A few community-type and standalone tables are within the Kroft designated space, but sometimes when a line forms, they be staring at you with hangry eyes. I prefer to sit in the Packing House common spaces... I need the elbow room. THE FOOD. - Loco Moco | This is under the Poutines Loaded Fries category, so expect fries instead of rice. Two wagyu beef patties, grilled onions, fried egg, brown gravy, cheese curds, fried onions, ketchup glaze, and green onions. You can share this dish or be selfish and pig out. I liked this dish, but ended up sharing because I honestly couldn't finish this on my own. Do yourself a favor and order a side of pineapple habanero ketchup! THE DRINK. - Cucumber Lemonade | Cucumber and zesty/sweet lemonade mixed together. It's a cool, refreshing drink to try out. I personally loved it! THE PARKING. There's a small lot at the north entrance of the Packing House, but you apparently have to get there obscenely early to snag one of those spots. Your best bet is finding parking around the intersection of East Santa Ana St. & South Claudina St. Parking was free when I went on a Saturday morning, but read those signs to make sure! COMING BACK? The Smashburger was decent. Had a little bit too much sauce for me. Light sauce wouldve helped this out but it was still decent. My wife had the fried chicken sandwich, and she wasnt pleased with the flavor. She said it was Bland. Shouldve tried the Philly Cheesesteak i suppose. Im from Bakersfield So next time maybe :). I've heard about this place quite a few times every time I'd tell a friend I've never tried poutine. Finally decided to give it a try when I saw there was one located in the Anaheim packing district! Parking is very hard to find for the Anaheim packing district so keep that in mind, but once you're able to get inside the actual building, it's such a pleasant space. Specifically for the Kroft, there was a long line but I didn't mind it too much. The menu was very interesting but overpriced. I got Braised beef poutine and hot Cheeto Mac & cheese after asking the cashier what was popular. It took about 20 mins which is long but I understood since it was so busy. We found a place to sit since the building had such cool vibes all around. Once I finally tried the food, I was pretty underwhelmed with both dishes. The fries in the poutine were soggy and there wasn't much flavor in the actual poutine. Maybe I should've tried a different flavor. Mac and cheese also lacked flavor unfortunately. We heard about the Anaheim Packing House while we were at a Logan O'Hoppe baseball camp in the area. We went in and looked around at all the different choices, and chose to eat at The Kroft. The service was great, super friendly employees. I tried the fried chicken sandwich with the jalapeño coleslaw. I feel like it was overall a decent sandwich, definitely big enough to share. I just feel like the chicken could have had a little more flavor. Maybe next time I would try it "extra spicy". Overall a great experience. The kids liked their chicken nugget kids meals. read more

I have been to The Anaheim Packing District about a dozen times since it opened 10 years ago, but I hadn't eaten here at The Kroft, until now. I got wind of their 10 year anniversary BOGO entree deal for today, so we went and there was a long line of course. It's located downstairs and has its own little seating area. They have a good amount of menu items, with a limited time menu revolving around Birria. I really wanted to try the Birria egg roles, but they had sold out. I ended up going with the Porcheta, which was pork belly on a ciabatta roll. It was good, but after adding some of the jalapeno coleslaw side, it was so much better! It was kind'a small for the price, although it was free today. I tasted the Loco Moco loaded fries, and that was delicious and definitely worth the price! read more

Oh em GOODNESS! This is a hidden GEM. The food was DELICIOUS! So flavorful, fresh and the price point was the cherry on top. We ordered the Wagyu smash burger, cheese curds, Brussel sprouts, wagyu fries, garlic fries and kids nugget box. Every single item was incredible. The detail in the flavor profiles was incredible. I also have a sensitive stomach and some food intolerances and I did not feel bloated or have any discomfort after eating. That is a sure sign of high quality and clean ingredients used. We absolutely love this spot. It's probably our favorite in the packing house. I ordered the country fried chicken poutine, and my wife got the braised beef. Both were ready fairly quickly and were super hot! I started to enjoy mine and downed mine in like 5 minutes.. my wife was still working on hers, and she had also asked for more sauce. The chicken was nice and moist. It's a bit crunchy, but it paired well with the gravy. Absolutely delightful. My wife enjoyed hers but got pretty full quickly and ended up just enjoying the beef and the pickled onions. The portions were very large. Mine filled me up, and I couldn't eat anything else the rest of the night. Lol. The ambiance was nice, and there were tables on the "inside" of their little restaurant, which was pretty nice. This was a very well made burger. I had the Peanut Butter Wagyu Smash Burger and it was excellent. For most smash burgers I am looking for crispy, crunchy edges on the patties, and this one definitely delivered. The potato bun was soft and tasty, and the crunch from the onions added a nice touch. I recommend eating it at the restaurant while some fries are still crispy. We also tried the smash burger which was delicious. Ended up ordering a cheesesteak and I also got some chili cheese fries and a couple of 24 oz beers to top off the meal. The cheesesteak was quite delicious but the cheese on the chili cheese fries was a bit too nacho cheesy for me in terms of texture and taste. I came here for lunch with a couple of friends last Sunday 3/9/25. My friend Bang picked this place because he is a huge fan of poutine. It has been at least ten years since I've been here at the Anaheim Packing House and so much has changed. The Kroft is located on the first deck in a small area with a few tables. My friend Bang ordered the French dip sandwich and a order of the poutine fries. Mike my other friend got the wagyu burger and garlic fries. I ordered the cheesesteak and regular fries. I originally requested chili fries but they were out of chili. I asked for the hot cheeto mac and cheese but they were out of the hot cheeto powder so I had to settle for regular fries. I thought about philly or loco moco poutine but thought that it would have been too much food. Overall everyone enjoyed their food. I thought the cheesesteak was excellent. I wasn't too much of a fan of the poutine fries. The regular fries was good and crispy. The garlic fries were ok but a bit soggy. I would come back next time to try the cubano, chili fries and hot cheeto mac and cheese. However, my friend Bang is one and done with the place. The staff was friendly and professional. After deciding that I really wanted to try their braised beef sandwich, I concluded that the classic poutine was the best accompaniment. The wife ordered the fried chicken sandwich and as someone who was scoffing "what the hell is poutine" and "cheese curds sound disgusting", I did not ask her opinion on what version to get. Again, I chose the classic version of poutine which was fries, cheese curds and brown gravy. The food took a bit to come up, but it was not a long period of time. They were busy and I wanted them to take their time making our meal. My name was called and I picked up the food and brought it back to our table. It all looked and smelled great. I dug into the poutine first and it was HOT! Roof of the mouth burning hot. We had to let it cool down a bit, but it was hard to not grab some more and suffer the consequences. Fries cooked nicely crisp. Cheese curds very good. Star of the show was the brown gravy. I wish I had asked for more or a side of the gravy as I like a lot of sauce, no matter the situation. This was great. Please order this when at The Kroft. The braised beef sandwich was a winner. Five hour braised beef, monterey jack and pickled red onions on a ciabatta roll. Yum, yum, yum. The beef was SOOOO good. Get it and you won't regret it. The wife's sandwich was fried chicken breast, jalapeno slaw and garlic mayo all on a potato roll. She really enjoyed it and said that the chicken was perfectly cooked, so juicy chicken in crispy shell. The person taking our order was very nice and patient as we asked questions.
