However, they've recently stopped the free delivery and use a delivery service adding over $6 per delivery, no longer available on Sundays, and raised the prices substantially. One of my favorites is the Hunan Beef (basically orange beef with a cooler name) . Crispy fried beef in a tangy orange sauce. Yum! This my go to Chinese Delivery. The do not charge excessive fees like doordash or uber eats. This is a take out restaurant. You get with you order and it standard American Chinese made to order. With each entree you're given the option for a soup and appetizer (I prefer the chicken wings)...The delivery is fast and efficient. Went back again today. This time I tried something different on their menu. I ordered the Sesame Chicken with steamed rice, wonton soup, and a spring roll. The Sesame Chicken was very good and tasty. I liked that they cut the chicken into small cubes so you don't necessarily need a knife. They also give you broccoli with it, but they lay them at the bottom of the dish, so you don't see them until you are almost done with the chicken portion. The steamed rice was really good and tasted fresh. The wonton soup is OK, not as bland this time. I didn't get to taste the spring roll because I got so full so fast. The website works great, you can place your order and select your pick-up time. The cashier is nice and friendly. I have yet to have the time to dine in, but I'll say the dining area is pretty small but clean. read more

Update to my Update: I got food poisoning from my meal here! Below is the original update before I even got sick (wrote it while eating). It's been a while but I wanted something quick and cheap. Ordered the Three Delight of Kung Pao. The beef was so fatty I couldn't even eat it. It was really bad. The chicken and shrimp were at least actual meat. Stopped and got takeout from here during lunch. Pros: The prices are great! One combo meal ($6.95) was easily two meals for me. The combos include your choice of protein, white or fried rice, chicken wings crab puff or spring roll, and egg drop won ton or hot and sour soup. It was a ton of food for the price. It is also conveniently located to the medical center and my order was ready within a few minutes. Cons: Its mostly just fried mediocre Chinese food. Which can be good if you're in the mood for it. I mixed it up with some extra rice and all was good again. Sesame chicken was standard fare and filling. The chicken wing appetizer is sizable and fried pretty well. Nothing too outrageous or special about this place. The good thing about Takee Outee is the value of food and price you get. You do get a good amount for a relatively cheap price. Walking in, you will see relatively nice tables and chairs for patrons. Most people will get take out at night. You can get the combination plate for $6.50 - $7.00 and it comes with soup, eggroll and your plate. Pretty decent. Food itself isn't the best. I've had better tasting food elsewhere, but its also not totally bad. Food is average at best. The won-ton soup had an unnatural chemical flavor to it, and the rice looked like its been sitting in its pot for the entire day. If you're looking for a local chinese joint that serves greasy, unhealthy food, Takee Outee will tame that hunger. Don't expect too much frills or exquisite food. read more

However, the taste of the food is a little odd. I think the chefs add too much sugar, because Hunan chicken and General Tso's chicken are not supposed to taste sweet. Also, if you choose wonton soup for your soup selection in the combo meal, you get exactly one wonton. I went today 8/31/23 and I am so angry that I wasted so much money on what I believe to be the worst Chinese food and any other type of food I have ever tasted. I should have known when I saw exposed food sitting out near a trash can., that this was no longer the place to eat at. The food could be easily contaminated. I order the General Tso Chicken which was so chewy and stringy that I wasn't sure if it was actually chicken and it was not hot nor spicy. I also got the shrimp rolls and I did not taste any shrimp in them. And finally, I bought the special fried rice, I am not sure if they added chicken or tofu, because it had no taste. Everything was just awful, even the sweet and sour sauce was tasteless. I called to complain and was told the food is cooked upon order. I believe they are either cooking or recooking old cheap food. This place has really gone downhill. This was an expensive lesson to learn. And the service is not much better. It is right around the corner from us. one of my husband's coworkers had mentioned how good it was several times and the only reason we hadn't come here was because of the bad Yelp reviews. This is the first time I've ordered... The food was fantastic. However, I only got some of the basic stuff since I don't eat meat. I usually will order veggie fried rice, veggie rolls and crab Rangoon. If a Chinese place can't get those 3 right, there's a problem. That being said, those 3 were amazing! The rice was good, the veggie rolls were awesome and the crab rangoons were amazing! I love how they fold and cook them too. If they are consistent with my first order, not only would I recommend them, I would be a regular here. Delivery wasn't even that bad either. Seemed like a normal time. Ordering over the phone was a breeze! And sense I don't eat meat, I'm a little picky. I ordered the rice with ONLY eggs, carrots and peas. Usually when ordering Chinese over the phone, it can be a little complicated due to language barrier. Not a problem here however. And on top of it all, it only cost me $15! Ordered "delivery" through Yelp. Food arrived about 2 minutes after it said it would, so no issues there...it was during the lunch hour so I wasn't bothered at all. The delivery driver was very pleasant and delivered with a smile. I ordered beef and broccoli with steamed rice and crab puffs, all of which were hot and fresh.
