The ambience provisions is very pleasant. It seems like a local hangout because a lot of the patrons seem to know the staff. Their their portions are huge. The only significant challenge that I had is that I have a huge issue when establishments prompt for a tip as soon as you place your order. Because I had to walk up to the counter and put my own order in that didn't seem right to me. And a tip based on Service not before Service. The frustrating thing is the girl that was clearing. We stopped in here traveling through town, this place is so chill, the music is nice, the workers here are very helpful, had help from the bartender Derrick also very knowledgeable about the food. I got the patty melt and it was delicious. My partner got the salmon BLTA sandwich and he was very satisfied. The drinks are local, we were able to taste wines to see which one we wanted. Went here on a whim on a Friday night. This place has been on my list for awhile. Needless to say, I WILL be back. Not only do they have great beer and local wine selections, but their food is delicious. We got the pretzel for an appetizer and it was huge and yummy! I loved the house made beer cheese and mustard. For my meal, I got the lobster grilled cheese and I was astounded by how much lobster there was on the thing! Especially for the price, the sandwich was well worth it. The fries were great too! If there was one thing I could change, I wish they had good house made ranch. The ranch was the nasty Hidden Valley stuff. Service was very nice and attentive as well. And I loved the decor. First timer here. Very nice. We had salads. A Greek with chicken and a house with salmon. Very generous on the meats and bountiful choppings. Unique wine menu with local and obscure labels. Only one suggestion. Convert the porch service area to a nice table and hide that service stuff like the dish rack and the big plastic trash can. Outside trash cans attract flys and so will the used dish rack. Plus they'd pick up a nice porch area for six settings table out of the sun and wind. Other than that, I loved it. read more

The Vail Headquarters already offer an awesome hip/western atmosphere within the heart of Temecula. Located within, is " The Local Provisions." We are a family of 5 with kids ranging from 13-18 yrs old. We were pleasantly surprised to find a food offering to make everyone's stomachs happy! I want to start out by also saying that this place has a hip feel without being uninviting. This place isn't stuffy. Just great food, great vibes (and great beer).Families and even dogs are welcome!! The great thing is you could sit outside in the patio and take your time eating while your kids play in the grass in the courtyard! My wife had the grilled cheese lobster sandwich and I had the Korean BBQ tacos which were both amazing. It's going to be a tough choice between the two on our next trip. The meat in my tacos was moist and flavorful and the lobster grilled cheese had an almost soul-food feel. Our kids each picked a different flatbread/pizza and the garlic fry basket was huge! Even then, the five of us happily finished them! What was a surprise was the awesome beer selection. At the back there are numerous coolers stocked with bottles and cans of both local and not-so-local / hard to find craft beers. There were also some beers on tap, some seasonal which was cool to see. I could see this being a place where the experience will be the surprise of "I wonder which cool beer they'll have this time!" All the while eating tasty food. If you're a bit of a beer connoisseur, you'll really enjoy this place as well! While seated, numerous people came in as strangers and ended up conversing around the beer coolers, sharing their personal beer preferences and experiences. Cool atmosphere. (If your a sports fan, they had an NFL Sunday game playing on one of the screens). The owner, Gabe, was very attentive not just to our table, but to everyone who entered. Same vibe as Cheflavor, even similar menu. I had the vegetable sandwich and my friend had a chicken pesto flat bread. Both were excellent and what we had come to expect from Cheflavor. New owner said some of the kitchen staff were the same, and they are adding new things to the menu. The cooler at the back doesn't have the drink selection they used to, but it's basically the same place, thank God. It will continue to be a favorite stop for me. read more

Wanted to love this place but we were so disappointed. We waited about 45 minutes for our pretzel appetizer. Then another 10 minutes for 2 of our entrees, and another 8 minutes for our kids flatbread pizzas. The pizzas were undercooked. Burger had a lot of potential but was raw in the middle. Cuban sandwich was on thin pita bread and only a slice of meat. Very underwhelmed with this experience. If your food is taking long to prepare bc you are backed up or short staffed it should be told to the customer when ordering... waiting an hour for undercooked food was a shame. read more

My husband and I went on a Friday night 6/14/2024 - we went after going to the new bare knuckle brewery. We waited about 50 minutes before we asked for a refund. When we asked for a refund the staff showed no remorse for the long wait and we saw 2 of the cooks drinking at the brewery before we headed over there. I hope the best for this company. However, communication with the guest seriously matters. From a consumers viewpoint, it's like they don't care. Don't you want to change that? Then communicate.
