Bad experience with Gonzo and Jon the assistant manager. Was told a items was not only on clearance but also 20% off that. When I came back to purchase the items I was then told oh the 20% don't apply. So I asked to speak to the manager and long story short he made me wait for a 20 minutes then would not hour what his employee stated. Tried to convince me he didn't say that then when I confronted Gonzo about what he has stated he claimed not to have made the statement. Also Gonzo tried to get loud and be aggressive towards me and the manager Jon allowed his action for a few minutes before telling me I was the aggressor. All in all horrible experience with these guys. They just seem to have a power trip. Don't believe the clearance events there scams Now I know why managers go to LOWES and TALK CRAP ABOUT THE MANAGEMENT OF HOME DEPOT. There not for customer at all. read more

This location is one of the worst home depot locations. Not sure if this is the worst but oh well.. the staff has zero ideas of their products. Some of them dont even know where their products are located. If you really know what to grab in which aisle, you should be fine. I'm very sensitive to the efforts essential businesses are doing during the pandemic, and I usually love this Home Depot location,and come here often because of the friendly service. But, God forbid that you should ask Gary, in the paint department, to open up a can of paint because the minute sample he put on top of the can is too small to see. His response to my request was like I asked him to do the most laborious task of his day. He never smiles, he never responds with any communication, and is this Home Depot's most unfriendly employee. Update: a little kindness goes a long way. Popped in for more paint, and Gary gave me a slight smile and opened my paint can without request. Wow the customer service at this location is phenomenal! They helped me with an exchange and were very polite, professional, and sincere.

The worst Home Depot. Online said they had a hole saw kit for $21 - 3" - 5pcs available in store Stanton. We went and requested help they said no they don't have it anywhere not in the back. buy a different set instead for $42. I did. But when I got in the car I placed the order for pick up same day form that same store Stanton. They had it ready for pick up an hr later. Twice I placed an order for curbside pick up. First time 45 mins wait they only grabbed the stuff when I called. Second time I called after 15 mins arrival time and the same thing happened. They weren't even grabbing it until I called. Even then didn't see them for another 15 mins. Had to just go into the store. Please don't offer the service if you can't deliver because we just wasted a lot of time. Employee by the name of Randy (older guy, tall, husky, wears glasses, & has a mustache) was very rude. He spoke to my dad in a very condescending tone and showed zero patience. Made unnecessary smart ass comments. Called one of his coworkers over for additional help, only to call him an 'idiot' under his breath. In the end, the other employee was so polite & actually took the time to help us with what we needed. Not the first time I've gone to this Home Depot since & have seen or heard Randy speaking to other customers in the same way either. Looking for dryer vent stuff and was lucky enough to find Raul who really listened to my needs/concerns and helped me make a great product choice. He also knew what aisles and exactly where other products were and nice enough to bring me cart when he saw my hands were full. This is what customer service is all about! A few years back, Home Depot was contemplating making the layout more "softer and warmer" (hiding pallets & dimmer lighting, etc) so the womenfolk would not be intimidated to go in. I'm glad they didn't pansy it up, but instead kept up the great customer service & selection. Ed in carpet was great! He took the time to explain all the costs & possible extra costs that the installation guys might want to tack on. As I was 7 months prego, he also informed me of allergen padding as a option & its pros & cons. His follow up with both the quote guys & myself was over & beyond what I expected. I've always been a fan of HD, but this location has the most personable employees. DIY has never looked more promising; or at least they can direct me if there's a mess up. Hehe read more

I feel like every time I walk into this particular Home Depot, I'm racially profiled by lost prevention. Today this bald, Hispanic guy with glasses pretty much made my shopping experience uncomfortable as I'm being watched shopping in the light fixture section. Then when I proceed to walk to another aisle, he's standing nearby. If I didn't desperately need the lights and propane, and wasn't pressed on time; I would've left and went to the one in cypress. I spent 45 mins waiting for someone to help me out on Appliances. I asked three times for help and no one come. Finally, I walked to customer care and told I was about to lose my SH!t and cause a scene if I didn't get any assistance. I came to this Home Depot because it's the one closest to my house. The other Home Depot made the mistake to give me the wrong refrigerator for my mother. Since Mother's Day is around the corner. I wanted to give her a new refrigerator. The old one my mom has is no longer working properly. I returned the refrigerator I got at the Home Depot in GG and once I got help from customers service. They girl who was helping told me that they only do delivery on refrigerators. Now I'm confused, because the HD in GG told me that delivery is only available thru online orders. I told the girl "okay fine, is there any extra charge for delivery?" She said "no." Relief as I was, I was okay with this.... till I asked how long I could expect the refrigerator delivered to my house. She told me it was going to take about a week or so. Hell nooooooo, I need a new refrigerator asap, why does it have to take so long? Not accepting this, I told her I rather take it home with me now. Unfortunately, that wasn't possible. I'm Really disappointed I purchased a new fridge for my mother ( It was a surprise ). It was expected to arrive on 10/7 and I get a call from the delivery guy to let me know that they're here outside and just to find out they were at the wrong address. I'm located in Garden Grove and they were dropping it off in Fountain Valley. I specifically put my address to get it delivered and I payed extra to get it installed. Now the only option I have it to show up to fountain valley cancel my order and wait to get a call back to get it rescheduled. I had removed my fridge, took out all my groceries and now I have to put everything back in place and put my groceries away. If I could give a negative 5 I would , I made an online curbside order of 3 items yesterday around 4pm at this location. All three items were listed online as in stock. I scheduled curbside pickup of those items. From 4pm to 11pm I kept updating my order to see if my 3items were ready for pickup. You mean to tell me it takes 7 hours to get 3 items ready for pick up? I needed some wall anchors and thought I would look at the curtains while I was there. Two employees misdirected me to the wrong place for wall anchors which I eventually found by wandering around. Then I interrupted the personal conversation of three more employees who were standing around, to ask where the curtains were. Two of them pretended not to hear me and the third did not know what curtains were. She then looked up curtains on the Home Depot app and showed me the ones they sell online but could not tell me what aisle they are stocked in. I felt the entire staff were unknowledgeable and unhelpful. Overall socialization was much more of a priority than assisting customers. It seemed they stood talking amongst themselves in groups of 2-3, paying very little attention to their surroundings in the store, let alone shoppers. read more

Was in the area stopped by here to get a chain for my bike to lock in my truck or wherever I need to lock it. The staff was helpful and the guy who helped me was cool to help me pick out the best one for my needs I know there is no unbreakable destructible chain that will stop a thief but at least if I get something that will prevent or slow down a would be thief then it's all good. This store is pretty well kept and the staff seemed to be helpful and willing to help unlike some other HD where no one is around and they ignore you. Also the bathroom here was clean as well. Not as much variety I feel but they have a lot that you can choose from. They are kept well maintained and watered. They have a huge range of orchids in different colors. Prices are okay. -Locating the wrench wasn't difficult. We followed the huge signs they have posted in every aisle and we succeeded. Tons and tons of tools with a wide range of prices. Everything was well organized and neatly labeled. If you want to shop in a store where having masks on is not taken seriously during this time, this Home Depot is the place to go. Customers entered the store with masks on and then within minutes, took them off! An individual even had the audacity of coming within my personal space without a mask on. Employees were busy helping other customers to notice but please enforce stricter safety measures!
