Unfortunately, this is probably the worst Honey Baked Store I've ever ordered from. After multiple times of ordering Hams I found that the Ham and Glaze are substandard compared to my past experiences! Although the staff is very nice and accommodating they are in too much of a hurry to spend time with their customers. Now, back to the Hams... there is definitely something missing compared to the taste that I remember from years ago.. it seems like the cut was thinner on the ham and the glaze was more generous. Was waiting on a catering order. Waited 30 minutes and then cancelled the order since it still wasn't ready.

Whether I'm picking up some lunch or getting one of their hams for a dinner I'm never disappointed. Stopped by today and got their Tavern Club combo. In my opinion the sandwich is so big two people can share it so my husband always gets the other half. My go to side is their BBQ kettle chips and their tea. The people who work there are always nice and helpful and friendly. Each time I go by there the store is clean and bright. read more

Honey Baked Ham has a reputation for being the best. The service by Mario Rivera, the general manager, is by far the most attentive and personable as anyone could be. His actions show how much he cares about his customers. The food is delicious. Not only does this establishment have ham but they carry an array of selections of different food, for instance, ribs, bacon, all kinds of side dishes and I'm sure I'm missing a few more. My experience yesterday was amazing. I called on the phone to order ahead because I was confused by the catering menu on the website and was immediately transferred to a kind gentleman which I assume was the personable general manger in the other reviews. He explained to me that I could use my coupon and my rewards after I asked and then wanted to confirm my pickup time again since one of my sandwiches was hot and wanted it to be ready when I arrived. I called again to move my pickup to a later time and was told that it was no problem at all. The ladies inside were very nice and the woman behind the counter was helpful. She explained that the drink carrier/lids were a little troublesome, but that she took extra care in making sure they were as secure as possible. I had decided to order the honey baked sandwich for the first time and man was I impressed. The sandwiches were made, cut and wrapped so beautifully. I usually get turkey anywhere I go, but this was one of the best sandwiches I've had in my life. Would highly recommend Honey Baked Ham and 100% this location! read more

This store is easy to miss as it is tucked away on the Service Road off of Airport Blvd. near Sherwin Williams. The place is EXTREMELY CLEAN and the food is fast and fresh. I love the ham classic, broccoli salad, and potato salad. Look for coupons - they are easy to find. I'll be back soon! read more

This is one of my favorite lunch spots in spite of the fact that they don't offer wifi. The truth is, I'm somewhat addicted to their classic ham sandwich on the croissant with that Swiss cheese and sweet honey mustard sauce. The sides are great as well, and the broccoli salad and the mandarin-pineapple salad are my favorites. The food is always fresh. I have a discount card that they punch when I go in and that saves me a little cash on some visits. It's never hectic or crowded and it's always quiet in there. What's not to love really? read more

I went to Honey Baked Hams on 12/20/12 intending to order a ham to pick up on Christmas Eve. I had heard their sandwiches are pretty good, so I thought I would order one of those for lunch as well. While waiting in line I glanced in a cooler on the counter that had some small, pre-made sandwiches. At $6.99/sandwich, I decided to order one fresh-made, as the menu said "sandwiches fresh made to order." I tried to order a ham sandwich, and the young girl told me to get one out of the cooler. I pointed to the "fresh made to order" sign on the menu; her response - "not when we're busy." I informed her there were no ham sandwiches in the cooler. She said they were too busy to make one. So I can't order a ham sandwich off the sandwich menu at Honey Baked Hams? By that time I had decided to go next door for a fresh-made Whopper from Burger King instead. I then tried to place my order for a boneless ham. She flipped around and produced a ham. I would prefer to pick one up on Christmas Eve, I said. Her response - "this will be fine in your fridge for 7-10 days." I'm on my way to an appointment, and I want to pick it up on Christmas Eve, I said. And I don't want it sitting in my fridge for 5 days before I serve it. She said they couldn't take a pre-order, and anyway, I wouldn't want to come on Christmas Eve when they're swamped. I left with nothing. The next day, I went to the location in Fairhope. That store was running a seamless, efficient lunch hour with table service while simultaneously processing a long line of customers making their Christmas orders. The cashier took my lunch order and placed my reservation for pickup on Christmas Eve, sparing me the time of standing in the other line. For the best baked ham or turkey sandwich around, have the one at HBH! For $7+, you get fresh sliced baked ham or baked turkey on a croissant. Other sandwiches may be bigger but none will be better. You do, however, have to search a bit to find a HBH near you. read more

Customer service was horrible. Stephanie has a very bad attitude. I ordered my sandwich with sauce on the side. When I opened it, the wrapper was super sticky and the sandwich was soggy. I was also double charged. When I called to have someone help me I was told that a manager wasn't available and that one wouldn't be until after Christmas.
