crab cake special on sundays = $9 for 2
    Trung N.

I've only had the original pan roast from Palace Station secondhand, so I can't attest to how spectacular it actually it is IRL. However, the version here is quite good and I'd rather not wait an hour at 3:00AM so there's that. I dined around 2:00PM on a Sunday. No wait, though it was Easter. Other people in our group didn't seem to have a problem with the wait during our 4 day stay either. They run daily specials here which is kinda nice. On Sundays, you get 2 crab cakes for $9. These were great - meaty with lots of crab. To start, we also shared the Caesar salad ($14.99). I like a good Caesar and the version here is a good one. It's a nice way to ease into your meal. Obviously, the real star is the pan roast. We ordered the Combination ($34.99). The creamy tomato stew has shrimp, crab & lobster served at your spice level. It's served with steamed rice and rolls if you ask for them. The broth was so sweet and savory - perfect over a bed a rice. It comes with plenty of seafood (though I'd order the Red Rock special next time only because it has both chicken and sausage). Delish. I feel like the Oyster Bar at Red Rock is an unfussy take at pan roast.

Alex excellent service he went above and beyond the call of duty. The ambiance is amazing and the menu is very well crafted for all! I am highly recommending this establishment for anyone visiting Red Rock Casino. This is the best spot for locals and visitors. Order the "Cold Seafood Combo~$28.99 great price.

Living in the Southwest Valley, Red Rock is a staple, and the Oyster Bar stands out for its quality food and excellent dining experience. There's almost always a wait during peak hours due to the limited counter seating, but the line moves quickly depending on your group size (the longest I've waited is about 30 minutes). The atmosphere is lively and a bit noisy--expected for a spot right off the casino floor--but the staff is incredibly attentive and friendly. One of their standout dishes is the Pan Roast, which typically comes with rice, though you can substitute linguine for a small upcharge to turn it into a hearty pasta. The rich, creamy tomato base is packed with generous portions of fresh seafood and sausage. They also feature weekly specials that draw big crowds, especially Thursday's Lobster Rolls.

Sizeable menu with attentive and friendly staff! I sat down at one of the bar seats and was greeted pretty quickly. I was there on a Monday so I went for the half price house oysters and got a bowl of clam chowder. My personal favorite are the Kumamoto oysters but they didn't have them here. The house oysters were quite large in size but they didn't taste like what I expected of raw oysters. They didn't taste like anything, just texture. The mouth feel and texture was fine. Something about the taste was missing for me. I liked their clam chowder. The bowl was a sizeable portion and I loved how thick the chowder was. It was a quick in and out meal for $28. Not bad.

I've been to the other Oyster Bar locations located at Station Casinos. This location is ok. Service was good but, the person cooking in the front needs to be more pleasant or at least smile at the patrons. She had a sour face. We ordered the Red Rock Pan Roast with extra rice. The pan roast tasted really good. I enjoyed the sausage and shrimp along with the other items in the dish. My friends enjoyed the oysters but said it was a bit big. Great spot for a quick bite.

So for their Thursday special, I opted to try their Lobster Roll special. I have tried the traditional oyster bar at Palace Station and thought there would be hours upon hours wait, but we walked right in and got seated at 5:30 pm. No line and it wasn't really busy. We ordered the two different lobster rolls since you cannot mix and match. The warm maine lobster was on a toasted roll and had such great flavor. The lobster was nice and had like bite. The chunks of lobster are evident. The cold mixed lobster was quite the opposite. It was hard to find the lobster bits as it had more of a salad/mayo mix. It was okay, but opted to not finish it. We still ordered the Cesar Salad which is always done well And... Pan Roast, due to the non busy nature, everything came out so fast that I didn't have time to finish a single plate before the next one was up. Not a terrible thing to have though. Overall it was good, but I feel like the portion sizes are a bit smaller for almost the same price. I still like the Palace Station better This one is definitely more "high" class ambiance with the white and royal blue color scheme. It definitely fits the hotel

If these pictures don't scream, "Go to the Oyster Bar", then please zoom in! This particular location was the best experience of all of the Oysters Bars I've ever had. An amazing staff person was hilarious and gave great customer service. He was a former performer on the strip, which I think helped with how attentive he was. He also was informative about the dishes, and he answered all of our questions. I usually get the pan roast with shrimp and crab, but having these lobster rolls on this bread was definitely the better choice and I will always get. The bread was soft, buttery and flavorful just by itself. The lobster was perfectly seasoned and the sauce coupled with it was seasoned well and added great taste. I had to keep reminding myself that I was in public and not to lick my fingers. The 2nd dish I can't quite remember the name of- it was crab in the shell with some sort of mayo sauce. It was good, but kind of saucey which I'm not into but if you are, go for it because the dish was still delicious. As far as the ambience... The Red Rock is just naturally classy and the Oyster Bar is along the lines of the same decor. I didn't think I would like sitting at a bar-like area and eating, but it made it a great experience.

$10 lobster rolls is what brought us here. You get two small lobster rolls but they are very filling with great toasted bread. You a taste lots of butter which is never a bad thing. The shrimp cocktail was fresh and the shrimps were very good. And I'm not a big oyster fan but I did try a fried one with some spinach and cheese sauce and can't say it was bad. We didn't have to wait in line like our favorite oyster bar closer to the strip so all in all it was an enjoyable evening. Next we have to try their pan roasts to see if they're any good.

