My husband has a gluten intolerance and we were able to request a gluten free bun and to indicate his allergy when ordering online without an issue. We loved eating at the picnic tables along the grassy area near the beach along with our puppy. It was so peaceful on a beautiful day. The only downside was a fairly long wait for our food once we ordered - which is to be expected on a beautiful Friday night. Next time we will know to order our food online sooner and then take our time driving over, which is not a problem at all!

Bay Pointe removes both claws from the lobster which I appreciate and puts the whole claw meat under the stuffing mix. On this particular day only 1 claw was found. When I inquired about the missing claw I was told it was cut up in the stuffing mix. First of all, I have been to this restaurant many times ordering this same dish. So, tell me why 1 claw meat would be cut up and not the other one. Once the explanation was given it was utterly bull. I've never had the claw meat cut up and mixed in with the stuffing and as far as I'm concerned it should never be an option to do that. If so, I probably would not order this dish anymore. I want to see my claws in it's entirety and not cut up. Bottom line lobsters have 2 claws not 1. Both should have been in the dish and basically it wasn't. This will not deter me from coming to this establishment, but please think about your response before providing an answer that doesn't make any sense. I can't wait for the patio to open so I can enjoy the outdoor rays.

If I'm meeting with family or friends in the Boston or Quincy area, I pick Tony's Clam box, they don't disappoint, they do get busy on nice days.

She told me it was the most popular item on the menu. I personally don't understand why. It is fried chicken with a slaw and on a bun with some sort of crumble on top. I was not impressed. The Chinese donuts were cold and old tasting; I was super disappointed. The shrimp steam rolls were very delicious! The ovaltine French toast is sweet. It has ovaltine powder on it and it's covered with sweetened condensed milk. It is tasty, sweet and a bit messy to eat but I enjoyed it. Iced coffee was strong. Iced soy milk is preferred over hot soy milk but that is just personal preference and it was over 90 degrees outside. It is a small cafe with limited seating at the window. The menu is on the wall. You order and when it's done they call your number. It is NOT ADA friendly. You have to climb stairs to get in. It was quite difficult for me as I was using my cane. This was my first Hong Kong style fast food cafe created by Chopped Champion and James Beard semifinalist Chef Laurence Louie and Rary Ratsifa. After going to another Hong Kong cafe nearby, and having something to compare this to, I would not return to this establishment as I think there are better Hong Style cafes with better food and ADA friendliness establishments.

She forgot to put in drinks and then go upset that the food I ordered wasn't up to par. Philly egg rolls - 4/10 they are definitely pre made, like weeks in advance most likely because they were so rubbery and hard to even bite. I mentioned this to the waitress and she demanded that they remake them vs me not wanting them anymore. (We ordered two orders of them and I only sent one back) Calamari 2/10 -it was soggy and then drenched in like a nasty marinara sauce. We made the waitress aware of this as well and she had it remade although I specifically stated I didn't want it, and would even still pay for it. Lamb burger 6/10 -the lamb was juicy but could use a little more flavor. The fries were soggy but okay BYO burger 3/10 - wasn't prepared as we asked, and it really just taste like ground beef and that's all. Even with the added toppings Cowboy burger 7/10 - wasn't bad but if it didn't have onion rings etc on it then it would taste bland like the other burger Lamb lollipops - 8/10 - these were good and had a decent amount of flavor to them. Could use a little sauce on the side but it was good Sweet heat wings 8/10 - these were really good and were cooked well. The sauce isn't too spicy and just the right amount of sweetness Drinks - Blueberry limeade 2/10 - taste like juice and had to go to the bar to ask for it because the waitress didn't put it in. When I went to ask the bartender if the drink was ready, since I couldn't find the waitress, she made the drink on the spot for me. Apple cider margarita - 5/10 wasn't horrible but the rim on the glass was excessive and mainly taste of cider.

