Nice, clean spot with yummy food and drinks. The OJ is freshly squeezed! I had the English breakfast and my husband had the pancakes with fruit. His only complaint was that the pancakes were small but he loved it otherwise. My English Breakfast was yummy but the bacon was a bit saltier than I expected. Server was super friendly and prompt. Wow,... just "Wow". This place was amazing !! They seem to cater to the Americans, with American type plates: avocado, toast, (which they made special ordered with egg whites), scrambled eggs -- also known as strapped eggs -- with bacon and cheese bread. They made me a salmon salad special ordered with scrambled eggs on top. It was all amazing. The orange juice was fresh squeezed, not from concentrate. The service was also top notch. Alessio couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. With lack of knowledge of the language and customs regarding restaurant etiquette, the Italians are often annoyed with the Americans. Not here. a wonderful outing near the vatican. it is kind of pricey compared to the other restaurants and seems more of a grab and go spot. i got the charcuterie board along with some aperol spritz. i would recommend here for snacking but not if your hungry and the drinks are boozy check it out! there is barely any space indoors and it gets hot during the heat but they have outdoor seating. i like the service the people are friendly and are great vibes. the food is alright it's more of a sip spot. read more

This was a cute, quaint little cafe that I definitely will be coming back to. I had the waffle and my other half had the pancakes which was accompanied by fresh fruit. The orange juice served with it was freshly squeezed and hit the spot. My waffle was soft but crunchy, if that makes sense...lol. The syrup tasted like it was baked inside. It tasted like a little crunchy cake! As I stated earlier, I will be visiting The Loft again while I'm here in Rome and you should give it a try! Ciao! read more

I really enjoyed the food here! The panini that I got was made of cheese and ham and although it was simple, it was spectacular. I did not really like the bread, but the portion size was very large, so I just removed the bottom slice of bread. I also got the antioxidant smoothie, which is organic, fresh fruit juice and was also amazing. The cheese and meat board was good, but not as good as the other ones that I have tried in Rome, so I would say skip that. They gave us very average, normal cheese and meat you could get in an market in the U.S. Good food and great atmosphere, all while being a 30 second walk from the vatican museum. 5/5! read more

Went here for a quick bite before doing a morning tour of the Vatican. Couldn't take a good pic of the menu due to bad glare but the waffles and pancakes are now priced at 7.50. And they are significantly smaller and less than what their pics show. read more

Wow! This is a hidden GEM !! This was the first breakfast spots that we tried, based off TripAdvisor reviews. It was small (like most places) and very cute! Our waitress was nice! SUPER AFFORDABLE!!! Now we didn't realize this til we tried other spots and ordered the same amount of food for twice the price. We ended up coming back again because the food was sooo good. Second time I ordered pancakes (so yummy) which came with syrup & fruit. Then I ordered a side of toast, which is actually toast, ham & cheese, AMAZING! My cousin ordered a lasagna and a Panini, I know tons of food! Boy, it was all sooooo good. I had an americano coffee & he had a cappuccino, in the end our total was only $26 euros. CHEAP!! We sat outside & enjoyed the view in the mean time. LOVED IT. MUST SEE IN ROME!! read more

We enjoyed brunch at The Loft in Rome so much, we went back a second time! The meat and cheese boards are fantastic. The waffles were the BEST waffles we have ever had! The staff here is absolutely amazing! This was one of the warmest welcomes we had in our week in Rome. They were extremely fun to be around, energetic, and we left with large smiles on our faces. We only stopped for a meat & cheese platter and beer, but it certainly did not disappoint. The cuts of meat were DELICIOUS, as was the cheese. Great little spot for a drinks and snack. After a full day of walking, fresh pressed juices or fruit milkshakes or an Aperol Spritz was just the thing! The charcuterie board with drink during happy hour was perfect. The meats and cheeses were just right. Forget about the olives (it's as though they were blanched - no flavor at all) but that was a small miss. A nice spot with warm service! read more

I've never in my life received such bad service as I had at "the loft". They were super rude and ignored us as customers several times. We even went inside 5 times to remind them to take our order and after that they still didn't pay us any mind. We waited 40 min on nothing and soon after left with no food. NEVER VISIT THIS CAFE! read more

I got the vegan sandwich and it actually blew my mind that it was vegan. The cuts of meat were so realistic and the vegan Parm also tasted so close to the original. Altogether, if you had just gave me the sandwich and I was eating it I wouldn't have even questioned that it was vegan. The sandwiches here are so delicious, I would definitely come back.
