If you're in Winston you can't go wrong with the loop, all the food is so fresh and delicious! It has a cool deli/cafe atmosphere, they don't have table service so if you're looking for a fresh quick lunch with no rush, check them out! We had the Asian chicken wrap with tomato soup and the chicken Caesar wrap with tomato soup, both were excellent, we couldn't decide which was best.

Such a casual warm place to dine! I love how there's a variety of options to choose from! We got the steak fries which was amazing!!! The bow tie shrimp was just alright, the shrimp was tasty and the bow ties were a little bit overcooked... My friend got pizza and she finished everything so must've been good! The fries were delicious!!!! I would come back and try the other items on their menu. So you'd walk in the restaurant and order at the counter and be given a pager then find a place to sit. When your food is ready the pager will sound and you either go up and retrieve the meal or if you're lucky a staff brings the food to you!

We saw The Loop while visiting the Thruway Shopping Center before, but decided on lunch at another eatery we were familiar with. Fast forward to this week - we knew that Yelp had an event earlier in the week which we were unable to attend. We saw pictures throughout the week that made us want to check them out. We arrived about 2:30pm on Sunday afternoon. They do have a nice patio area which would offer a great opportunity in nicer weather. However, upon looking closer, it needed a good general cleaning. We proceeded inside and again, the dingy theme continued. It seemed a bit strange there were menus on a side table as you made your way to the counter to order. We looked over the menu and liked they had quite a few pizza and salad options. We proceeded to the counter to order. The young man who took our order was helpful but appeared not to be incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. We also noted there were quite a few employees gathered around the kitchen area who appeared to only be talking and not doing anything else. We counted at least nine employees and it was not very busy. No one was stocking supplies, cleaning tables, organizing, preparing orders, nothing. Both my wife and I wondered how the business was making any money. This continued throughout our entire time here. We paid when we ordered and the machine asked for a tip. I looked at my wife and wondered. We are ordering at the counter, filling our own drink, picking up our order and clearing our own table. What am I tipping for? My wife ordered a Sunflower Kale salad with salmon and I ordered 12 inch Meat Market pizza with extra sauce because I wanted some leftovers. We were given a pager and told we could choose a table. There was a variety of tables and booths available, most were empty and several were still dirty with crumbs, etc. Our pager went off a short while later and we picked up our order at the counter. Our food looked delicious. We brought it to our table and proceeded to dig in. I thought the pizza was good but if this was extra sauce, the regular pizza must not have any. I still enjoyed the pizza. My wife enjoyed her salad and would get it again. However, she said she would get it to go, since we weren't impressed with the in person experience. This really could have been a lot better with improvements. When we are in the area again we will likely go somewhere else. We hope they can make the necessary improvements in order to succeed. In our opinion they need a little help.

Great lunch spot. The soup of the day is always delicious. Known for their pizzas. My favorite is sausage with goat cheese. Save room for a brownie. Friendly service. Indoor and outdoor seating. Great location while shopping.

Very quiet at 2:30. Ordered the hawaiin pizza which wasn't on menu. I'm glad I asked the cashier. It's very flavorful and cheesy with a honey drizzle on top. Crust was crispy. Overall a great pizza Service was fine. Cashier was helpful and friendly Ambiance. Not much as it was pretty quiet

The service is great, the food comes out quickly and both tastes and looks great always. The outside area is cute to eat at but the inside is pretty cozy too.

We tried The Loop for the first time! My husband got the Cajun chicken sandwich. The chicken was a little dry and could've used more seasoning, but the honey mustard was a nice touch. His Caesar salad was very classic, nothing fancy, but I was impressed with the size for just being a side salad. I went with the 8-inch special pizza. Portion size was perfect for one person, a little on the greasy side, and the sausage was a bit odd. Honestly gave me late-night-after-drinks pizza vibes - not necessarily bad, just the type of craving food you'd demolish after going out. Staff was friendly, food came out quick, and the building itself is awesome with tons of indoor and outdoor seating. Super cool location with lots of potential!

Wow! Such a great find in WS area. I have driven past this place so many times. I didn't know it was counter service, but everyone was very friendly! We have been here twice in the past week. My husband got the southwest burger which was delicious! I got the chicken Cesar wrap which was also tasty! We will definitely be back.

Went to The Loop this afternoon for lunch. The restaurant looks nice and I love that there is outside seating. The service was good and we didn't have to wait on our food terribly long. We ordered pizzas and they were really very tasty. My daughter ordered the kids macaroni and cheese and I was a bit disappointed to see it was Kraft. Wish it would mention that on the menu, as I am not a fan. Would have expected a house made version. I had the FETA MEDITERRANEAN (VG) artichokes, greek olives, red onions, grape tomatoes, croutons & balsamic vinaigrette. It's a really good salad BUT I only had two small artichokes and just a few olives, so I would have enjoyed it more if I had more of those and a lot less onions. Tried their ranch and bleu cheese on the side and they are both great! The sanitation grade is 96.5, I'd really love to see that grade come up some. Overall, I would go back. (Pictures have a reddish tent bc we sat outside and the umbrellas are red.)

