Bread service two butters damn good!!!

AMAZING!!!! As a lover of Binkleys I will state hands down that Chef Stephen does not disappoint!!!! The food and the story it tells is incredible (talk to chef) seriously, it's heart warmingly delicious!!! The restaurant's ambiance is wonderful - intimate and warm. I felt like I was sitting in a friend's home. I can't say enough about the food and the service. From your welcome drink to the hot toddy just an incredible experience. Worth every cent and then some. Please try. Sooo good!!! Would fly here anytime for a great meal.

Can I make it a 6/5?! Anyone that has ever eaten at Binkleys will not only appreciate the new offerings of Chef Stephen Jones, but will no doubt make this a regular rotation to their fine dining calendar! Coming from out of town every November we have regularly made Binkleys a place to celebrate our anniversary. (Back to the Cave Creek days). Had to say hubby a little skeptical when I made this reservation (mostly because he could not remember the name for the life of him (that's what 30+ years will do to you!!!) This meal was worth every penny! The wine supplement was perfection from somm WeSomm and the courses just little bites of heaven! Loved the "snack course" especially the caviar with crispy chicken skin and savory tart. Ending with the apple "hand pie" was genius - as was the "homage" to Chef Binkley with the "hot toddy" Will recommend this dining experience to anyone that ventures to the Valley!!!!!

Wow. Larder and delta has taken the cullinary scene in Phoenix to the next level. I just dined at Guy Savoy last week and the service at The Larder and Delta I felt was warmer and more attentive. The food was excellent, everything was truly cooked to perfection. The drinks were truly amazing and I rarely drink and these were delicious I would drink them all the time if I knew how to make them. The ambiance is truly amazing. I love when you can watch the kitchen staff work.

Amazing atmosphere. I really loved the beekeeper cocktail. If you have been thinking about going you should definitely take this as a sign to go! Also shoutout to Chef Stephen and amazing bartender Jessa.

We had an amazing experience celebrating a special occasion at larder & delta. The sommelier Wesam is absolutely fantastic and even tailored our wine tasting experience based off of previous travel we did. The service is impeccable. There was not a single lapse in any part of our dinner service & there wasn't a single dish that wasn't artfully crafted. The ambiance is very cozy, and they only do one seating per night and the restaurant isn't very big which makes it that much more special.

It took like 20 min before they ordered drinks and 30 min plus before drinks were delivered! Crazy right? The first visit I got the burger and fries and it was delicious. The second time I got a steak medium well and loaded baked potato and the potato was very dry (like an older potato that was on its way out) and although I loved the overall flavor of the steak I had to eat around the edges only and avoided the center because not only wasn't it medium w no pink it was red! Also it had gristle and fat. For $44 it was a waste of good meat and I'm not one to ask a cook to throw it back in the grill when they should know how to produce different levels of cooked steak. The ambiance is a chill dim lit vibe and easy for conversations so that was great! The bathrooms are clean and smell good. Great mirror lighting too. But the front layout is odd, the hostess stand is right there so everyone crams in front of door and there's no barrier to the first large table so you're like staring at the poor people eating at that first long table lol! I think they need to switch up the entry layout and put up a half wall or decorative situation to tuck away that table a bit too. Just my two cents. Overall, I'd go again but it would be really nice if management saw this and trained staff on how to greet table sooner, take drink orders, and deliver said drinks timely for a more pleasant dining experience.

From the first bite, it was clear this wasn't just cooked food, it was made with intention. Hot, fresh, flavorful, and straight from the soul. Let's just say Tabitha Brown wasn't lying--everything is good. No exaggeration. This is comfort food done right. No shortcuts, no bland plates, just real flavor and care in every bite. Very delicious and absolutely worth the hype. Tips: Parking can be limited and the wait can be long, so come prepared. Stay cool, stay hydrated, and definitely use the restroom before you arrive. Trust me--you'll want to focus on the food once you get it.

The Nana's Soul plate used to come with more than two ribs, then it was reduced to two, and now it's down to just one unless you pay extra for another. The plate also used to include all three sides--mac and cheese, collard greens, and beans--along with cornbread. Now you're limited to choosing only two sides, and the cornbread is gone. It's disappointing to see how much the restaurant has declined since the beloved Nana passed away. I hate to say it, but I won't be returning.

Tucked back in a small building, just off Southern Avenue, you'll find Southern Fried. It is a small little walk in store front, so plan ahead to order out. We went ahead and ordered online to make things simple and easy. As shown on their building and advertised they show they serve Jamaican food so I was pretty let down when I looked at the menu to discover they do not have any Jamaican food. Seeing pictures of previous Yelp reviews of jerk chicken and oxtail left me bummed. We ended up ordering the fried okra, fried mushrooms, the 2 fish and 5 shrimp combo, along with the fried catfish and fries. We took our food to go and headed home, just around the corner. Once opening the containers i instantly got excited about the mushrooms. Anyone that knows me knows i am mushroom obsessed. With a quick dip in the ranch that came with and popping one into my mouth.... Yummmm! The okra was a bit of a miss. It seems they were still a bit slimy. Moving along to our main courses, I was disappointed to find that our fish was packed on top of our fries and the fries were very limp, soggy and unseasoned. I think packing the takeout differently could easily eliminate this issue. The catfish and shrimp were seasoned to perfection. They both had a perfect blend of spice and a light and crispy batter. I would love to see Jamaican food on the menu, as the advertising is a bit deceptive. Overall I would definitely be willing to try them again and would love to give one of their burgers a taste test.

CC's is a soul food type of restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. I visited for lunch about 3 weeks ago. I read the fried chicken is popular so I ordered the 4 piece version with sides of rice and gravy along with some maque choux and a biscuit for $21. The food arrived about 15 minutes later on a big plate. The chicken pieces had a dark brown crust and were quite good tasting. Not too crusty and with hot and flavorful meat on the bone. The rice and light brown gravy were good and the maque choux looked different from the South Louisiana variety but I still enjoyed it. It had corn, tomatoes, onions and bell peppers in it. I'll bet few locals have ever heard of it! The tablevservice was good too. This was a lot of food and I didn't finish it all but it was all good tasting and very close to real southern style cooking. I would be happy to return.
