Came here for a mani pedi with a groupon. We made a phone reservation and when we arrived the salon was empty. They have a solid selection of colors and willing to help give advice. Pedi seemed to be rushed and they barely did any massaging! When it came time for the nails, the ladies worked together to do my mani and pedi in the spa chair. Don't go here! I bought a Groupon for lashes and one refill. They honored the original set but charged $40 more for them. Not too thrilled but whatever. I come back for the fill and they refuse to honor the Groupon and demand $50 payment for the refill! I showed then the Groupon had only originally been used for the original set and not the fill and they said I was given a card for the "free," refill. The new girl who did my lashes two weeks ago NEVER gave me any sort of card. I told the manager (?) or whomever I never was issued a card and she yelled at me and said I lost it. I said again for the 4th time, I didn't loose it, I wasn't issued one and it's obviously just the one time fill since I was here two weeks ago. They flat out refused to admit THEIR mistake and demanded I pay $50. I said I wasn't happy and that I was never issued a card. They made me pay anyway. Don't ever go here. They did my nails okay, but don't get the lashes. Especially if you got a Groupon. Unless you're a frequent high paying customer they will rush through your appointment with poor quality and customer service. The lash technician was on her phone while doing my lashes, glue got in my eye. My eyes stung while I was driving out if the parking lot and I almost hit a pedestrian. The next day my lashes were falling out throughout the day. The employees were cold and unwelcoming. They didn't even smile at me or say anything other than how I was paying. I haven't been here for many years but it was one of my favorite places to stop by for my nail fixing needs back then. However now it's an okay place, they do get busy however I felt that the nail work was a bit rushed. My nail polish was a bit lumpy. When my nails were being filed I was a bit worried, she was working on my nails really fast. It was a bit painful. They are all very friendly but feel that they should slow down a little to give a bit more attention to the nail work. My mom got her eyelashes done here using a Groupon and they caused her to have an allergic reaction and caused her eyelashes to fall out!! She kindly went back to advise of her eyelashes being to bulky and uncomfortable. And got it touched up by the "manager" who put in more glue that was not for sensitive skin(which my mother specifically asked for), and her eyes and her eyelids were swollen almost shut. Due to the torturous pain she wanted to go to the hospital but ended up trying to take some off- it ended up causing her ACTUAL eyelashes to fall out with it!! Which shows improper instillation. She went back again to complain and got nothing, not even an apology. She is devastated and will NEVER come back here and we'll make sure to let all of our loved ones know to steer clear from this hack job!! read more

I'm not really picky when it comes to things, but I will never return to this business again. I bought the Groupon for $52 because I was going on a vacation and needed my eyelashes done. The lady charged me $80 extra and said I had to pay that much extra to get my lashes done. I'm quite awkward and paid it. I literally paid $132 total for my lashes thinking I was going to get a good deal. Apparently you aren't supposed to glue extension to multiple lashes because they grow at different lengths. She literally was gluing 4 or 5 lashes to one extension. As they're coming out, I can see all my natural lashes being plucked out PLEASE save your lashes and get it done somewhere else. I went there because I found cheap deal on Groupon, yet its service was more terrible than I expected. Since I paid $32 for 2 times of Mani-Pedi, I must tell I would not expect the best. First of all, they were very rude. I called three times to make an appointment for 2 days in advance as Groupon advised. When I asked the available time, she told me that 2 hours from now on same day and asked if I can do it or no, I of course said I cannot because it is too close, so she just hang out saying okey, babye. I was so surprised. I called again, yet almost same thing happened "hang-up on service side". I really did not want to go, but I did because I already paid on Groupon. When I arrived, there were no reception or any body who could guide me. They directly ask me to sit on Manicure table without even asking for what service I came for. When I told them I came for my appointment of Mani-Pedi set, then they directed me to sit on pedicure chair. The lady made my pedicure could not even speak English, so it was hard to understand her command, or my direction. For the service, my toe polish is removed in same day, when she was making