Beautiful, well maintained grounds. Friendly staff, lovely views in a safe area. There are plenty of amenities as well.

Great par 3 course! Nice mix of short and longer holes. I was able to use my driver on several holes. The greens are very challenging with lots of ups and downs.

Great course! Staff were awesome and welcoming. As a beginner who was golfing on my own and never played the course, they were very helpful.

It was unfortunate that the South Course was closed when we were in town, but we enjoyed practicing our short game.

This course is set in an area with lots of elevation changes and some mountains. You can even see…read moremountain goats on some of the peaks, very cool! The course itself is demanding, lots of waste areas that you need to avoid. The conditions were good the day we played. The greens were excellent. I think that the clubhouse is under construction, along with other improvements. They were serving lunch and breakfast. Highly recommend the breakfast burrito. I would definitely come back and see how it develops.

SilverRock has the layout and potential to be a fantastic golf course, which makes the poor…read moremanagement even more disappointing. The biggest issue was I was also charged $45 for a non-golfer rider--the same price I paid to actually play the round. The woman at the front desk told me it was because my rider would be "taking away a cart" from another golfer. The irony? I was sent out as a single, so there never was another golfer to share the cart with. Charging someone the full cost of a round based on a hypothetical situation that never even happened is a ridiculous policy and left a terrible first impression. To make matters worse, I passed two marshals sitting in their carts with their heads buried in their phones. They could have easily helped me locate a ball if they were paying attention to the hole they were sitting on. The bright spot was the cart staff. They were friendly, cleaned my clubs, and even offered extra water as we were leaving. They provided the best customer service of the day. It's a shame because the course itself is enjoyable and has a great layout, but the overall experience is let down by poor communication, questionable policies, and poor management. With better customer service and transparency, this could easily be a course I'd recommend. Right now, it's hard to justify coming back.

Not the nicest of Golf experiences as I feel like they built a golf course on top of a dump site…read more The desert is more like where they have a lot of refuge trash that was dumped and never cleaned up. Also, there were zero shade trees so half the year will be unbearable direct son and the other half will be annoyingly windy. There are many more options available in the desert that you will appreciate spending a little bit more money for a better experience. This course simply poor maintained and has very limited amenities, bathrooms are disgusting, and range is low end.

The staff were great and helped us scoot out when we got there real close to our time. The course had that southern look with dormant Bermuda rough and nice green fairways and greens. Overall conditions were great. The greens were not super fast, but they were smooth and actually probably nicer than the Marriott shadow ridge course down the road. Course was fun and had appropriate challenge. Some of the bunkers and waste areas were a little rough around the edges but don't hit it in there! Scenery was also beautiful. Nicer I thought than the view from within a Palm Desert housing development. We didn't get a chance to use the driving range but looked to be pretty sizable with grass hitting area and large practice green.
