I went here with friends for a bday party. This is kind of a dive bar, but really popular with the locals. Also, there's not a whole lot open in Renton after hours, so this seems to be the place of choice. I was told that their food was good so I was excited to to try it. I ordered the nachos and the wings. The nachos were actually okay. They didn't come with any guacamole, but they had other delicious toppings, accompanied by sour cream and salsa. The bartenders were extremely rude the whole night and didn't pay attention to any of the patrons. They made me get up from the bar and go stand in line to order a drink. One of the bar tenders immediately started the night by joining in a small dumb argument people at our table were having telling us her opinion and telling us we are wrong (sober me looked it up and she was incorrect) she threw off the vibe instantly. I've been meaning to try this place out and had time today for lunch. Glad I did. The food was delicious. (I went with the bartenders recommendation of the California burger, the picture doesn't do it justice. It was so fresh and tasty.) The atmosphere was casual and friendly. The place itself is clean, spacious and well laid out. The menu had a decent variety of food. Appetizers, salads, burgers, and sandwiches. It also has a good selection of beers but since I was on the clock, I was not able to partake. Next time when I'm off work. Went here yesterday to watch the Sounders game. Whipped out the I-Phone & checked Yelp for a place to go. Texted bro-in-law who lives in the area to ask if he had ever been. He said he went once when it used to be D & C's. He said it used to be "ghetto". We were brave & decided to check it out. Man am I glad we did! They had the Sounders match on the big screen. There were approximately 10 of us fans there in our Sounders gear to watch it. We were quickly greeted & offered menus & drinks. Chose an Ironside IPA for myself & hubby had the Burnside IPA. The menu had plenty of things to choose from. I opted for the reuben with sweet potato fries. While not the largest reuben I've ever had, the meat was some of the tenderest. I hate it when you get a reuben with big hunks of tough meat. Nice & ooey gooey melty with cheese,kraut & dressing. :) Hubby ordered the fish & chips. Their regular fries are good too. The 4 pieces of fish he received were a little on the small side. But it was enough for hubby. Our waitress Jenny was amazing ! She was working alone in the front while the chef worked the kitchen I'm assuming alone. Reinforcement arrived to help her in time for the evening crowd. Worst restaurant ever. There has never been any other bar to make me cry. And the hardest part is, I dont really know why this happened. What I do know is, if you like a spicy marg this is the place to go. However, Carrie ( I believe the owner) is honest to God one of the meanest people I have ever met. If she's having a bad day, so will you. I'm not saying this is a bad place to dine, I'm just saying not all dining experiences are the same. I tried over three years, three different times, but the attitude of this woman never changed. Overall we had a terrible experience. The one redeeming quality was that one of the bartenders was super nice and accommodating... The other bartender, Chloe, made a bad situation much worse. We were there with some friends and as my friend came back from the bathroom he had to squeeze between two people to get out of where the hall let out to the tables. A gal turned a snapped at him for touching her because he bumped her as he squished through, he apologized and came and sat down. As he did the gal's BF comes and starts screaming at two of my friends for grabbing his girlfriend's butt. We are confused, asking him to back off, trying to figure out what is happening. The bartender runs across the room, grabs a pool cue and whaps it on a table and screams at my friends to get out, which scared the Dickens out of all of us. My friend steps outside and talks to the boyfriend, explains the situation, the BF apologies, shakes his hand and after collecting himself after a scary situation he goes back inside. We go up to the bar to pay our tabs and start chatting with the other bartender to explain what happened because she was also shocked and confused. The gal who accused him was not satisfied and goes behind the bar to tell them to make us leave, while we are already closing our tabs to do just that as we didn't feel safe. Chloe continues to mutter under her breath the whole time and told my friend to leave again when he went directly from outside to the bar to close his tab. What happened to the people that came over to our table to scream at us and threaten to fight 2 of my friends that were just sitting there? They weren't asked to leave and continued to have a great time like nothing happened. I understand why she would ask us to leave. The situation could easily have escalated, she wanted to end the fight quickly, and it would have been bad for the bar and the people in it if it got worse. I simply I do not agree with the way she handled the situation. Menacing with a weapon was uncalled for. And if you are going to kick people out you should kick out all the parties involved or the ones that started screaming and threatening other patrons. To top it off, my BF posted a review talking about this and the bartender went out of her way to find him on Facebook and send him a message... Totally unprofessional and just plain weird. read more

Finally tried this Renton spot after seeing good reviews. Elevated Tavern food, big portions and good service. Great burgers.