The food was better this time. It was very good for a cold night. The new bread rolls aren't good but the seafood is fresh and sauce was good. Service was good.

    Steamers, combo pan roast

I've been coming here for many years, and this used to be my go-to spot, especially last year and years before. Unfortunately, my recent visits have been disappointing. Lately, the steamed clams have been extremely small. The larger clams are only available for half-shell orders, which feels misleading when you look at the display and expect big, juicy clams with a steam order. I also ordered a pan roast combo, and it was mostly soup. There were maybe four shrimp, and I didn't see any other seafood in the combination at all. You can't cut cost? You're in Summerlin I'm sharing this in hopes that someone reads it and makes adjustments, because this place used to be consistently great and I really want it to return to that standard. And please, bring back the King Crab nights. Those were the best.

This is a good place to visit if you were craving seafood during your stay at Red Rock. I have seen times where this place can get busy, but I rarely see it too full. I've had this place before for their pan roast, which at the time was somewhat decent. But my current review is more leaning towards the specials as it was pretty surprising to me. We came here on a Tuesday and ate the oysters which were $1 a piece. They were really good and tasted fresh. Also looking at the other specials would be the main reason why I'd be coming here throughout the weekend. The real surprise was when I asked them about their specials. Which ended up being two lobster rolls for $18. The lobster rolls were really good and really fresh. I'm not sure if the secret menu changes every day but I was pretty surprised by this. Being that we came here on a weekday, the place was pretty quiet. There were probably only 2-3 staff members there and we were the only customers. Based on just the specials alone, I would highly suggest giving this place a try.

    Fallon K.

Please go Hungry because you will leave super full. We went early and was able to be seated within 10 minutes After that the line was very long. This small bar is a must try. The food is amazing, full of flavor and fresh made right in front of your eyes. The service is equally great the fun. The cooks have fun conversations while making you your dinner. It's comfort food within a busy casino that doesn't disappoint.

Avoid this place. Oysters were small and not fresh. Also ordered a stew and seafood in it was not fresh.

I shouldn't have to clearly hear conversations that are happening to the tables next to us. It was definitely a squeeze getting in and out of the tables without interrupting the table next to you. Our server recommended getting two plates per person. The menu isn't designed to have appetizers or entrees per se, so this menu seemed like it's kind of a tapas place or kind of not? If the plates aren't appetizers or entrees and they're more shareable, then why would we only get 3 pork ribs pieces instead of 4? The pork ribs had great flavor. it was crispy, tender, and fall off the bone at the same time, but it would've been better if they added one more pork rib bone instead of 3. The whipped brie with blackberry and honey was a bit disappointing. Even after mixing the whipped brie and with the blackberries, there were barely any fruit or honey flavor. All I tasted was salt. The brie was too salty with no taste of fruit or honey. Moreover, the brie came with 2 small pieces of toast, cut into 4 pieces. There was definitely more brie than toast, so we requested additional brioche toast. Of course we got charged extra for the toast. I just think the brie to toast ratio should be better. It seemed like the plate was 85% brie and 15% toast. How are we supposed to eat the rest of the brie when the toast provided is gone? I did not enjoy more brie over brioche ratio. We also got the burger and trout. Both shareable portions. The burger tasted like a slightly elevated Big Mac but saltier. Trout was good and cooked seared with a medium rare center. Flavor wise, the trout and pork ribs were my favorite. Also, the smokin petal cocktail was perfect. Overall, the experience here was just okay.

The latter two are vegetarian and I wanted to go for a vegetarian friendly restaurant just for them. The olive oil tasting was my idea so I also had to choose the restaurant. My LTP and I actually went to a different tapas restaurant about a month ago and we loved it. So I wanted to try one of these again. Our tasting was scheduled to start at 6:00pm and I booked a reservation for 4:00pm through OpenTable. They have a very spacious patio, but due to the excessive heat warning in place at the time, we decided to dine inside. I didn't look at their hours of operation beforehand, so when we walked in, it was empty. Then I noticed that they open at 4:00pm on Saturday's and we were literally the first customers inside. We got a spacious table near the back of the restaurant, where our waiter for the day was Zach. He explained to us that all their food on the menu is based out of Spain, especially the paella, which takes about 40 minutes to cook and is meant to serve about two-four people. We started off with some drinks, where I got the mango margarita, my LTP and my dad respectively got the Atomic Duck and the El Pato Loco Mexican Lager from Able Baker, and my mom and my best friend's mom and stepdad shared a bottle of Chardonnay. While the margarita was on a bit of the sweet side compared to other margaritas I've had, it was still really good and it had a really fruity taste to it. We ordered the following and all six of us shared most of them; short rib pintxo, pork belly pave, patatas bravas, ole mis croquetas, iberico dates, and chicken tinga/braise short rib empanadas. Initially, I ordered just the chicken tinga for myself and my LTP was supposed to get the braise short rib, but my plate had chicken tinga and braise short rib together. That was ok, though, because both the chicken and short rib were absolutely delicious. The short rib pintxo came on a stick, with the rib falling off the stick as I took the first bite out of it. The pork belly pave was cooked perfectly. The patatas brava were spicy, but I would say 'good' spicy. The croquetas were overall one of my favorites; when I sliced it down the middle with my fork, the mashed potato filling spilled out of it. Hands down, Tres was a fantastic restaurant. The portions weren't too big or too small and everything here was so good. Would love to sit on their patio when the weather becomes cooler!
