Perfect Guinness, John and Lee are awesome. I'll be back!!! Sound lads, great crack

    Guinness and passion fruit marg

First of all, the service was spectacular! Our server made sure we had good seats and turned on the fan for us outside. My bf got the Guinness and agreed with other reviews that said it was a great pour! I got the passion fruit marg, even though it seemed like a beer bar, but was not disappointed! Both drinks were great and we'll definitely come back since I want to try some of their food (a bar that serves pig in a blankets!!) Overall, a fun and laidback bar with great service!

    Guinness is good

It's all about the Guinness- it's just better than anywhere else in NYC. Owen is a top bloke, barman and I hope the bar adds nuts and chips! We need a salty snack when drinking pints

Now serving Modelo. Enjoy this and other $5 all day specials.

A great local pub in the Upper East Side. Steps away from the Q, get out at 83rd St, take the escalator. Good beers on draft and more cans and bottles, including $5 daily specials on Founder's IPA, Modelo, Guinness Blonde, Michelob Ultra, Magic Hat. Friendly Bartenders and a comfy, intimate pub. Located on 84th, between 2nd and 3rd Ave. This is a great bar to stop in with some friends, great for nightcap. Come here for Happy Hour after work, it's mellow then, a perfect way to unwind after a long day of work. You'll meet friendly people and have some great conversations. There is free WiFi. It's a captive portal. Tip, give your real email and you'll get an occasional offer to redeem a free beer. They don't spam, just an occasional message. Love this place, it's a such a benefit to have this in my neighborhood.

mmmmmmmmm magner's irish cider and world cup

Maybe it was the fact that I was drinking beer at 2pm after just waking up, or maybe it was the abundance of pastel colored Polo shirts surrounding me... either way this bar didn't quite astound me, or really disappoint me. Dimly lit, sporting an actual Irish bartender - this bar has a good selection of beers. Oppressively hot outside, I opted for a Magners Irish Cider. Served on ice, I definitely recommend ordering this on a hot day. They have a few HD TVs near the bar, but nothing really beyond that. A low key atmosphere, this is a good place to come and talk with friends.

This place literally smells like a dirty wet gym shoe. I HATE to leave a bad review for any business, but it's stomach churning.

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with champagne, which immediately set the tone for a special evening. Our server, Daniel, was beyond amazing. He was warm, attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in making our anniversary meaningful. It never felt forced just thoughtful, polished hospitality. The team went above and beyond when we brought our wedding cake (which had been frozen for a year). Not only did they accommodate it without hesitation, they helped decorate and present it beautifully you would have thought it had been baked that same day. It was such a touching moment for us, and they handled it with care and enthusiasm. As for the food: incredible. The steak tartare was perfectly balanced and beautifully prepared. The tuna was fresh and vibrant. And the Beef Wellington... honestly one of the best I've had in New York City. Perfectly cooked, rich, elegant, and absolutely worthy of a celebration dinner. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance: romantic, warm, refined but relaxed. It felt special without being stiff. If you're looking for a place to celebrate something meaningful, this is it. We will absolutely return.

We were so impressed with Eleni's service that we made sure to share our compliments with the manager, who was also a pleasure to speak with. Fortunately, The Grey Dog's Chelsea location had a large picnic table in the back (and yes, we had to make a reservation in advance). Even so, the seating was a bit tight and uncomfortable. FRIED CHICKEN & JOHNNY CAKES - 18 I wanted a mix of sweet and savory, so this option seemed like a good one. Each order came with two strips of fried chicken tenders placed on top of two large cornmeal pancakes, each bigger than my face. The fried chicken was heavily-breaded (perhaps a bit too much), with white chicken meat underneath that varied between juicy and dry The pancakes themselves were pretty forgettable, and I wasn't a big fan of the lemon ricotta or chili-spiced syrup on the side. Most of our group found their entrees pretty underwhelming. Additionally, service was really slow, and the kitchen forgot an order. Personally, I wouldn't return, especially with so many other great options within two minutes walk away. Edit: Owner pointed out that their chicken is not breaded. What I meant is that the chicken is heavily-battered. Sorry!

Probably the worst food I've had in manhattan to date. We got the shaved steak sandwich which was awful. The steak was somehow raw (we asked for medium well) and rubbery and overly chewy all at the same time. Also tasted like it was seasoned with a pinch of salt and nothing else. The caesar salad was abysmal. They make their own dressing which is usually a good thing but that was not the case here. The dressing tasted like anything but caesar. We told the waitress and asked for new entrees because we couldn't even take another bit of either. We chose chicken tenders and a burger because we figured you can't mess that up. Well.... The burger was also pretty terrible and the chicken tenders tasted of old oil. Now one would think if food isn't their strong suit, maybe they make up for it in their drinks. WRONG. Moscow Mule was not in a copper cup. Instead it was out of a plastic cup made to look like copper. It also tasted like flavored water. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because the waitresses gave us new food (also bad) and we're apologetic but it's not their fault. Don't come here for anything other than a beer since they can't mess that up

Our server didn't check up on us, and seemed to want us to leave quickly after dropping off the check.