Any true New Englander knows what makes a lobster a lobstar! And the Lobster Stop in Quincy shines bright among a sea* of competitors in the area =) Both a seafood restaurant and market, the prices here are always very reasonable, and are comparable to the price that you would pay in your local grocery store, with lobsters starting around $4.99/lb for chicken lobsters, and between $6.99 to $8.99 for larger lobsters, depending on size. But if you're not in the mood to cook yourself, the Lobster Stop has a great menu, consisting mostly of fried sea food; so if you're in a healthy eating mood, this isn't going to be the place to get your salad fix. They also serve steamed lobsters and clams which are served to order in house only--this isn't an item you can order and take home with you; but why would you do that anyway? By the time you get home, the meat inside the shell will overcook while steaming in its shell and ruin it. So, if you want steamed lobster eat it IN house or at YOUR house to avoid chewing on rubber and throwing your money down the toilet. Who likes elastic lobster? NOBODY! Though the food on the menu at the Lobster Stop is top shelf and super fresh, the lobster roll steals the thunder from all the other items on their menu. The hubbs was born and raised in these parts, and he has sampled many a lobster roll in his day, and he has confirmed that in his 40+ years, the Lobster Stop's roll is the best he has ever had. It is loaded with lobster meat that is lightly mixed with mayo and small bits of celery for texture. They let their lobsters speak for themselves, and don't over saturate them with mayo and kill the natural sea flavors. So if you're feeling guilty about the lack of veggies eating here, feel better that the additional calories weren't loaded on with globs of caloric, belly-busting mayo. This is has become one of my favorite spots, as become evident by my frequent visits (I'm averaging 2-3 times a month--yes, it is THAT good). The freshness of the food has to be accredited to the Lobster Stop's owner, Peter Dawson, who has been a lobsterman for over 30 years. As one who catches and consumes the lobsters, I can't think of a better a person to open up a place that serves them. I hope that the Lobster Stop stays around for years to come, as this is the kind of place worth shucking out money for! I always know that I am going to get a great product when I come here, and have yet to be disappointed. The Lobster Stop is located at the foot of the Fore River Bridge in Quincy Point, on the border of North Weymouth, on Rt. 3A. It is nestled in between the bridge, the USS Salem and the MBTA Commuter Boat. Parking has never really been an issue for me, but I can't speak to days where they have lines out the door. Stay Away for Your Safety - A Disgusting Experience at The Lobster Stop, Quincy MA I had the most appalling experience at The Lobster Stop in Quincy, MA, and I feel compelled to share it to warn others. This place is beyond disgusting. Firstly, upon entering, I was greeted not only by the smell of stale seafood but also the sight of rats scurrying about. It was absolutely revolting and immediately made me question the cleanliness and safety of the establishment. But it gets worse. As I observed the kitchen area, I was horrified to see the owner reusing leftover sauces and dishes from previous customers for new orders. Not only is this unsanitary, but it's also a blatant disregard for the health and well-being of the patrons. Needless to say, I lost my appetite and couldn't bring myself to order anything. The thought of consuming food prepared in such a careless manner made me feel physically ill. I urge anyone considering dining at The Lobster Stop to steer clear for their own safety and well-being. I would not feed my dog In this place the new owner is a bigot,and a compulsive liar I used to work there I was the head chef , i try to train people whom th don't read or understand English it was horrible, I put off my operation for about three months in pain, so I've hadn't enough ,so i taken my next surgery date that came up,. So after the surgery I came back just for Johnny the new owner of the lobster stop , to sign a peace of paperwork that the previous owners written up for me too show proof I worked there and he refused, then he passed it on to his accountant who also refused to sign the pa for unemployment so I could not receive any payment it's been 7 months, , and also like to add I keep telling the cooks and prep persons to wear gloves when mixing lobster salad and the cole slaw and they refused every time,and the lobster meat is purchase frozen it's not fresh just so you know , the new owner change everything I would not even buy a hot dog lol THEY DONT WEAR GlOVES , Especially if you call in for an order they don't wear the gloves they put them on when you walk in the store this is Brian Johnson former cook at the Lobsterstop read more

The Lobster Stop is one of those holes in the wall that you just have to try at least once if you're in the Quincy area. If you enjoy seafood you will love this place. What they lack in ambiance they make up for in delicious flavor and great portions. Their menu definitely leans heavily toward the fried seafood so if your more of a healthy seafood lover, this place might not be a good fit for you. I had the Lobster Roll and it was great. It comes with chips and a pickle, which is nothing special, but it's all about the Lobstery goodness. I definitely recommend the Lobster Roll. Their location is fantastic, just off the rotary on 3A, just before the bridge to Weymouth near the USS Salem. Stopped to eat on our way to a Boston Bruins game. Plenty of room to sit down and eat. The seafood was great! I ate the fried fisherman's platter and my daughter ate the fish and chips. The Haddock fillets were nice and thick and tasty. Seafood was fresh and delicious! Portions were generous for the price. The staff were very friendly. I had the fish sandwich with the onion rings and it was very good. The fish was thick and the bread was very fresh. I would go back in a heartbeat and order the same thing. One of Dee mav's hotspots. Everything is fresh. They got plenty to choose from and to wait forever to get your plate. There's never an employee just walking around aimlessly. Everyone is working. Not a lot of inside space or parking but no big deal. Lobster rolls are a must have here. read more

This isn't your regular American seafood market. 1 - they cook here, so you can order your fish raw to cook at home or they'll cook it up for you for a fee. What other seafood market are you going to be able to order your fresh seafood cooked with ginger and garlic , salt and pepper, or with tamarind sauce? 3 - that catering menu includes options such as Vietnamese fried rice, snails (coconut or with salted egg yolk), rice paper salad, and Vietnamese egg rolls. You can also get your fried seafood here, served with fries and cole slaw. Softshell crab is a rarity to see on a fish market menu, or so it seems to me. The six pieces were three crabs, each split in half. The crabs themselves were a bit on the small side, but I definitely would come back to peruse more of their menu.

They were huge, fresh, sweet, and juicy with a crisp breading. The shrimp dish is actually big enough to share. The fries were good but not the best on the island. I also tried the crab cakes. They had decent flavor, but if you're used to steakhouse style lump crab cakes packed with crab meat and served with an amazing aioli, these will probably disappoint. There was noticeably more filler and breadcrumbs than crab, which wasn't what I was hoping for. My sister ordered mozzarella sticks and a burger and fries, and she enjoyed her meal. Overall, I'd call Chantey at Marina a solid mid tier restaurant. The service was exceptional, but the food just didn't live up to the location or my expectations. MIA Yeung, Board Chair presented her opening remarks and then presentation of this Historic " Moon Award ", to Jimmy Liang - Chairman and Founder JP Fuji Group and Restaurateur, For his Commitment in Supporting the Korean American Community and for Helping KACL - NE meet its Goals to Support KACL - NE Scholars. Jimmy Liang accepted and gave a speech of Thanks!
