Ordered chicken strips for my boy and all three were extremely raw.

The chicken strips served to my son were all raw. He ate an entire strip and then asked why it was so squishy. When I looked at them, they were almost all raw.

Haha ohhh snap this place is wild! Tacos are killer, make sure to try out one of their insane hot sauces; "The End" sauce had me in tears... They were low on Jameson so I got a half shot for free, they also make an absolutely insane PB&J shot, must try!

    Lemon drop by Jake! Delicious!

This is a really great place to meet some locals and have a great hamburger. The staff is funny, helpful and seem to really enjoy their jobs. We arrived on horseback from an equestrian campsite down the road Andy hey were super supportive and happy to see us! Definitely visit The Knott Hole. Great fries! Great people!

Best burgers in Pollock Pines. Fries and rings too. That's all I have had here, mainly 'cause they're so good.

I'm beginning to notice a pattern: these aren't cookie-cutter restaurants. They have personality, a playful spirit, and the feeling that some people actually enjoy creating places where people want to gather and belong. Imagine a classic neighborhood diner that wandered into an arcade, picked up some incredible art, and decided everyone should just be happy. The staff are genuinely welcoming, the portions are generous, the comfort food gives solace, and breakfast lovers can rejoice because it's served all day. Whether you're there for a hearty meal or simply soaking up the atmosphere, Roc & Sol has earned its loyal following for good reason. A special note on Janah and Alicia (pictured), who made our family breakfast feel like more than just a meal. With effortless expertise, warm conversation, and infectious energy, these adrenaline junkies created the kind of experience that keeps people wanting more. They seemed to feed off the positive energy they shared with their guests--and gave even more in return. If Twisted Track Station surprised me by the genius of Crazy Matt, his family, and his people, Roc & Sol convinced me it wasn't a fluke. Sacramento needs more restaurants with this much heart.

Already gives a vibe of being somewhere very fun and exciting (especially if you notice the events they host). Our waitress was very friendly and the staff here are really hospitable. The food was amazing. I had the special Quesadillas with hash browns with a carafe of mimosa. My husband had the Benedict. This restaurant is worth coming again.

The breakfast menu is huge with many combinations and ability to order each side separately they have all the classics in addition to dishes like loco moco and Mexican-style breakfast dishes. Their "pre spiced hot meat" is a non-greasy chorizo type of meat that has a fantastic flavor, inconsistency. My tablemates got the special scramble with the pre-spiced meat, ham, sausage and bacon, mushrooms, cheese and more and absolutely loved it. I ordered the Tijuana Tortilla with eggs over-easy it came with a few country potatoes, and was absolutely delicious. The coffee was bold and tasty and came refill(s?). Seems like we were one of the of only non-local-repeat-customers. The way the waiter was able to handle all of the tables and talk to all the locals and fill the coffee and get the orders to his partner without a hitch. I would definitely come back here

We were met with a welcome and smile as we walked through the door. The breakfast menu had so many choices it was hard to decide. My husband had the locomoco with corned beef hash and I had pancakes and sausage. The locomoco was covered in an amazing country gravy and was perfectly made with an egg, corned beef hash and rice. The pancakes were light and perfectly golden brown. As we were leaving, we said we needed to come back whenever we were in the area to work our way through the menu. I'm looking forward to trying the burritos.

Manager also made sure to talk to us, asked our needs, and made some recommendations. He told us everything was made fresh at Chubby's including the bread. It was a family style diner restaurant that makes you feel like you're back in the 1950s. I really enjoyed my meal, and so did my friends. I suggest getting the Mr. Chubby burger. A classic breakfast sounded good at the time... From the breakfast menu I chose the Juke Box Special but the friendly server suggested the Soldier Boy instead which was basically the same thing except this included grilled potatoes and only one pancake. The server urged me to try the potatoes... omgosh! it was so good, they were grilled and I love the crunchiness. Nothing fancy on the menu just good, ole' classic home cookin' and diner "comfort food." Breakfast is served all day. Chubby's Diner is a small, friendly, neighborhood diner that is as retro as it gets down from the decor and food. Friendly customer service! Review #3982
