Area is a little sketch but I kind of like the kitchen concept. The food was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. LIKE WOW I HAD GRILLED CHICKEN. AND IT WAS GRILLED ON A BBQ GRILL. FLAVORED WELL. JUICY. I HAVE BEEN TALKING ABOUT IT ALL WEEK. Sorry for yelling. But that's literally how I feel about the food. Top tier and I also had the nasi goreng. I've been to Indonesia and Indonesian food is literally my top favorite in the world. So this was a treat.

Pros -Mi goreng (medium spicy) was very good, with a huge portion size and hitting all the right tangy - spicy - sweet notes -Vegan Nasi Kuning was beautifully presented and allowed me to try numerous small components. The yellow rice topping was delicious and I liked the spicy, savory notes of the bailado tofu -Roti had good flavor and texture Cons -Both Yelp and delivery sites show Lezat open during lunch hours but today my lunch order was canceled at the last minute after GrubHub driver already arrived due to "Business Closed until 4:45 pm. " so I held out until dinner. -The curry dip accompanying the roti was thin and lacked flavor -The Nasi Kuning components weren't as tasty as a whole as I expected. Would order dinner delivery again, but stick with the Mi goreng and roti (accompanied by my own homemade dip)

Wow!!!! What a GREAT FIND! While vacationing in SD, I missed indonesian food, so I looked up to see if SD has indonesian restaurant, and I found Lezat! I called to pre-order my food, the lady told me the time to pick.it up. They do t have a restaurant, it's a Shared kitchen warehouse looking place that house several other "food businesses". You can order your food online (or call ahead) OR head there and they have tablets at the lobby for you to place food order, typical wait time is about 15 minutes. I ordered nasi kuning (yellow rice) with beef rendang, grilled chicken plate with coconut rice (i asked for this instead of regular rice), chicken satay, perkedel (fried mashed potatoes) and martabak telur (fried pastries filled with eggs and gree onion). I have to say as an indonesian, the food here is legit!!! So so so good and perfectly seasoned. The Portion is generous too! Service was top notch and she was perfectly on time! Told me to come at 1245 and exactly at 1245 she texted me saying food is ready and I could meet her up front. Loveeeee it! Check it out if you want to try good authentic and affordable indonesian food without having to fly to indonesia!

Omg Tini ! The food was amazing, everyone loved it. My dog even ate some. Everyone took food home with them. Great service, super easy to order. This meal definitely set the ambience for our family gathering. We will definitely be reordering. Thank you so much. Hope you had an awesome Thanksgiving!

