I filed a police report last night and will be filing criminal charges once the report is completed at the Clayton County Police Department. When I'm craving a seafood boil, Juicy Crab is my go-to. I haven't tried any of their other menu items. This location has great flavor, it doesn't miss, and the drinks are also fruity and yummy. Please don't order a soda, it will be flat. The service is friendly but slow, everyone here is pleasant but the food is going to take its time to go out and you may have to flag someone down to take your order BUT bayyybe when that boil come up, you will not be disappointed. And it's always good to sit at the bar for quicker service too. Also, if you order to-go, please check your order before leaving the restaurant. I've only dined in and had to have my server correct or add to my order because it was not taken correctly and funny thing is, they write the order down on the table (lol) There's a parking lot with plenty of good parking and other great restaurants in the area too. if I could give ZERO stars I would!! today is the second sttaught day this location got my order wrong and never started on the order when I did it DoorDash. last night it provided me an estimated time frame 8:11pm-8:21pm to only keep pushing it back and saying that the driver has it when the driver didn't have it. they never had started on the order which was placed at 7:31pm. Horrible service, horrible food and management. Wait time extremely long after ordering even when its not busy. Paid $2 for 1 potato and its the size of a quarter. I mentioned it to the staff and MOD and was met with laughs and rude attitudes. She brought out another potato the same size and laughed while handing to me. I paid $51 only to realize they forgot to put my add ons of corn and potatoes in the bag. When I addressed it, there was no apology issued. First time getting an Togo order from this location. Every time I would pass by there would be cars packed in the parking lot. I ordered three seafood bags for me and my family. Their covid protocol is you placed your order and then someone will call you once your order is ready. That is to reduce the number of people that is just lingering in the restaurant. This place is actually pretty good. My only thing is that it's very pricey (although I know seafood often IS pricey). I've tried Steven's and tbh, juicy Crab & Steven's is almost the same thing. Except Steven's gives you bigger potatoes and has a tray. Juicy Crab sells by the meal, so it does get pretty expensive. Food for 4 adults & 2 toddlers (for our order) was $170. Don't get me wrong.. the food is good. But I'm not sure about $170 good. This place does work fast & DID get our whole order right so 3 stars for them. This was my second time at this location and I preferred my original experience over this one. The hostess was quite rude, and our waitress greeted us several times without her mask covering her mouth. We ordered fried calamari as an appetizer which we had to send back because it was undercooked. My boyfriend and I both order build your own combo's and our half pound of shrimp was left out. So we enjoyed our meal while waiting for the remaining shrimp, when those arrive we dove into those as well. The meal was definitely yummy but service wasn't the absolute greatest. But she kept trying to see if I wanted more than what I wanted. She tricked me into ordering 2 clusters of crab by not clearly making it clear that I actuawanted 2 of the same order. For starters, in the past this restaurant had good food. I ordered on line yesterday and my scheduled pick up was 12:30. When I arrived to the restaurant they didn't' have me in the system at all. So I was a little concerned but reordered anyway. I waited 45 minutes before I received my ordered. I finally saw the young man bring my order and put it on the holding shelf but at first I didn't know it was mine until the other young man picked it up and brought it to me and I told him, that other one saw me sitting there for 45 minutes and put my food on the shelf and walked off. After I looked at it the order was WRONG!!! Then I was a little pissed and took it back. I'm not one to write reviews but The Juicy crab on Tara blvd needs to get it together!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