pedicure, she plucked my toe nails so hard that caused bleeding. Both hand and toe, no cuticles are removed nor cleaned. For my hand, she cut my fingernails uneven with lots of up and down, and again didn't buffered it to make it even. So what did they do? Appointment was at 3 o'clock then waited 30 minutes to get helped was left at the front door just standing there. It took me a total of 3 1/2 hours to get a full set with a plain color and a pedicure. The lady doing my nails did a very poor job each nail looks a different shape and did not do any smoothing or shaping that I know needs to be done because I've been getting my nails done for 15 years. She cut my finger and tried to put alcohol on it without asking me first. The fireer had sliced a cut into the side of my finger and she continue using that same nail file and did not throw it away even though it had broke skin and there was a small amount of blood. And I got switched over to another lady who finished my nails she was on the phone the entire time and wasn't paying attention to anything she was doing. I had acrylic stuck under each of my nails and she I had to ask multiple times for her to use the drill piece to get that acrylic from under there. I got skipped over for the pedicure so I waited a good 40 minutes for them to even start my pedicure and that wasn't very good either. Long story short is that the ladies in there had absolutely no passion and what they were doing pretty much made me feel like I shouldn't have even wasted my time going there. I came here for a full set of lashes. I've had lashes in the past, and this full set took less time (about 30 min) than even some of my fill appointments. I was weary to begin with because she didn't introduce herself, nor did she clean my lashes before starting the application. The glue she used to apply the 3D clumps of lashes is terribly irritating and I could count at least 7 clumps of lashes that fell off my first day. I feel like my pedis are always better than my mani which is unfortunate. They take their time and listen to your request but I their shellac colors are limited and not always what they have on display. This time I wanted a lighter / pale pink #122 but it turned out to actually be kinda bright. They also don't get close to the nail bed, and then it makes my nail look kinda weird which you can see in the pictures. Some employees are really nice and others are less friendly. This place is a disaster! My first lash appointment at this business was not great but was passable. I am extremely particular about my lashes. I like them very short, a thick, so that they look natural. I normally go to a different business to have my lashes done. Unfortunately, the place I normally go was closed for a month while the business owner was on an extended vacation. I decided to try the Lash Brow in and in Nail Bar to handle my lashes while the place I normally go was closed. I took my own lashes with me, so I couldn't sure that what I was using stayed consistent. My first appointment with this place I was kept waiting for 30 minutes, but the lash technician was willing to use my lashes that I brought with me. She rushed to the procedure and failed to adequately protect my eyes. The glue burned so badly through the entire process. I began losing lashes 24 hours after they were applied. Still, I decided to go back for a second appointment and a second fill. I scheduled my second appointment while I was at the salon for the first appointment. When I arrived for my second appointment, they were fully unprepared for me to be there the girl who had done my fill the first time and scheduled my second appointment personally had failed to actually enter the appointment into the computer. As a result, I waited 40 minutes for the lash tech to be available to do my fill. Once we got back to the room, the woman asked me who had done my lashes. Last time I had to tell her that she went to do my lashes. This time she refused to use my lashes, but insisted she had the same style and type of lashes and would use hers instead. Again, my eyes burned through the entire process which incredibly rushed. It took half the amount of time that it normally does. When I sat up, I had these long dramatic lashes on my eyes that looked nothing like me and I was upset. the girl who had done my lashes called in the manager of the spa. She proceeded to lay me back down on the table and, using scissors, attempted to cut the lashes down to the desired length. I ended up with a complete hack job. The lashes were longer on the left eye than they were on the right eye, and I looked ridiculous. I was still charged the full price, $100, for a fill. This wasn't even a full lash set that I had received. It was just a fill. I would never go to this place again! They do whatever they feel like to you while completely ignoring what you have asked for. I have no other way to describe