My husband and I came out to Temecula to spend our anniversary. We typically have gone to Santa Barbara, Los Olivos, Paso Robles, or Napa to celebrate big celebrations. I wanted to cross Temecula off our list. I will say most of Temecula has been extremely disappointing. However, this restaurant was amazing!!!!! We ordered the pretzel, patty melt, and the hamburger with blue cheese. The pretzel was so soft and had the perfect amount of salt and was served with a yummy cheese sauce and mustard. The blue cheese hamburger is something that I will dream about. It was perfectly balanced with a jalapeño jam of some sort that provided sweet heat that went with the funk of a blue cheese. The patty melt was served on the most perfect crusty sourdough bread. The ambience itself is extremely welcoming, and we had the best service brought to you by Alicia. They had a nice beer and wine selection & of the places that we found were actually extremely dog friendly. Alicia provided a lot of recommendations for future trips and insider tips, but her hospitality is one of the reasons why we would go back to the local provisions!!! Shoot even Temecula! read more

My husband and I had not been here before, but some friends suggested we meet here for dinner last night. This is a very casual restaurant located in the Vail Ranch Headquarters. The restaurant is pretty small inside, but they have additional seating outside. You order at the counter and then they bring your food out to you. If you want an alcoholic beverage they have many different beers and several wines to choose from. I ordered the lobster tacos (forgot to take pictures because we were so hungry). My order came with 3 street size tacos, but they were loaded with lobster. They were a little spicy, but very good. My husband had a Reuben sandwich he said he liked. His sandwich came with fries and included a side of ranch which I thought was nice because you usually have to ask for it at most restaurants. I snuck a few of the fries and they were very good. Everyone in our group enjoyed their food. The only cons were the flies that kept bugging us while we ate outside (but I guess that's inevitable) and that our food took quite a long time to come out. Other than that, we had a good meal here and prices were reasonable. We will be back. read more

Ordered Mahi mahi tacos, the kick in it was great; Lobster tacos was a surprise. It was great. There were a lot of lobster in them. And the carne asada fries. It comes very saucy, so if you like your fries not soggy, order them with sauce on the side or less sauce. Place can get loud at times, but thats a given. Got The Local hamburger with garlic fries and the Reuben with garlic fries. Each meal is enough for two adults. We ended up bringing half of ours home. You order at counter inside and they bring to table. Very very casual spot, mostly wood picnic tables outside and smaller tables inside. It smells delicious inside if you love garlic. Their garlic French fries (think the best shoestring fries) are so good! My burger was so good but messy with a thick hand made burger patty, lettuce, tomato, grilled onions, and oh my the cheese. It was thick and gooey and fun to eat. Loved my burger! The Reuben was also good I'm told. It must have been as I was not offered a bite and conversation stopped after his first bite. They have lots of great patio seating, just go inside to order first. They'll give you a number and then bring your food out to you. They have a lot of great alcoholic beverage options, but for obvious reasons I went with the capri sun because WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME I HAD A CAPRI SUN?! It was delicious. Fruit punch forever. I ordered 2 pretzels, one for my friend and one for myself. I didn't realize how HUGE they were. Definitely can be shared between two people, but not TODAY! It was warm, soft, buttery and salty. It was served with a spicy mustard and beer cheese. I wish it came with more beer cheese cause I wanted to drink it from the cup it was so good. I would recommend to sit outside, if the weather permits, and enjoy great surroundings of the Vail Headquarters. I liked the menu as it offered something for everyone. You can opt for meat, veggies, or vegan selection. The food we ordered was well prepared and seasoned. The flavours were good too. I would be happier with a bit more chicken on my salad. The chicken was definitely good but not much of it for the extra pay. Mediterranean salad was fresh and had right amount of vinaigrette that balanced all components well. Street style Tacos with lobster were very tasty and packed with fresh ingredients. Also, you won't find a problem finding the right beverages to accompany your food. Loved the pretzel and the cheese, only recommendation is it is too much for 4 or less people, would be nice to offer one pretzel with cheese for say $8.00 or $9.00? Always wanted to come here but never got around to it. Cute place tucked in the back of Vail Ranch plaza area. Brought the kiddos here, & the Carne Asada Fries were a hit for the appetizer. I opted for the Salmon BLTA w/ garlic fries while my partner had the Reuben. While only one guy was working the front as both bartender and Jack of all Trades, he was attentive and patient with my kiddos' orders. Loved that he invited me to try the wines before I committed to one, and his selection of the Cabernet Sauvignon was spot on. It can be a little pricey with drinks for the kids (no refills as cans only) & you do have to pay for ranch dressing or any side dips. No bathrooms but for the public ones on the side - so a challenge when you're the only adult with kiddos. (Also, on a side note, saw another couple buy beer from the bar but then brought in pizza from another place. Really a pet peeve of mine, as someone who has friends who owns and works in the restaurant business. They should sit outside in more of the community spaces, instead of bringing in food from another joint). Otherwise, really love this space & will return again to try other eats. When we first walked in it was empty with just a couple at the bar, but after a half hour in, the crowds flooded in. Can see how this place is packed on weekends as people are out and about running errands and want to grab something tasty. Recommend this place for a cute local night out when you don't feel like getting overly dressy and not in the mood to head into Old Town or elsewhere. Causal vibes but also elevated. The is a hidden gem in Temecula, the food is amazing and their craft beer selection is fantastic. This one of the few places you can get Russian River beers on tap as well as in bottles to go. The service is always up beat and friendly. The vibe is super hip and rustic at the same time. Restaurant is clean so that a huge plus for me. My favorite food item is the PB&J burger, this thing packs flavor. It has a habanero jelly that is spiced just right and tastes amazing. I also love their Korean pork tacos as well as many other items on the menu. They also have a good kids menu for the little ones which is also a huge plus for families that want to go out and eat great flavorful food. They do carry a nice selection of wines as well and the patio seating outside is nice because the kids can run around and have fun well you seat and enjoy your food and drinks.
