I didn't feel like going back out into traffic to go to the other place. As I walk into the garden center entrance, I'm quickly and pleasantly greeted by Tyler. He asked if he could help me with anything. I asked where I could find pumps and weed killer. He instructed me exactly where to go with simple and correct instructions. I got right to it piece of cake. While I was there, I realized I was in over my head on selections. I walked all the way back to Tyler and asked if there's anyone that can assist me with weed killers. A guest is simultaneously walking up to ring out. Tyler can't leave the area as he is the only one tending that entrance and register. So, Tyler helped them while calling someone he believed could help. He quickly said Dominic would meet me over there. Now, let me note that Tyler got no hesitation from Dominic on the phone. It was a super quick decision for Dominic to go over to weed killers. So I headed back to weed killers. I didn't wait more than 2 minutes for Dominic to show, and I though I'd be waiting at least 5-10 minutes. He even had someone else needing his help as he walked. He very politely with eye contact asked the guest to give him just a few minutes while he helped me. With 100% of his attention and no feeling of being rushed, he guided me through my selection. I left feeling super confident with my selection. He then told me to have a nice day and immediately went to help the other guest. Let's be honest. You can't be a HD employee and not get pulled by guests every which way as you walk from one point to another. He was just so gracious about it and had a smile on his face the whole time. You almost felt as though you made his day. I went back to the garden center register to ring out. Tyler immediately asked if Dominic helped me. I said yes and that he was so nice. Tyler rung me up with a smile. I then told Tyler that he and Dominic really changed my long-time opinion of HD. That and the whole stereo-type that millennials struggle to deliver and understand good customer service. Mind you I have 20 and 22 year old sons that get it as well. Tyler and Dominic blew me away with their customer service. I just had to spend the time in return to share this experience with others. I think this store closed. I ordered a door last week. Been calling the store for the last two days to check on order. Either no one answers, or after 100 rings, they transfer you to another line where no one answers. Tried every extension, no answer. Pic is a call where some answered after I let it ring close to 200 times. They transferred me, and I just let it ring. The call eventually dropped (or they hung up on me). This is one of the better Home Depot locations I've been too. It's particularly clean and I can usually find some help in a reasonable time. Not always, some days it just seems hard to find people. I like the efficient self-checkouts, the ability to use Paypal, and to use Apple Pay. Also getting your receipt e-mailed; much more convenient than paper I have to scan! read more

The doors and windows department at this location is absolutely horrible. I just got through with quite possibly the worst process and customer experience I have ever encountered. I will never recommend professional services through Home Depot to anyone. I write this review in hopes that it saves someone else the headache and wasted time that it cost me. There is simply too much to write to include all of the things that went wrong with my order but below is a high level: - First set of doors were ordered to the wrong dimensions and arrived 3 weeks late. - I was told I had to pay for delivery when I was originally told that the installer would be delivering upon installation and that cost was already covered in the initial payment. - Doors were re-ordered and yet again were wrong (door handle on wrong side of door, doors were beat up, trim was coming off, doors were unpainted). - Management asks for emailed pictures showing damages to doors and incorrect specs then never calls back to address the problem. - Throughout the whole process I as the customer had to continuously follow up as to what next steps were, when things were going to get done, etc. - When trying to get a refund, I was offered store credit for part of it versus the method in which I paid (VISA). When I finally do get agreement for a refund, I have to follow up multiple times because I am told it has to be done partially through a check (I never received a call back but just happened to receive a check in the mail). - Not once did I receive an apology or see any sense of urgency to get my issues resolved. All in all, Home Depot had my nearly $1,500 dollars for the last 5 months while I have nothing but phone calls, emails, receipts, lost time and no doors show for it. If I could give it no stars I would. This by far has been one of the worse buying experiences of my life. We purchased a major appliance over 6 weeks ago, the first delivery that was scheduled they never showed up or called. the second delivery they actually showed up but damaged the unit on the install that a blind person could have done a better job with. We called the store again and they rescheduled another visit to see what the issue was, and that the earliest they could come out was another 10 days. The second crew came out and asked laughing "who installed this?" When I told them that it was there company, they said you have to be kidding me. They stated that the previous installer damaged the unit, and we would have to wait for another two weeks for delivery. We didn't have much of a choice, so we waited only to get blown off again. I called the store this morning and they couldn't tell me why the delivery company didn't show up, but that they have it now rescheduled for another 2 weeks wait. UNBELIEVABLE!!! Poorly maintained tool rentals. Uneducated Staff. Went in on 2/11/19 and spoke with a guy named Broc for a quote to rent a demo hammer and scraper. He quoted me $60 for 4 hours and $80 for 24. I went in on 2/16/18 to rent the tool and the price was completely different. From $60-80 to $150-200. The staff were not sure what to say so they referred me to a guy named Lenny. Lenny was running a gas engine inside the rental area at the time (OSHA VIOLATION) and the fumes were horrible, he looked up at me and said the price was $150-200 in an unprofessional way. Even the staff recognized his poor and unprofessional communication and pulled him by the arm to better communicate with me. All things aside I needed the tool and rented it anyway. After many unexpected delays at the job site I didn't get a chance to use the tool until around 9pm. The adjustment lever was jammed and required me prying with a screwdriver to adjust the height. I was unable to get the hammering function to work on the cart so I had to hold the tool and cart in an upright position the entire job. The tool was not performing as it should and was very difficult to complete the job in a timely manner. The next day I returned it to the store and pointed out the issues I had with it. I asked the staff if I could prove it was not working and they said they were unsure how to use it. A wonderful lady named Crystal saw the adjustment issue and taped on handle and said she didn't think it was right to charge me for the rental because if the issues I had. She was issuing me a refund and had to have a managers approval. After waiting for the approval approximately 15-20 min she came back and said the manager disapproves and would not even talk to me or look and the tool. This is very unsatisfying, I have been a loyal customer to this location for 4 years and have spent over 20k in renovating my house. This isn't the first time I have been treated poorly here and this is where I am putting my foot down. You have forever lost a customer. read more