Currently addicted to the chicken Caesar wrap. Now that I'm talking about it I may actually have to go back this week and get another. Sometimes it can be hard to find good Caesar dressing, but the loop definitely has a great one. I'll eventually venture out and try something else on the menu.

The Loop is a nice family friendly location where you could enjoy a good burger, salad or pizza. The place is trendy looking. Very clean with exceptional service. The menu is easy to choose from with plenty of options for your palate. I like that they also have outside seating available with plenty of space overlooking the shopping center it's located in. Interior noise not too loud. The food looked great and tasted even better. Definitely coming back.

I came here for lunch with my coworkers. We always try to arrive by 11:45 to beat the lunchtime rush/crowd. It was just starting to get busy but we ordered quickly and found a table for our group. Service was fast and friendly, the restaurant itself was pretty standard, clean, good condiments/drinks options. I ordered the 8" spicy cilantro chicken pizza. Everyone else mostly got wraps or sandwiches. Our food came out pretty quick- less than 10min. We all enjoyed our dishes, I saved half of my pizza for leftovers. Lots of flavor and ingredients packed onto each slice. Solid spot for a quick lunch with lots of standard salad/sandwich/pizza offerings. It's tucked away in the thruway shopping center, so maybe a little difficult to find/park especially if you don't know where you're looking to go specifically. All in all, I would go back!

3.5 stars. The guy who took our order was rude and seemed uninterested. Everybody with me ordered after me and somehow got their good first. My order was wrong. to make matters worse I found a what looks like an eyelash hair in my FRIES. I went up and asked what the wait was and they got upset. People around us are loud. Unsatisfactory.

Although it's tucked away in an unassuming business district, this restaurant is truly a hidden gem. From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by the warm, inviting space and exceptional service. Everyone made us feel welcome, and the attention to detail throughout our meal was outstanding. We started with the Ahi Tuna appetizer, which was absolutely delicious. It was served over a bed of crisp sliced cucumbers and the most amazing vinegar coleslaw. The combination of flavors was fresh, light, and memorable. Even the warm dinner rolls were outstanding and set the tone for the meal. For our entrées, the meatloaf was everything comfort food should be. It was tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned, served over creamy mashed potatoes with fresh French green beans. We also ordered the Chef's seasonal Squash Casserole, and it was phenomenal. If it's on the menu when you visit, don't miss it. Milner's way exceeded our expectations: wonderful food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere made for a memorable evening. However, when we checked in they told us they don't take reservations so it must be for their sister restaurant (oops) and the wait was even longer this time. One of the hostesses mentioned there would be seating clearing at the bar within minutes, which was good enough for us. We sat down 3 minutes later and ordered a few minutes after that. My daughter went for a cheeseburger which she happily ate stating that the food at Wake was NOT good all week. My husband enjoyed his turkey club and packed the other half for his flight later that evening (lunch and dinner). I went with the crab cake appetizer, which I thought was just OK. It was only a few dollars cheaper than the sandwich so I probably should have gotten that instead, but didn't want to be tempted with the bread and fries. We were in and out within 30 minutes, which I appreciated since we had a drive to Chapel Hill ahead of us. Overall, it was a solid meal and I'm guessing a favorite for those affiliated with the campus.

Once we got our drinks they served us several orders of warm bread with several different butter choices. At that point, we ordered our main menu items. Service was prompt and went smoothly. We didn't have to wait very long for our food to arrive. The food was very good and there were no complaints from our group. I ordered Ahi Tuna salad. First, the hospitality is top notch. The food was spectacular. We ordered the bread service, with the add-on bacon jam and tomato tapenade. The bacon jam is good enough to put on anything and it will taste amazing. We also ordered a delicious Caesar salad to spit. Both were so good I didn't get a chance to take a picture before we started eating. For our main course, my daughter ordered the braised pork shank from the regular menu and loved it. The pork itself was ridiculously fork-tender and the candied cabbage was an incredible sweet counterbalance to the savory sauce. Easily a 9/10 dish. For me, I ordered the Duck, which was perfectly cooked (rare), a great sear, and seasoned incredibly. I was torn on whether the star of the dish was the duck or the accompanying Brussel sprouts. Regardless, a very solid 8/10. The restaurant was very kind to gift us dessert for our special occasion. I had a very happy 10 year old when she saw the dessert plate arrive. I wish the red cabbage was plated with the meal (it came on the side in a bowl), but otherwise, it was a splendid meal. It also made for great leftovers the next day! The blueberry limoncello crisp had such a good flavor combo! The lemon was on the more sour side, but I still liked it. The sweet cream is chef's kiss! The service was very friendly!!