They're now open for takeout! We are so happy they've opened back up and really enjoyed the poutine and wings again. Told us they're planning to open indoor seating soon if you're up for that so keep an eye out. read more

This place has some of the best food in Renton. My husband and I eat here regularly. We love pretty much everything on the menu. They also have a great local beer list. My favorites are the reuben, chicken and waffles, fried pickles, and the cuban, but everything is seriously good. read more

I'm super bummed to be giving a low rating at what used to be one of our favorite places. I'm glad this place has survived the pandemic and we have been supportive throughout. However when we went in last night and ordered the BBQ pulled pork nachos (probably had 20 times prior) it was very disappointing. Half the amount of nachos were plated and definitely not as much flavor in the BBQ pulled pork. Just was average pulled pork. I'm not sure if they are charging the same prices and providing less? Supply problems? We used to rave about these nachos and tell everyone to come here to eat. Not any longer. Service was also super slow and not attentive. The Local 907 is the only bar in downtown Renton (that I know of) that has a shuffleboard table! That immediately brings it to the top of my favorite bars list. In addition to shuffleboard, there is a pool table, some dart boards, and a few pinball machines. These are all fun ways to occupy your time while you're slurping down beer. Enough about the games, time for the important part, the beer! They have a ton of local beers on tap and they change often. There is a big chalk board that lists all the beers they have available, along with their price. The beer prices aren't terrible, but they still aren't cheap. They have a great happy hour until 7pm with lots of food options. And their regular food menu has a good selection of burgers and sandwiches. This particular bartender had a chip on his shoulder towards me to no particular reason....well probably because of his own arrogance honestly. After finishing with my food he asked me if I wanted another beer, I said "yes please". Well that been never came and by this point I was on the phone with a friend. While on the phone this guy asks if I wanted another beer yet again. I pointed at my empty glass and nodded my head gesturing an undeniable YES! Did it ever come??? Nope! After I was done with my call I asked for another beer yet again and he just looked at me tone cold and said, I "asked you before if you wanted a been and you pointed at your empty glass, I had no ideas what that meant so I didn't give you one".... For god sake man!! I didn't come to this bar for a bad time or to fight this this pathetic bar tender. I came here to relax. This is the reason I give this place two stars. Don't come for the food- less than normal quality bar food. Was craving a tuna melt and theirs almost couldn't be more basic. Tuna had nothing it except way too much miracle whip, plain white wonder bread that was almost indiscernibly toasted, overall very bland. We are from out of town and stopped in after the airport and on our way to our destination. The drinks were good, Bloody Mary was good but we are from Wisconsin and Bloody Marys are all we do.... that being said. Salt on the rim rather than celery salt was weird too. The food was good. Came in here last night for the first time. Lucky for me, I happen to come in on comedy night. It was so packed, barely any tables available and it was Monday night! My boyfriend and I ordered a classic local burger and hummus plate. Honestly, best hummus I've ever had around. The portions are huge! Lots of pita bread, feta cheese, olives, cucumber and tomato. Best part? Their hummus is homemade. This place is located right across arcade 8 bar. Customer service was excellent, our server and bartender Andrew was very friendly and outgoing. They have a slammin' Happy Hour! Their burgers are legit and so many styles to choose from. They honestly have some of the best burgers you can find in downtown Renton. I ordered the Gouda burger with sautéed mushrooms and smoked gouda, cooked medium rare and it came out perfectly made on a soft and toasted bun. I subbed for the onion rings which were wonderful. Due to Covid protocols, they are requiring vaccine cards + ID cards to dine in. Service is consistent and the staff are attentive and super helpful. read more

My new favorite local bar. Serving Downtown Renton, they have tons of fun weeknight events (trivia, bingo). Happy is 3-6 M-F. I've only really had happy hour eats, but it has all been delicious. I've tried both the regular nachos and the 'totchos' (nachos made w tater tots), both so good! I only wish they came with guac. I have also had their buffalo wings which are cooked very well. The buffalo have a good amount of spice and the Dragon (aka teriyaki) comes with a side of rice. I haven't tried their burger yet, but they all look great! Stopped in with some coworkers a couple weeks ago for a coworker's last day. It was a Saturday night with a few big college football games on and a popular fight (don't ask me, I don't watch boxing/MMA/etc.), which meant the place was pretty packed. It was hard to find a table at first but eventually we snagged one conveniently a few feet from the bar. I was only expecting to grab a few drinks (they've got Manny's, like everyone does, which is always an easy win for me) but ended up getting a burger as well. It wasn't too hard to grab a beer even though the place was busy and the bartenders had a ton to do. The burger I got was the California Burger, which like any California dish that involves two pieces of bread, the main tenets are essentially bacon and avocado. Even though it was falling apart in my hands by the end, the burger was pretty delicious and so were the fries. I'll rarely complain about a decent burger and this one at least met my expectations if not more. read more

My friends and I came here for a going away party. It was not too busy on a Friday night so it was easy to find a seat for the group of us. I heard that the burgers were a must try so I ordered the California burger with onion rings (they were out of tater tots). My friend ordered the Western burger and we ordered the poutine for the table to share. The burgers were just as delicious as everyone said they were.
