The food here is always incredible. Service is good (taking into consideration how busy they were), & the ambiance lively. My husband and I love coming here for dinner. Whether it's for a casual date night, or a more special occasion! Ps. The Keg Wings are insanely delicious. They're some of my favourite wings in the city! So full of flavour!

Recently visited Skyview Keg again at the request of my daughter for her birthday. Made reservations online but ended up needing to call to modify the time as I kept getting error messages online. Upon arrival - with 3 hyper birthday tweens - we were promptly seated in the bar area as th he majority of the restaurant is closed due to the current pandemic. I was really surprised to learn they have a Happy Hour menu! Open - 6pm and 10pm - close. And there are some really good food items on there and drink specials. I decided to try the warm cauliflower salad and prime rib sliders. Both were excellent! Really liked the crispy onions and horseradish on the side for the sliders. I would most definitely order both again and were perfect for a late night supper with leftovers to bring home. The teens had steak and mini burgers, Shirley Temples, and ice cream. The service was excellent as always. The Keg is really making an effort to keep both their staff and customers safe. You'll find that things are a bit different - reservations are required at this time which I love and one server will handle you exclusively. No runners or random helpers - they are purposefully having one server handle your food, beverages, orders, everything from start to finish. Really impressed - Two thumbs up!

Me and my good friend Ronald just finished dining at the Keg on 137 Ave, and I must say that my friend's prime rib was outstanding, paired with a fine Malbec. My half rack of glazed pork ribs with sauteed vegetables, paired with a fine Ginger Ale, left me craving for more of this sumptuous fine fare; So my friend Ron finished his extraordinary main course, with a decadent Chocolate cake with almonds, accompanied with a dark roast Coffee. I settled for the Creme Burleigh, and popped the accompanying mint in my mouth to freshen things up. We both found that two outstanding Matrade's were Kevin who served us, as well as Dan who I pictured as the fine Butler on the PBS show: Downton Abbey. Keep up your excellent food quality, as well as your fine Staff ethics. Your devoted patron of all things of fine quality, Phillip Rohatynski (Retired Pastor)

The keg skyview continues to be among our favorites. Although they've moved away from their celebration box (which we loved), they now have a take out menu. We tried the take out and it was reliably keg consistent. We are so very glad about that because we have no plans to dine in for awhile. The salmon was done right. The garlic mashed were buttery smooth. The salad was crisp and fresh. We missed the bread... Maybe they will add that to the take out menu. One can order online. The hostess is outside to take payment, no need to go in at all. The packaging is designed to keep the food hot and fresh. Such a lovely Friday night treat....

Food was amazing, service was exemplary and the atmosphere was great. Spent alot but was well worth the cost and time waiting for a table and food. Staff was very friendly and helpful navigating the menu and the liquor menu. Peppercorn steak was an experience as well as the Manhattan pictured (my first one). Highly recommend this location

Shirley Temples are forever a fave of mine.

Has it really been 5 years since my last visit? That doesn't feel right. Definitely 5 years since I've reviewed. And my opinion hasn't changed. Everyone is great at their roles. Super service that was attentive without being intrusive. Tried something new this time. Sirloin Oscar. I was slightly nervous about how good the shrimp and scallops would be. But that was silly. Why would you have terrible compliments to great steak? You don't. It was fabulous. Pretty sure this is now my new favourite menu item.

Billy Miner Pie for dessert....couldn't help myself for a bite before the pic!

The seats are comfortable and it can get a little tight for space if others are seated at tables around you. After we ordered, the food didn't take long to arrive at the table and there wasn't long gaps in between the 10 dishes. The presentation of the food was ok, and some of the dishes didn't look as appetizing as at other restaurants. The taste of the food was alright with some dishes not having enough flavour. One dish had boneless chicken, and they didn't cut it very well and it was more like 3 pieces. The bird's nest was dark and it looked like the oil wasn't changed recently. The shrimp in the shrimp with peaches dish were small and deep fried. The service throughout the meal was good with drinks refilled. They also offered dessert at the end of the meal. There are a few things that stood out about the restaurant. The emergency exit is a door that is all covered up with paper and there are chairs right against the door. Not sure if there's an emergency, people could get out using that door. In the women's washroom, the larger stall had a hole in the ceiling with a ladder coming down from it. On the floor there were boxes of empty beer bottles. I guess they are short of storage space but not sure about the hole and ladder? I didn't use that stall for fear someone might drop in! Not my favourite Chinese food restaurant but it wasn't terrible either. Won't be back anytime soon.

