It has been years since I've been to Hummus house and I was finally in the area with some time to spare. Let's just say it was just as good as the first time I had it! I had the falafel pita with a side of sweet potato fries. There is nothing better than a warm pita packed with hummus, freshly made to order falafels, and all of those amazing veggies to add those bright crisp flavors. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I think it is very rare to find a place that I tried in 2018 and to walk in at the end of 2025 and it be just as tasty, justice, clean, and same great service.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Hummus house is a must for anyone in the Fort Lauderdale area. You will not be disappointed!

THE BEST hummus and pita of my life. They make it from scratch a long with the pickled cabbage and pickles. Drooling just thinking about it. They also make their own herby hot sauce. Fully VEGAN which is a bonus. I always go for the hummus with mushrooms *salivating*. Their dolmades and falafes are to die for. You literally can't go wrong with anything on the menu. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Counter service establishment in a cute little spot in victoria park (one of my fave areas of fort lauderdale.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They recently scored a section of the back patio that they share with another business. Its right on a canal that makes it super relaxing and enjoyable.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I sometimes stop here on the way to the beach and take it to go to eat on the beach. I found what i thought was the same Hummus House in Orlando but was sadly disappointed. Hummus House Fort Lauderdale is a true gem.

I stopped by here yesterday with my wife and twins for lunch. We had found the hummus house on Yelp and liked that the food looked good and that it was somewhat close by. I then navigated over to their website and placed an order through their preferred online ordering system which ended up being sauce. The website told me that it would be ready in 15 minutes. Whenever we got there 20 minutes later my wife ended up running in to get the food since there wasn't a good parking spot. She eventually had to come out to get my phone to show them our order and was then told that it just came through. About 10 minutes after that we had our food and were on our way. For lunch on this day I ended up ordering the sabich eggplant pita and my wife went with the 6 pieces falafel with tahini. The menu described my pita as Hummus, grilled eggplants, hard-boiled egg in a pita topped with chopped cucumber, tomato and pickle, Served with tahini sauce and my wife's as 6 crispy chickpea balls and tahini sauce. My sandwich here ended up being decent and I really enjoyed the eggplant and hummus portion of my pita. It was decently flavorful and by the time I was done I was full although I wasn't completely satisfied. My wife did enjoy her falafel though and they really looked crispy. The bottom line for me is that I might stop by here again in the future. While I wasn't a fan of the wait while we were at the restaurant, my food was alright.

The Hummus House was amazing! I got the falafel platter and everything on it was fresh and delicious--the pita was soft, the hummus was creamy, and that first bite of falafel had my eyes rolling it was so good. I also tried the Moroccan spring rolls and had to double-check the menu because I couldn't believe they were vegan. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The food, the music, the vibe, service, the people--10 out of 10 all around[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. Definitely adding this to my rotation

Just moved into the neighborhood and this was the first place we tried. IT IS AMAZING!!!! I have never had pita like this in my life, it's comparable to a soft pillow. Such an enjoyable meal, safe to say my husband and I will be back many more times!!

All I can say is wow the food was amazing. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The service was quick and has very cubed decor.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I live in the area and never been here saw the owner lady on TikTok so I decided to stop in so glad I did definitely work the trip. I'll be back. I had the chicken Shawarma platter.

Falafel bowl and falafel platter, Israeli salad, tabouleh, stuffed Grape Leaves, and Frozen Limonana!

The food is consistently fantastic, fresh, but most of all DELICIOUS! I don't know what is my favorite, so I'll say everything. I always order the falafel bowl, falafel platter, an order of Israeli salad, order of tabouleh, add a side of shug (best I've had), and I add two pitas. It's a lot but it's bc I prefer to make my own pita sandwiches so I can add to my tasting. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Even though this time it was delivered instead of eating in (it's very charming there and the people are always so kind), everything is beautifully packaged and arrived safely.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I took pics and sent to friends and they all thought I was eating out :)

TLDR: A solid Mediterranean restaurant with good vegetarian / vegan food, but is priced more like a full service restaurant rather than counter service. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Atmosphere: Clean and well decorated. There are no complaints other than it is a bit small and parking is not fun on that street.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service: the cashier was kind and helpful. Once again, no complaints, but as many of you know, I reserve 5 star service for those who go above and beyond making a truly memorable experience. Food: we wanted to try as much as possible. So we got the appetizer trio, lentil soup, falafel platter, and Jerusalem Mix Platter. While the falafel was probably the best we have had in South Florida and the babaghanoush was delightful, everything else just wasn't at the same level. The lentil soup was a bit underseasoned, just your plain lentil soup, no kick of pepper or something else. The hummus was solid, but a bit bitter to our taste. And the Jerusalem Mix faux meat proteins themselves were pretty good, but the seasoning felt one note. Lastly, at $20 / plate and for the wife and I we spent $75 without drinks for an app, soup, two plates, and a small dessert. For counter service / takeaway style of meal, it just seems a tad too high, even for South Florida. We have nearby full service restaurants that charge $17-18 / plate and are just as good or even better. Don't get me wrong, it was all good and if I was in the neighborhood craving falafel, I would go again, but all the other flavors just weren't mind blowing enough for me to want to drive out of my way (past like 15 other Israeli restaurants) to go here.

