It was 2pm Wednesday today. Not very busy. We ordered at the counter and specified eating in. Ordered- * cup of clam chowder each - very creamy. Plenty of minced clams. * hubby two pieces fish & chips * combo seafood platter for me - one cod, 4 calamari strips, 2 oysters, 4 shrimp, and 4 oz clams. Cod & oysters were great. The shrimp was too salty and barely coated. The clams were non existent. The calamari strips were very wiggly. The next time I come I'll order either the deep fried oysters or the fish & chips with cup of clam chowder.

Great clam chowder ! It was thick and chunky. A bit pricey for a small "bowl" (size of a cup) at $11.50 and a bread bowl for $16.50. Service wasn't that friendly either (no smile, no greeting and wouldn't give any change for us so we could do the laundry). This was why I gave them 4 stars instead of 5.

Yumm! I've been here a few time, not to bad & has all your yummy harbor staples. This time it was a tuna sandwich, clam chowder & fried pickles. I personally like more batter on my pickles but surprisingly these were just as good!

We stopped here while on my family's yearly HW101 trip and OMG! This place is a gold find! We (family of 4) got so much food because we wanted to try it all and none of it disappointed! *my favorite part was the cashier/cook that was singing through our visit. This guy can cook and sing! lol I'd definitely stop here again

Decent seafood shack in Brookings, Oregon. Came here looking for fresh seafood. Ordered their combo filled with shrimp, clamps, oysters and fish ($23). The order was good although on the oily side and the clams had a slight previously frozen texture. Ambiance was basic with a free water station. Overall good food.

Outside seating is great ( also has inside seating too). Corn dog is really good, tater tots needs seasoning as soon as they come out of the fryer!! You get a bag of chips with the corn dog. You can upgrade to the tater tots. I bought a 25oz beer $2.89 PBR at Sharky's Market next door.

I *loved* this place. I had a crab & shrimp melt sandwich and I enjoyed every single bite of it. Highly recommended.

Good chowder, flavorful. I prefer it with more potato and clam chunks, but that's just a preference.

Love it. Love the calamari and the chowder. It's refreshing to have a place on the coast that can serve a food bowl of chowder.

This place has some great Hamburgers and cheese sticks. It may be a bit pricey but for the amount of food you get it's worth every penny.

Their service was top notch, the waiters were very attentive and friendly. The ambience was very relaxing and also friendly. Their food was delicious! We ordered the sourdough clam chowder and the rock fish sandwich the first day there and the second day we got their shrimp po'boy and crab roll. All delicious plates that we are missing their menu right now. If you're in town or passing by definitely try their food.

Party of three and went in to celebrate a birthday. We ordered: 1 oyster shooter, 1 crispy oyster appetizer, 1 patty melt, 1 cheeseburger basket, and 1 fish & chips. She walked away and we had to call her back to order drinks. The oyster shooter came out quickly. It was huge! We also saw another guest with a whole crab. We then realized that there was a seasonal crab menu. Our server never told us about the special menu. I would have easily ordered the whole crab or seafood tower (I forget what it's called but it had scallops, crab, sirloin, etc.). Our meals came out, patty melt, cheeseburger, fish and chips, and crispy oyster appetizer. Wait...what? Why didn't the crispy oyster come out with the shooter? Oh...because our server gave us a meal instead of the appetizer since it had a pile of French fries with it and we were charged for it! Overall, the meals were good. Our daughter enjoyed her patty melt. My crispy oysters and fish and chips were OK, nothing to write home about. Also, the server did not ask how I wanted my fish and chips since the menu offers them deep fried or grilled. They came deep fried. Either way is fine with me but if there is an option, the server should know that and ask. After our meals, we ordered two slices of brown butter cake and instead were served two pieces of mile high chocolate cake. At this point, it was useless to complain to the unattentive server. Probably won't go back.

My wife ordered the Agedashi Tofu & Pork Gyozas and I had a couple of rolls, the spicy Rouge and a plain Jane salmon, avocado and cucumber roll. Everything was fantastic. The fish was super fresh, the tofu cooked perfectly and the gyoza sauce tangy and yummy. We only had a couple of small issues, more personal preferences really. 1 - my wife enjoyed the tofu, but the dish is described as having an agedashi broth but really it was more of a thicker style sauce smeared on the plate the tofu was placed on. It didn't really have a true broth. 2 - the habanero marmalade was not spicy. The roll was described as a spicy roll, but the marmalade was sweet. Unfortunately, the jalapeños were sweet as well. I know they can't control capsaicin in peppers, but that marmalade needs way more habanero. It would be WONDRFUL on toast though! Note: looking at their menu now they have updated this roll to replace the marmalade with a "tangy sesame". I look forward to trying this to see the difference. If you want a wonderful coastal option that isn't fish & chips, give Pacific Sushi a try.

He enjoyed the Redwood and Rogue rolls. Next time I *won't* order the Nature Nugget roll (which is listed with different ingredients on their website than their in-restaurant menu). It tasted like Lysol, presumably from the citrus ponzu? That was a tough swallow. I'd still return for that tofu, though. We were seated right away, arriving around 8pm on a Saturday night, with several other guests already seated. The lighting was low and decor was pleasing for a small town coastal sushi joint. The tomodachi was on point and our waitress was attentive and pleasant!

They make their own vodka and it's quite nice. Do yourself a favor and try any of the Superfly specials with it, they'll surprise you. They do have a food menu, but it's a martini bar first and restaurant second. The food was pretty decent, but the knife work, plating and ratios showed the experience behind the stove. I was pleasantly surprised when I was told I could order fish tacos even though it wasn't on the menu. I love a good grilled fish taco so I went for it. The fish was perfectly cooked and seasoned well, the green and orange sauces were good if a little too mild, and the tortillas were the right style but not grilled quite enough. Also, there was very little cilantro or onion and almost no cabbage so they weren't as filling as I would have liked. My wife had the Katsu Chicken Salad. It arrived plated like it was deconstructed: the katsu on a bed of lettuce greens with very thick slices of vegetables around around the plate and the dressing on the side. It was odd, clunky and the katsu was under seasoned. The peanut dressing was divine though, my wife said she could have drank that like milk. There are some other dishes I'd like to try and their drinks were fantastic so we'll definitely try them again.

Super disappointing brunch service this morning. Not sure what was going on in the kitchen but the…read morewait time was a little ridiculous for simple breakfast food and considering the place was only about half to two thirds full at the time. It was at least 40 minutes from the time we ordered to the time our food started showing up and, for whatever reason, our French toast kabob appetizer didn't come out until the rest of our mains. The bigger problem was the Irish Filler. Of the two strips of bacon it came with, one was overcooked to the point of being brittle and hard to chew, while the other was way undercooked so the fat had just barely started to render and had that sort of gross gelatinous texture. On top of that, I had to send it back twice because it was missing the gravy and the corned beef; both of which are standard ingredients included in the base recipe. Our server was very apologetic and was quick to return to the kitchen for the missing ingredients. Unfortunately, when the dish was complete I dug in only to find the entire thing lukewarm to the point that the cheese hadn't even melted over the potatoes in the bottom of the bowl. By that point I just wanted something in my stomach so I just sort of picked at it until I was no longer starving, but I didn't even bother with a box for the leftovers. To be fair, the Top o' the Mornin' omelette and the breakfast burrito with sausage were really good; generous portions and cooked well. But I feel like when your brunch menu only consists of like ten items to begin with, you should probably excel at all ten of those items. Hopefully this was just a one-off and not indicative of their usual quality but with a variety of other local places to choose from, I can't say for certain that I'll be trying my luck here again.