If you're looking for REAL Indonesian food in San Diego, look no further than Lezat Kitchen! This place is an absolute hidden gem, bringing the true essence of Indonesian home cooking with flavors that are bold, authentic, and nearly impossible to find in California. If you're Indonesian and miss home, this will instantly take you back. If you've never had Indonesian food, this is the perfect place to start! The Food - Authentic, Flavorful, and Just Like Home Nasi Kuning - This fragrant yellow rice dish is a classic in Indonesian cuisine. The one at Lezat Kitchen is well-balanced, though slightly milder than the traditional version. It's fluffy, aromatic, and pairs beautifully with the side dishes. A comforting staple that reminds me of home! Rendang - THE STAR OF THE SHOW. If you haven't tried rendang before, it's a slow-cooked beef dish braised in coconut milk and an aromatic blend of spices until it becomes tender, rich, and packed with umami. I've tried many rendang dishes across the U.S., and people often praise the ones in LA, but trust me--this one is SO much better! The spices, the texture, the deep caramelization--it tastes exactly like the rendang you'd get in Indonesia. It's rare to find this level of authenticity! Telor Balado - A comforting, homey dish of fried eggs coated in spicy sambal balado. The sambal here has a unique, refreshing twist, giving it a perfect balance of heat and tanginess. They also serve Sambal Ijo, another type of sambal made from green chilies, which is incredibly flavorful and adds the perfect kick! Urap - A traditional Javanese vegetable dish with grated coconut, making it light, fresh, and packed with flavor. The coconut and spices blend beautifully, giving that true authentic Indonesian taste. Kale Soup - This dish instantly reminded me of Sayur Lodeh, a comforting Indonesian vegetable soup made with coconut milk. Even though they use kale, the broth and flavors perfectly replicate the taste of home. It's warm, nourishing, and has that signature Indonesian spice kick. Ayam Penyet - Insanely crispy, juicy, and absolutely delicious. If you've had real Indonesian ayam penyet, you know the standard is HIGH--and this one does not disappoint! The chicken is perfectly smashed, well-seasoned, and fried to crispy perfection. The sambal is excellent, though slightly less spicy than the ones you'd find in Indonesia (which makes sense since not everyone here can handle extreme heat like Indonesians can ). But trust me, it's still SO good! Chicken Satay - Another standout dish! The satay here tastes just like the Sate Abang-Abang (street-style chicken satay) that you'd find on the streets of Jakarta. Unlike the more refined Sate Khas Senayan, this version is grilled to smoky perfection, served with rich peanut sauce, and brings that nostalgic, comforting taste. If you're a fan of satay, you HAVE to try this! And the best part? Tante Tini, the owner, is one of the kindest, most humble people you'll ever meet. She puts so much love and passion into every dish, and you can truly taste it in the food.

Nasi Kuning with urap is so delish! The urap is tasty

Slightly late on review of this great Indonesian food served from a ghost kitchen in San Diego - quick and so convenient. Food was authentic, delicious and the service from Tini was exceptional! They will text you once food is ready and there's bench seating on lawn in front. Recommend to try their food!

The food is delicious!! I had to comeback. The parking suck!! Too many cars double/ triple park. Service is excellent!! We order online and pick it up! The place is nice. There's some seat in the lawn but they blocked off the handicapped parking. I can't walk due to a leg injury so I drag my daughter to get the food for me, lol. The food is made to order so please be patient and they are pretty nice when you call to get eta on your food! Will continue coming back for more!!

Ordering online is easy and quick. The food was ready in less than 1 hour. Parking on the street is very limited when I went. Pick up is also easy. I got notification on my phone to open the locker. Food are so delicious. Very authentic Indonesian food made by a lady with superb culinary expertise. I highly recommend this place for an authentic Indonesian taste.

    Rendang, egg yellow rice.

Although I didn't care for the ordering process and the longer than indicated wait times, the food is legit! Finally some great Indonesian food in San Diego. The rendang is soooooo good. Yummy.

What exactly is the seating situation? Most reviews infer take it to go but I live 20+ miles away.

There is a small patio with several picnics tables where you can eat. Note that the area isn't the most scenic but the food makes up for it!!

Garlic Chicken, Lechon , Lumpia , Veggie Medley , Garlic Rice, Pancit - it was all SO GOOD. Food and catering service were some of our highest priorities to get right during our wedding and Culinary Kitchen was phenomenal every step of the way. Our communication with Ashley and and JP before, during, and after the wedding was exceptional. From the very beginning, Ashley was very responsive and regularly checked in with us, which helped me feel less overwhelmed by all the catering decisions we needed to make. I tend to err on being extremely detail oriented and I asked tons of questions early on. Ashley was so patient and thorough with each email I had sent over even before booking. Before choosing our caterer, we did 3 different wedding caterer tastings and Culinary Kitchen easily was the best of all three (we're still thinking about the gochujang meatballs and the cavatappi pasta with fennel sausage!!). On our wedding day, the food service ran seamlessly and our guests often commented on how good the food was (guests were actually trying to sneak chicken tenders off the kids plates because even the kids meals were so good). Their team also helped us serve our desserts, did our bartending, and rented/placed all of our table settings, all at very reasonable prices as part of the entire catering package. The team also went above and beyond to accommodate all of our guests' special dietary needs while still helping us stay within budget and recommending a cohesive menu. One last thing - we did A LOT of research on different San Diego caterers before our wedding (I think we sent out inquiries to at least 10 other caterers) and Culinary Kitchen's catering packages felt the most "upscale" and comprehensive without leaving us feeling nickel and dimed for every line item. I truly felt like their team was on our side the whole way. THANK YOU Culinary Kitchen for catering our wedding day!! We wish you guys the best of success!

