This place used to be 5 stars for sure. I used to come here all the time with my family and my parents. However, it does seem like the quality went down a bit and prices (just like everywhere) went super high. They got rid of the combo meal when you get the burger which makes everything feel so much more expensive because now you have to get fries on the side and a drink on the side. I did go during Ramadan so it may be the reason me and my mom didn't like it as much anymore, but previously this was our go-to spot. The burgers would hit and they had some unique flavors and it was relatively close to us. Now it just feels a little too pricey for us My go to used to be the swiss mushroom burger with the masala fries and a vimto and it was fire But the positive is that it has hand slaughtered HFSAA certified meat and during Ramadan they gave us a free iftar plate which was super nice of them to do so! What used to be a busy parking lot is all but dead. This is located inside the grocery store. We were in the neighborhood so decided to give a few things a try. We ordered the double trouble burger (based on recommendation from owner), the beef seekh kabob roll, and the kids burger meal. The wait time was standard with any made to order place. The kids burger consisted of mayo, ketchup, beef patty, bun, and cheese. It was a good size for the kids. The beef patty had adequate flavor and my daughter was satisfied. I ate her leftovers and can say the burger was plain but good. The double trouble burger had good flavor to it. The double patty provided a good amount of meat per bite along with the other flavors. I only took one bite out of this as my husband had ordered this for himself. I think I would like to order this for myself next time around. The beef kabob roll was actually the only disappointment. There was no real defining flavor to it. It was stuffed with two small pieces of seekh kabob, a bunch of cucumbers, and some sauces, all rolled up in a oily paratha, that actually fell apart as eating. The place is basically a counter located within a small market. You order at the counter, and there is an area with plastic chairs and tables. I love random eats like this, and the whole experience felt raw and authentic. I ordered the Anday wala bun kebab with fries. The flavors were awesome and the meat was soft - definitely different from your typical burger. My friends ordered a burger, and they said it was solid. The burger seemed like it was slapped together with no effort, but I still ate it. This was a terrible mistake. The quesadilla was the oiliest one I ever had. The owners got greedy & not only theve increased the prices tremendously but they have the audacity to charge EXTRA money which is actually NOT added in the price. They sneak into your wallet in the name of HALAL. Check my attachment of the receipt as proof. First of all everytime u go there, ull find out that the price has been increased. I went over there yesterday and found that now the sinple cheese burger combo is 8.99 and at the end when I paid, i saw that they charged an EXTRA 50 cents for cheese. I told them that I didnt order extra cheese but I was told that because cheese is expensive we are now charging it extra. WHAAAAT They didnt even told us but sneaked into the price. So ure forced to pay for cheese in the CHEESE BURGER TWICE. Check ur bill carefully as there will these type of charges. Ask why the price is increasing every month. Also u need to know that items like PARATHAS are not fresh. They use frozen ones from the grocery section. ALSO never she I say again NEVER buy groceries from here. They exploit the Muslim customers as they come here for Halal meat and while they are here when they buy groceries its always a dollar or 2 more than what others charge. I hate giving negative reviews to halal restaurants only because I would want these businesses to grow and be successful. But I've come here multiple times and have felt completed cheated and lied to. The first couple of times I had played the forgive and forget card. But today was just ridiculous. Went to grab breakfast this morning. On the menu it said 4.99 for eggs. He asked if I would like it scrambled, so I said yes. I get the bill and I was charged 8.99 for this. Asked why and he said scrambled eggs cost more. When you go to Denny's and they ask what style you want your eggs and you say scrambled they don't double the price. In fact no where I have gone does that. At the very least let me know it would cost extra! In that same meal I had asked for hot water. He offered tea, so I politely refused and said hot water is fine. On that same bill he charged me for tea! I asked him why I was charged for tea, and he said that hot water and tea are the same thing! All in all the same guy has killed my experience here. If this was a one time thing I would have ignored it. The fact that I have had similar shady experiences in the past have says a lot about this establishment. To the restaurant owners and workers please learn some people skills. It's not always about making money. There are so many halal restaurants that offer the same food in the area. We wanted to sample all the dishes and finally selected the philly cheese sandwich, the texmex burger, the jalapeño chicken burger and the anda bun kabab burger. All with a drink and fries and one order of onion rings. The dilemma we all faced was that we all liked our sandwiches. Having taken a bite of the bun kabab, I can say that was pretty good too. A secondary benefit is that it takes you down memory lane ( for those from Pakistan). So we can safely say all the food was excellent and highly recommended. One tip is that come hungry because the servings are pretty generous. I wish we had taken photos but the food totally distracted us into starting eating as soon as it was served. There hasn't been a time where I have eaten here, or even done meat shopping (in the attached grocery store), and have not been overcharged for. Every single time there are extra charges, which the staff always have some random, unexpected excuse for. Like doubling the price for the tea, or not offering a refund (or even a simple apology) for a zinger burger which had a chicken patty which was partly cold & uncooked (literally). The staff is void of any sort of professionalism whatsoever. Customer service is one of most crucial aspects of a successful business, and it seems to be the very quality this restaurant lacks.