this place other than being a chop shop for beauty. Been going to this place on and off for about 3 years now for eyelash extensions and it's a hit or miss. But the last few times I've been, I can't stand laying there for the whole time because of how strong the scent the glue is. Even with a mask, the smell is so overwhelming that it burns. The aftermath of the eyelashes usually look great and I get so many compliments on them, but they fall out quick and when they fall out, they fall out in CLUMPS. They definitely use too much glue and attach the lash way too close to your lash line which is SO painful, I even got a stye once and had to remove them one day after I got it. If you care about your natural lashes, please do your research and go to a lash tech that knows what they're doing. It might be cheap and easier to schedule (which is why I continued to come here is because I could get a same day appointment most of the time) but it's not worth losing all your natural lashes for. read more

I purchased two Groupons for myself and a friend to use when she was visiting, but due to their lack of accommodations, we've had to leave in disappointment MULTIPLE times, even after having made appointments. I purchased a Groupon for a mani/pedi and 10 minute foot massage. I opted to do shellac on my toes (extra $15) and I got a design on my nails and toes which was an extra $5. The 10 minute foot massage was lacking - the only massaging was with a sugar scrub for 30 seconds then some lotion rubbed on my calves. I was very disappointed in that part of it. Why include it in the Groupon if most people don't receive it? The polish job was okay. My nails are already starting to wear on the tips just a day later and the paint next to my cuticles is really uneven. I think I may have found my new eyelash spot! I was recommended by a friend. To be honest I was very skeptical because it was a nail salon and I usually get my lashes done at lash lounges. The price was $50 for a full-set of individual extensions. Again, I was skeptical because it was so cheap but i decided to give them a try anyways. PROS: Quynh? (I think that's her name) was my technician and she did a wonderful job. I was surprised at how fast and efficient she was, I was in and out within an hour. My lashes were beautiful! The length was exactly how i wanted them. Price: Inexpensive. $50 for a full-set of extensions and $35 for re-fills. CONS: My lashes were done in the backroom. It was basically an empty room with two chair/bed to lay down on. It didn't feel very relaxing or comfortable. I felt they could have decorated a little more to the room to give it a lounge feel. So this truly is a fair review that all future customers should consider before making the decision to come here. It was only on Saturday that I made the decision that I would spend more money to go elsewhere. The first Lash appt was not bad. It was my personal first so I wasn't sure what to expect but I was not disappointed. The place is crowded and furniture set up poorly. It is so dirty for a salon. But I came back for a Lash fill 2 weeks later. This time was not as pleasant. There's a younger girl that works there (everyone's quite a bit older) and I've been quite unfortunate to have her service me the few times I've been. So really, it's hard to gauge how everyone else in their operates but I've had enough semi bad to bad experiences to never come back. She did my Lash fill and seriously, I thought I had done something to piss her off the way she was handling my precious eyes. BUT HERE'S THE REAL KICKER. The ultimate offense that caused this normally generous tipper to stiff a b&^%$. I normally get my nails done elsewhere. But on the spur of the moment, I asked if they could remove my shellac and just give me a manicure. Sounds simple right? Well, as she was cutting my nails down, I had to pull my hand back when she tried to cut real low. Thank goodness for reflexes otherwise I'd probably be in more pain. She asked if I was ok but it was one of those things where she just said it and I could've responded in a million different ways but she wasn't really asking to know. Just asking out of habit. Then when she was cleaning up my cuticles, she clipped onto a decent amount of skin and pulled and after I said "Ouch!" and pulled my hand back, she asked again if I was ok. I said, "No, it hurts." I mean I was bleeding! She poured a couple drops of that blue antibacterial stuff on it then said, "It's ok" which I followed up with, "No, it's not." And that was it! No apology whatsoever. She kept having to clean up the blood too and putting it into this hazardous waste container that had several bloodied cotton pads in it. Last month, I went in and the asked for a mani/pedi, she asked if I had a groupon. I said yes and she said "let me see when our next appt is". The next appt was over a week out. The salon had one customer and two staff