WOW!!! The pita is the best I've had. Everything has so much flavor! Great lunch!! Gotta try it!!

What a gem! Found this place last minute after picking up friends at the airport. The ratings were great on Yelp and it didn't disappoint. I had one of the best salads ever - the one with the beets. Filling and flavorful. We also shared a classic hummus - plan to ask for extra pita because... hummus. My friends god two different wraps, which they loved, and a falafel for the little one. I'm looking forward to my next airport run to stop by again.

Finally had a chance to check this place out and it's soooooo good! In all honesty we just had the best falafels I have ever tasted. Super crunchy, fresh, with a ton of flavor! Hummus is off the charts as well! They have a cute inside space as well as an outdoor deck that overlooks water! Great lunch view! Lastly, the staff is super nice, even willing to let you try their signature mint lemonade before you buy it Hehe

Be aware that this is a plant based restaurant. I got take out as my vegan daughter asked me to come here so she could try the food. I was hungry and decided on buying a smorgasbord for lunch. This order could easily feed a party of 2. I'm not going to breakdown each part, but what I will say is this...I am coming back to order one of the bowls or wraps. My picture of the receipt breaks down the cost and what I got. The inside is small, clean, and welcoming.

Hummus house is a hidden gem! Stopped in for lunch after my sister had told me about 100 times. I'm not a vegetarian, but i love good food, especially Israeli food! After looking at the menu and asking for suggestions, i ended up ordering quite a few things. I got the falafel pita. Fantastic pits filled with hot falafel that was tender on the inside and crispy on the outside, cucumber and tomato salad, creamy hummus and delicious tahini! This was incredible! We also got the hummus bowl. Creamy, smooth hummus with the perfect flavor and delicious olive oil. By the end i was eating it with a spoon! The shawarma platter which was packed with meatless shawarma, fresh delicious tabouleh salad, red cabbage and more hummus! The Moroccan egg rolls. Crispy filo dough that had veggies/spices in it that blew me away. Dip it in the tahini sauce and they got even better! Finally, the shakshuka. I've had this in a few places and this holds up as one of the best I've had in the area. This tomato based dish served in a skillet had so much flavor! I do wish the eggs were a little runnier because i like the flavor of the yolk but you could taste the love put into this dish! On top of the food, the seats around back on the water make it very easy to enjoy your lunch in peace! Great setting for great food! Overall, Sam and Ella know what they are doing and i will make sure to be back and to send anybody i know their way for an unforgettable meal!

Desert Heat in Suburban Florida…read more Coral Springs is not exactly known for culinary danger. It's polite. It's manicured. It behaves. And then you walk into Falafel Gourmet and suddenly you're not in suburbia anymore -- you're in a little Middle Eastern oasis hiding in plain sight on State Road 7. First thing that hits you? That glass case of baklava. Not two sad trays. Not corner-store pastry vibes. A full shimmering lineup of honey-soaked, pistachio-loaded, syrup-dripping architecture. It's the kind of display that makes you whisper, "I'll pretend I'm taking it home for later." You're not. You're eating it in the car. Then the homemade lemonade. Not powdered. Not lazy. Fresh. Bright. And just when you think you've figured it out -- there's that hint of ginger. Subtle heat. Like it knows something you don't. It cuts through the richness like a blade. One sip and you realize Florida doesn't deserve this level of refreshment. Now let's talk shawarma. Lamb. Chicken. We had both. And this is where things get serious. Juicy. Properly seasoned. Wrapped tight. No soggy collapse halfway through. No bland filler. Just meat that's been treated with respect and cooked like someone's grandmother might actually yell at them if they messed it up. If your shawarma needs sauce to survive, you've already failed. This one doesn't. The service? Warm. Real. No robotic upsell script. You feel like they actually want you there. Like they care whether you enjoyed it. And then the teas. There's a section of teas that will make you want to point randomly and say, "Surprise me." You start asking questions. You start trusting recommendations. You start planning a second visit before the first one is done. This isn't fast food. It's edible hospitality. We walked in curious.
