I placed an order for pickup through Uber Eats, and it was ready in less than five minutes. Finding parking wasn't an issue at all since there was plenty of street parking nearby, which is always a big plus. They also have a cute little seating area out front if you'd like to enjoy your meal outside. The pickup process was very simple. You just walk up to the pickup window and grab your order. I ordered the: *Chicken Shawarma Plate: the chicken was absolutely phenomenal and seasoned incredibly well. I chose the hybrid option, which included both greens and rice, and the portion of protein was generous. The hummus was also delicious and came in a large portion. The only downside for me was the salad, which I wasn't the biggest fan of. I was also disappointed that such a large serving of hummus came with only two very thin slices of pita bread. It definitely wasn't enough to go with the amount of hummus provided. One great perk is that Uber Eats offers $5 off orders of $15 or more between 2 PM and 5 PM, which makes the meal a much better value. Overall, the food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the pickup process was quick and convenient. My only suggestion would be to include a larger pita portion, especially considering the bowl costs close to $20 before discounts. read more

I was so happy to see Pacific Pita finally open - it's a great addition to the neighborhood. If you blink, you'll miss it - it's right next to the little convenience market at Cleveleland/Meade. Went for the soft opening and had the beef shwarma bowl and enjoyed the tabouli and saffron rice mixed with the hummus and garlic sauce (FYI, garlic is prominent which I loved). I thought the portion size was great for the price. Like another reviewer, I thought that a few pita bites would've enhanced the dish since the portion of hummus was huge. I'll definitely go back and try the other yummy options. I do wish they had a small table/umbrella to give it a little more friendly curb appeal. Pacific Pita is a set of service windows operating out of a structure in the University Heights neighborhood. The business was on a random corner next to a convenience store where there were two dedicated parking spots out front (one regular, one handicapped). There were no chairs or tables outside which was a shame because that meant you had to take your food to go. After placing an order, you could either stand next to a fence or go back to your vehicle and wait. A menu sheet was posted next to each window. For what appeared to be a small operation, there were lots of Mediterranean based choices across the categories of appetizers, bowls, fries, salads, and wraps. You could even order party size trays if you needed large quantities. I selected a Salmon Tikka Bowl out of the nine bowl varieties. Herb-marinated salmon chunks were added on top of my choice of base which was a hybrid of greens and saffron rice. Hummus, garlic, tahini sauce, and tabouli salad were provided on the side. I thought the quantity of food was decent for the $19.99 price. The hummus and tahini sauce were perfect to mix with the yellow rice and made it less dry to consume. Perhaps some pita slices could have been added to the order. The salmon was slightly overcooked, but the marinade was able to save the protein. I gave a four star rating for my takeout experience at Pacific Pita. read more

Pacific Pita has recently opened its doors. It is a to-go place only at this point. It's located next to the "American Market" convenience store. I ordered the chicken shawarma wrap with no fries. All their wraps come with fries. Even without the fries, they still had me pay the full price of $15.99 plus which came out to $17 and some change. I wish they would have offered me a small salad, a small side of hummus, or a small side of babaghanoush at least. At any rate, the chicken shawarma wrap was very good. It did not come wrapped in more traditional pita, lavish, or saj flat bread, but rather a good and dependable flour tortilla, which was of good quality. The chicken was tender and very tasty. The tahini sauce that came inside the wrap was very good. The house pickled cucumbers were great and the tomatoes and onions were fresh. They put just enough sumac to complement the rest of the ingredients. A very good shawarma wrap. The hospitality was pretty good. There was not much conversation, but then they were busy getting ready for the day. The service was average. It did take about 15 minutes to make the wrap and I was the only one there, not that I am complaining. read more

Flavor was top tier ! We were finally able to make our way out to this spot. Me and my buddies were starving. We each had 2 eggs rolls. 1 beef and 1 1cheese. To me the cheese was better. We each got a half of a kabob wrap and make it crispy. It was delicious my favorite item on the menu ! We shared Pacifica fries. Half beef half chicken the shawarma was juicy. I took a chicken tikka bowl to go when I got home it was still yummy. Lots of flavor on the chicken and the hummus was still fresh. They even have dessert we all got a pistachio ice cream. I want to like this a lot! But I just gotta say, for true feedback purposes, that I don't think this place will last long if they charge these prices and barely put any meat on my order. My friend and I visited Pacific Pita for lunch the other day. We split a chicken Shawarma wrap with fries and a falafel bowl. We also tried a side of baba ghanoush and some baklava. Kind owner gave us some pistachio ice cream to go with the dessert. Everything was fantastic. Noticed this spot while driving past. Saw that they're having a "soft opening". I ordered the food easily with very friendly staff. We visited two times, three days apart. The second time was the Fourth of July and they were having 20% off the entire menu all day. Between the two visits, we were able to taste a lot of things, including the chicken Shawarma bowl, the eggrolls, the croquettes, the tabouli, chicken tikka bowl, two kinds of hummus, falafel, and the most delicious pistachio ice cream ever. Things we've had before tasted better here and things we've never had before were amazing. I strongly recommend any appetizer and the chicken Shawarma in any rendition. So so yummy! The portions are huge and the food is so fresh. I've had both the beef and the chicken plates and both are solid options. The tabbouleh is some of the best. I do recommend adding extra pita just to accommodate the amount of food/hummus you are given. The people working here are friendly and are making the most out of a spot next to a liquor store. We live nearby and have been very excited for the opening of Pacific Pita! We went to try it out during the soft opening and really like the: salad, rice, hummus, fries, and beef wrap. Found the chicken in the chicken bowl to be a little rubbery and the baklava was not flaky or crispy enough. I know it is the soft opening and the menu is still changing so I am hoping to try it again soon and have these issues fixed. The prices are on the high side for now.