They handled an outdoor mixed station and tray pass party for over 100 people like absolute pros. Their entire staff was friendly, professional, and warm throughout the planning and service. Best of all, the food was DELIGHTFUL. Our guests were blown away by their tasty bites (we are still getting positive feedback nearly a week later) - especially the Lamb Lollipops, Fried Chicken Biscuit sliders, and OMG the fried artichoke hearts.... absolutely delicious (@Billy please give me the recipe hehe), even our meat lovers were obsessed with them. All of it was fantastic and they made the whole event a total hit. They left our kitchen spotless at the end of the night and sent a lovely follow up email the next day. These are good people with big talent for food. The bar was also fabulous and made our hosting easy as pie. We will be using them again and again and I recommend you do too. Quality imagination presentation --…read more Four Seasons Food Catering is owned by the marvelous duo Billy Burd and Sierra Ridenour-Burd. They make an amazing team. They catered a party for us at the The Thursday Club in Point Loma in March and dazzled everyone. When we were trying to choose a caterer we were attracted to Four Seasons by the imaginative and creative flair of Chef Billy Burd's cuisine and by their very positive reviews. One thing that caught our attention about the reviews was that many of them were fairly long. Apparently reviewers were not satisfied to give 5 stars and a paragraph of praise, they really wanted to testify. They felt that Four Seasons was special and they were motivated to let you know just how special. After experiencing Four Seasons catering service we can understand that sentiment. The culinary experience Four Seasons provided was marvelous. The dishes were imaginative, taste tempting, and a delight to the eye. Guests loved the appetizers that were passed: shrimp wrapped in basil and pancetta, mushrooms with escargot, parmesan crusted artichoke hearts. The stationary display had a choice assortment of cheeses and a selection of cold seafood that included jumbo shrimp, smoked salmon, ahi poke, and a sashimi platter all beautifully presented. Suffice it to say the buffet was equally spectacular. Chef Billy takes pride in the quality of the products he sources. The filet mignon for example was gorgeous. The shrimp served in the seafood display were so tasty that they made you stop and take notice. This was a once in a lifetime kind of party for us so we pulled out the stops when we were choosing items for the menu. It's very much to Billy and Sierra's credit that part of their response was to say that and they would be happy to offer some more budget friendly variations. We appreciated their inclination to work with clients to find good solutions to their needs. We enjoyed meeting with Chef Billy one time early in the planning process, but other than that, all the planning and coordination was handled by Sierra. She is fantastic and a pleasure to work with. She gave us recommendations on the initial approach to the menu, on down to details like the serving schedule, linens, and the table floor plan. We communicated mostly through email which was very productive because her emails, besides being congenial, were always clear and complete. And it was amazing how quickly she would reply, usually the same day. When it came to the final week before the party and it was time to summarize all the various emails and discussions Sierra nailed it, she recapped everything perfectly. The Four Seasons staff were wonderful. During the set up time they operated like clockwork. During the party they could not have been more charming and gracious. This is another major point to Billy and Sierra's credit. It takes care and effort to assemble a team of this quality--a group of individuals who interface harmoniously not only with the guests, but with each other, and with other vendors such as the florist. The whole event flowed thanks to the staff. When you are planning a special event you hope to create a joyful and memorable experience for all your guests. Four Seasons is a caterer with an amazing combination of culinary artistry and service craft. Choose Four Seasons as your caterer and you can't go wrong.