members just chatting- I left and went to the salon right down the road. Since then I have called at least 6 times requesting an appointment and every time I call and mention that I have a groupon, they are "booked". I found my way here as what I thought would be a one time Groupon mani/pedi/eyelash deal. It's located 25 miinutes away from my house and I must pass at least 25 other nail salons along the way, but I've kept coming back. The quality of the work done on both my nails and eyelashes has been top notch. I posted some pictures that show both the longevity (as long as 4 weeks with not chips) and the creative work done by Vanesa. My eyelashes also last about 4 weeks and maintain a natural look. Love that I can get up, look in the mirror and feel like I don't need any eye make-up. Quyen makes sure to have the perfect balance, volume and length. I've not had any issues as others had mentioned in previous reviews. It's too bad that when someone isn't happy with their services they don't let the technician know right away or when they discover and issue. I know that MIndy the owner really cares about her customers. Note her responses to the comments. It may not be the fanciest or most conveniently located nail salon (for me), but with the results I'm getting and the reasonable prices they charge, I'll be coming back for sure! read more

I've been getting lash extensions at this salon for a while and I've constantly tried giving them feed back and constructive criticism about the way they were doing my lashes and they completely disregard and still use excessive amounts of glue and huge clumps of volume fans which is extremely damaging to your eyelashes, dangerous and very irritating to your eyes there has been countless occasions of unprofessionalism and they clearly care more about making money off of your lash fills and extensions than they do about the overall health of their clients natural eyelashes although when you first get them done they look very beautiful when your natural eyelashes start to grow out those nasty clumps will become irritated and pull all your lashes out leaving you looking crazy as hell with BALD eyelashes read more

For one she lied and said she had s curl. When I was finished it was C curl then proceeded to say oh we ran out that's why I put c curl. Red flag. My pedicure was excellent! She did an awesome job on cleaning and clipping and taking care of my feet. He technique of applying my polish on my nails was perfect! She was professional and personal. The lady who did my nails also did an exceptional job and work on cuticles and did a wonderful job of cleaning them up and she buffed my nails. I didn't use any color on my nails. These people are INCREDIBLY unprofessional! Especially the one who sits nearest the hallway.. she's a B@T#! Yes, this is a good price, but they are a business that does NOT have to offer a Groupon, so I do not feel that just because I'm redeeming a Groupon that service should be lousy. Not to mention, the polishes that they have on display are all old and almost empty, I have to bring my own if I want a decent polish. They rush you off of the phone when trying to schedule an appointment so they don't write down all of your info (don't EVER expect to be able to be a walk in at this place). They constantly overbook and then expect you as the customer to be okay with it when they can't complete all of the services you asked to have done when making the reservation. Then when you call them out, they don't care, say they don't represent the company and to complain to the owner (who also is never around). When I did complain to the owner, she didn't care either and acted like she couldn't speak English. Yesterday they even ha the nerve to tell me they didn't have time any more to do my waxing after my mani/pedi (even tho I requested it when making my reservation) but I could wait 1 hour and maybe then. Then another lady walked in with an appointment, and was told someone cancelled it in their useless reservation book, so now she gets to wait over an hour... They are RUDE, discourteous and try and scam you out of more $. Instead of having 1 person work on you, and you tip that person, without asking they will have 3 people work on you, rushing the process (I get a mani/pedi to relax and NOT be rushed) but they also expect you to tip all 3 people separately...the lady that sits by the hallway was BOLD ENOUGH to ask me if I planned to separately tip all 3. If you don't believe me, they even have to put the below comment right on Groupons webside: *Remember: Our customers tip on the full amount of the pre-discounted service (and tip generously). That's why we are the coolest customers out there. To me, you EARN a tip based on professional good service.. so, yes, I'm going to use my Groupon because I paid for it, but I sure won't let them overcharge, rush or shit me out of my paid for service!!!!