Known for classic Canadian fare with a modern twist, this restaurant has been around since 2017 and has been St. Albert's most coveted date night spot ever since. Chef and owner Dan Ducharme has been in the game for a long time and his culinary vision is allowed to shine within Riverbank's historic walls. Using ingredients from the best local producers; such as seafood from Effing Seafoods (Rob is everyone's favourite fishmonger), whatever sparks inspiration at the St. Albert Farmers' Market, and of course beef and cheese from a producer that requires no introduction; Lakeside Farmstead, the plates at Riverbank Bistro promise fresh comfort food with an elevated air. In fact, it was Jeff Nonay (a name synonymous with quality) of Lakeside Farmstead who arranged for my dinner and I couldn't have been more excited to taste his famed products, prepared under Chef Ducharme's expertise. I visited on a Saturday evening and you certainly cannot miss the iconic building that Riverbank Bistro resides in. With its burgundy exterior and dramatic spires, this converted estate now contains several businesses, one of them being the restaurant. Perched along the river, you will be treated to idyllic views to accompany your meal. The inside of the dining room is refreshed and modern while carefully maintaining the original character that makes the building so special. Expect charcoal-wrapped banquettes, rustic wood, and statement lighting. Whisked to our comfortable table, it wasn't long before each and every other seat within view was occupied and the room was filled with the din of happy diners. Our server was exceedingly prompt and professional, revealing that we would be treated to a special five-course chef's table experience. I absolutely could not wait to get started. Chef Ducharme himself made the time to greet us at our table, narrowly escaping the intensity of his busy kitchen. He managed to personally deliver our dishes, describing each one and its ingredients with care. What a unique privilege! I'm a cocktail girl and had to begin my adventure with a Strawberry Vanilla Mojito (Fresh strawberries, Bumbu rum, vanilla liqueur, mint, lime - $16.00), prepared by the skilled barstaff. Perfect to sip on while reminiscing on the summer that just was, I enjoyed this fresh and fruity take on a classic. Muddled strawberries and mint leaves mixed playfully with the flavours of vanilla and lime. Just my kind of drink! The first course to arrive was a showstopper; Quahog Clams sourced by St. Albert's own Effing Seafoods. Served in a kimchi broth that was made with sun-dried tomato and saffron then dotted with emerald-coloured chive oil, this dish was bursting with big umami flavour! The portion consisted of a generous number of clams, each one large and juicy. However, it was the perfectly executed broth that I could have lived in. The provided triangles of sourdough were necessary for sopping up every last delicious drop. Next to arrive was a beautiful Fall Risotto, showcasing the best ingredients of the season. This unique risotto was made with a grain similar to barley or farro instead of traditional Arborio rice. Not only did this create an innovative and Canadian twist on a classic dish but the larger grains delivered a rustic plate. Each bite was chewy and nutty which was highlighted perfectly by the bright orange pieces of tender kabocha squash throughout. Mustard and sunflower seed added texture, while the housemade chicken jus (inspired!) brought decadence. The pickled components went a far way to achieve balance. Delicate curls of greens sat atop it all along with a sprinkling of Alpine cheese from Lakeside Farmstead. Each bite was rich and delicious, taking the concept of a warm fall comfort dish and elevating it to something thoughtful and elegant. Truly autumn in Alberta on a plate. The third course consisted of a Strawberry Sorbet palate cleanser which was a great way to pause and refresh the meal after the starter courses. Served with lemon zest and basil, the perfectly spherical scoop was sitting in a small pool of extra virgin olive oil. Beautifully fragrant, this sorbet was ultra creamy with very few ice crystals. A perfect match to my Strawberry Vanilla Mojito cocktail as well! Then it was time for the main dishes and they were more than what we could have wished for! Two gorgeous, high-quality, well-marbled, Nonay Strip Loin Steaks, each cooked to a medium-rare perfection. Each plate was accompanied by Lakeside Farmstead Fromage Blanc mash (their beef and cheese on one plate - chef's kiss!), sautéed spinach and mushrooms, and a black garlic jus. The really cool part was that each steak had been dry-aged for a different amount of time and it was very neat to taste and compare the difference that 40 days makes. First up is the 80 Day Dry-Aged Strip Loin Steak. Visually, it was very evident that this
