I loved the Hut Omelette. Sausage, veggies & more. Huge portion for $11. Choice of grits or hash browns. I order the hash browns crispy ... and they were. Restroom is clean, but a bit spartan. I also learned that they make the pies and brownies themselves. I will return.

Gyro and fries added feta and cucumber. Top notch!!

This resturant is family owned and operated. Have never had a bad meal or experience.

Owned and operated for 19 years by Maria and her husband Nick, this diner should be on Triple D! Their decor inside adds to the ambiance of working class america. I like the fact that the dishes are all handmade and homemade. Their daughter Elizabeth who manages and serves says her parents are still very passionate about their diner. "They put their heart and soul into every dish" I believe that. I broke from my diet to devour their tasty mushroom swiss burger and their italian soup. So amazingly delish! Take a look at the photos that I had taken and do me a favor, please come and patronize this Diner. You will have a delightful experience with your server and you will have a tasty experience with your meal. I highly recommend!

Our food was so delicious and the portions were larger enough to eat in two sittings. I was impressed with the food, especially the size and batter of these onion rings--good and greasy just as they should be! I will bookmark The Hut and order from them again in the future. Great diner food.

We placed a to go order and the cashiers were so personable and nice! The cooks even said hello to us when we walked in. We didn't have to wait to Order or anything! Ordered the French toast with sausage and eggs! I order my eggs over easy and they were cooked to perfection! The yolk was cooked perfect, running just right in my egg whites haha! My French toast was really good! I ordered it with cinnamon and powered sugar! They were really thick, just how I like them! And the Turkey sausage was seasoned perfectly too!! I'll definitely be back!

I try to hit local places as I travel around on my many business trips. The Hut Diner is one of my better finds. They are a bit of a throwback in decor and menu, but that's what i was going for. Burgers and fries, done old school. Great service and the pricing is amazing. $8.95 for burger, fries and a coney dog. I didn't add cheese or a soda, etc, so YMMV. The place is neat and clean and has the local vibe. I was the only Asian in sight. That didn't cause any issue for anyone could see, however. All cool. I liked all my selections. Next time i think I'd get the wedges instead of fries- pretty much because I like a thicker fry rather than any objective issues. This one is a keeper.

Easy five stars for a place of this style (burger/diner) ... clean, freindly, cute decorations, huge portions, but more importantly, really good food. I'm not much of an onion ring person because they often become too greasy, but definitely lighter batter and fried perfectly. Same with the fish, and while my son had a burger, he finished every bit of his half pounder and fries!

This place is actually pretty legit. What a hidden gem! I've heard of this place through other yelpers and finally got the chance to dine here last night for the first time. While it isn't the fanciest place, it sure is pretty decent food. The menu here has a lot of different items to choose from, and they also have breakfast and lunch specials all day long. I went with the two hut sliders with onion rings and a water. My date went with the two coneys, onion rings and a drink as well. When the food came out, it was actually pretty good. I not only was able to finish all of it, but we both loved the onion rings. We couldn't get enough of them. Also, the prices here are really on point, so you can eat your face off for not that much money. Even though it's in a weird part of town, it's worth a trip if you want something different and are sick of coney islands like me. I don't know what the hours are, but if I lived closer I sense that I would probably eat here a lot more often. Also, the decor is kind of random and funny, which I love as well. Sort of a 70's look with random pictures on the wall. Thank you Hut Diner, I will gladly return in the future.

I had the roadhouse skillet and split an order of banana nut French toast . I was really happy with both. The roadhouse is for individuals like me who can't decide what they want. So you get it all combined in one bowl: the skillet potatoes, eggs, biscuit bites, & sausage all topped with sautéed onions and peppers, cheddar cheese and country gravy (yum). The French toast was just heavenly. While the restaurant was filled pretty much to capacity, you were still able to move around and didn't feel cramp. They also had a few tables set up outside in case you wanted to enjoy the weather with your meal. All in all great spot; will definitely be back.

First off, the place is a dead zone for cell service and they don't offer WiFi to their customers. Stupid. Secondly, they continually are out of things or don't offer them even if it's on their menu. Today it was apple juice and PB & J sandwich- how the hell do you not offer the easiest sandwich in the world to make!? After that, they get their produce from GFS when they have a literal farmers market out their front door. Pretty sure that's where they also get their burger meat from cause their burger sucks too. It made me feel ill and I didn't finish it. Also their chicken tortilla soup, while it had a nice kick to it, was disgusting. A milky queso dip- like texture with little to no actual chicken in it. Gross. Had hopes for this place as a first time experience but never going back. Cool looking place but you can't even hear yourself think and low quality food.

My corned beef & Swiss omelette was truly loaded with corned beef and was served hot from the flat top. The chopped potatoes were properly cooked, but lacked sufficient seasoning. A dash of salt, pepper and hot sauce was necessary. I wish it had included a hint of something else; onion? Garlic? So how is this a 5-star review? Value! A generous three egg omelette, loaded with corned beef, served hot by an attentive waitress was $9.99. Will I return? Yes. Absolutely.

First is that it has a big menu, which I don't always feel is a good thing as it risks not really specializing in one area. Well, I was proven wrong. The 'big apple' is a signature dish and one that comes up on many searches, so I went with it. From a regular pic, it might not jump out to you and you may think it's almost like an apple fritter (though nothing wrong with that), but it's so much more. It's almost difficult to describe. It seems like it was cooked in it's own unique bowl-shaped pan since it's crispy all around, including the edges that lift a couple inches. It's surprisingly light, almost like a light, airy crepe. Maybe even a bit like a Yorkshire pudding. Of course, it's sweet and the apple aspect of it was also better than I expected. Almost certainly real apples roasted in house added with cinnamon sugar and not just something prefabricated from a bag and warmed. We had a huge group of three families and everyone loved what they had. The pancakes were a huge hit and were true butter milk pancakes. Those, and many other things, tasted as though made with real butter. My daughter loved her crepes. The friend with me was really impressed with his omelet. It goes on.
