She chose the clay art activity with a "Sea Friends" theme because it sounded creative and exciting for the kids, but the actual experience did not meet expectations at all. There were only three very simple animal designs offered, which was far too limited for a two-hour birthday party and not engaging enough to keep the children interested. The employees assisting with the activity did not appear to be properly trained to host or manage a children's party. Their instructions were unclear, they spoke very softly, and there was little enthusiasm or interaction with the kids. The atmosphere felt dull and unorganized instead of fun and energetic like a birthday celebration should be. Many of the children lost interest quickly because there was no excitement, guidance, or effort to keep them engaged. What was most disappointing was that, despite booking a two-hour party, the actual clay activity lasted only around 40 minutes. After that, there was very little for the kids to do, leaving them bored and restless for most of the remaining time. As a parent spending money to create a memorable milestone birthday for my daughter, I expected a much better-planned and professionally hosted experience. I chose this place hoping it would create happy memories for my daughter and her friends, but instead it turned into a frustrating and disappointing experience for both the kids and the parents attending the party.

The pros: The space was bright, colorful, organized and clean. The staff were friendly and informative and didn't mind giving us extra paint when we wanted additional colors. Love that you can just walk right in without reservations. The cons: Wow is this place expensive for what you get. Most of their items that you can paint can easily be found in the dollar section at Target or for less the $5 at Michael's. The cheapest item to paint was $15 and those were very small pieces which can easily be painted in less than 10 minutes. My son chose a wooden snake and I chose a window clings wind chime. Each were $22. I would expect more expensive prices for items like this if maybe you get some special tools or paints to use. You simply get a paper plate with acrylic colors of your choice and paint brushes. I do not feel this is worth the price when I can easily replicate this experience in my own home for less than $10. Overall, the idea is great but they need to make this experience more unique in order for it to be worth the price. For example, there is another craft place in Pleasanton that you can create ceramics that have to go into a kiln for around the same price. That is not something I can replicate in my own home and is therefore worth the price.

I came with a friend, and during our visit two small letter pieces from her project went missing. When staff informed her there would be a charge, she immediately agreed to pay for them without any argument. We had spent over $300 that day and were simply trying to resolve the situation. I thought one of the missing letters might have accidentally been thrown away in a napkin, so I asked an employee if she had a glove that I could use to check the trash can myself. Before she could help, the owner's son interrupted, told her to stop helping me and go assist a birthday party. When I explained that I was only asking for a glove so I could look through the trash myself, he continued arguing with me instead of helping resolve the situation. I brought my concerns to the manager, but she told me there was nothing she could do because he was the owner's son. What upset me most was that she then called my friend a liar and accused her of trying to steal the missing letters, even though my friend had already agreed to pay for them. I found that accusation completely unfair and unprofessional. The conversation became heated, and I admit I became frustrated. However, I was shocked when we were told not to come back which is fine to me because I was not planning to ever come back to this place due the customer service. Being treated dismissively, having my friend accused of dishonesty, and being told never to return after spending hundreds of dollars left a very negative impression. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would not recommend this location.

This is a co-op gallery or this is how it's explained and I was told it is a collective - hmmm... no difference to me. Regardless - there are about 45 -55 artists being represented here and no one is given ample space to show their work. It looks unappealing and wrong as some of the artist's work is wonderful. It's one thing to tell someone about an artist - it's another thing to demand that I look at certain art, and guide me to art I have no interest in seeing. I wasted time hearing this man's silly, schpeel about why I should be so impressed by him. The man closed the gallery 3 hours early when the hours clearly state that they're open later. Again- he was terribly rude, disrespectful and argumentative for no reason at all. I know service has plummeted since Covid, but this man has no business selling art for others or representing himself at this gallery. Since it's new the peninsula art scene and stanford they should be doing all they can to engender respect and kindness towards patrons. Not arrogance and a total disregard for potential art buyers! There is also too much art crammed into this space. It is a hodgepodge of lovely looking individual artists - stacked one on top of the other - it is not curated nor hung/displayed well. It diminishes the art to cram it in, looking like a poor excuse for a salon style gallery. I feel very sorry for the artists who are being represented here since the man who was manning the gallery was dreadful, nasty and full of himself. He could do no wrong and needs a lesson in customer service and kindness. It would go a long way! Do yourself a favor and do not go here and do not bother showing art here either. There are plenty of wonderful places to display and see art. Not here.
