This place is super underrated. The happy hour deals are awesome, the food is delicious, and the line dancing twice a week is an added perk.

Came to this place on a whim. I was surprised to find pool tables, video games, darts and of course televisions to watch Thursday night football. Deven was an amazing server. And even the manager checked in on me. They have a decent array of beers on tap. I ordered the kitchen quesadilla and it was amazing. It was stuffed and tasted great. Come give this place a try. My wife and I had dinner there on 1/21/2025. She French fries as an appetizer. Nothing special about the fries. I had the loaded potato soup. It was creamy delicious. My wife had chicken quesadilla. They were pretty tasty. I had the beef bulgogi. It was delicious. The meet was so tender. Zucchini nice and tender. The carrots were slightly overcooked. If the carrots were a little firmer, it would have added some texture to the dish. The yoke of the egg on top was slightly overcooked. For a rice dish, the egg needs to be cooked Sunnyside up. But nonetheless I loved the dish. The sauce was the kicker! I can best describe it as a sweet chili sauce. It was sweet, had some nice heat to it. I loved it. I came here for an event. And the first thing you notice when you walk in is the enormity of this place. There is a big bar on the left, a section for tables in the middle, and a set of pool tables in the back right. Huge! And they have placed TVs everywhere, which makes it ideal for watching a sporting event. With regard to the food, I have had better. I came with a large group and we decided to order a bunch of appetizers. Some were better than others. I usually like the food and atmosphere at LK, but their specials are terrible and very misleading. Their ribeye was cut to 1/4 inch thick and overcooked. They market it as a cheap ribeye, but it's basically a regular ribeye cut to half of the width. Loudoun Kitchen needs to try harder not to mislead their customers. read more

The drink specials that go til 9:00; Chef Alex's weekly menu added to the already ample and delicious choices off their regular menu; and the friendly attentive staff make this our favorite restaurant in Loudoun County! I've been a loyal customer at this bar for over 10 years, but after my most recent experience, im done. Note, the bartender was kind and professional but the overall environment made me feel deeply uncomfortable and disrespected. I was sitting near a group of people, few of which I recognized, I definitely heard them talk about me and look at me. I ignored but things escalated when Ellie, a former employee, falsely claimed I was filming her and her friends. In reality, I was filming myself. Her assumption was not only incorrect, but also extremely self-centered and demeaning. What was most infuriating was the way the situation was handled. Rather than addressing the issue fairly, the owner asked me to move. It felt like I was being belittled and gaslighted, simply for existing in a space I've supported for over a decade. It's incredibly disappointing to see this high school bully mentality persist in what should be a welcoming, adult environment. We went for country line dancing and it was such a blast! Everyone enjoyed their food and drinks. We are not professional dancers by any means and there were a few dances for learning which were easy and fun. It was also great to just watch the people who go there regularly and dance really well. Food was mediocre. Service was rude. One person stated very plainly that they didn't want onions. Her French dip came fenced in onions. The server told us "there are onions in the marinade and that can't be changed." Why not tell her this right up front? Prices were very high (like all of NOVA). Food, drinks and service are good. The arcade is a rip off. We put money on cards and the machines take the money, but they do not activate 50% of the time. The air hockey machine air will come up, but no puck will disperse. The skee ball machine will take credits off your card, but the balls don't disperse. Yesterday afternoon my husband and I dine at this restaurant since they had send us a $15 birthday discount. We were very pleased with our server Brandon, food and drinks. Brendon is very polite and helpful. He did a great job serving us and providing information about the poker events at the restaurant. The manager was super friendly and would stop by to ask if everything is ok and patiently explained the events that going on daily and occasionally at the restaurant. I enjoyed the fresh Southern Salad and my husband liked the delicious steak&cheese sandwich. The buffalo chicken wings were scrumptious as well. The restaurant is a bit noisy because of the games that events that are going on. Although this makes it very lively and sociable place. Let me tell you, this guy, Owen , who works up in here is the man! After an entire year, I had a kid, he remembered remembered exactly what I order to the T! He provides excellent service and is an all-around fantastic guy if you ever get a chance to come in and talk to Owen and he will take excellent care of you. So this review is long overdue. I've been coming here since it was bunkers. With the ownership change the food DEF improved but it still has the same dive bar feel. This is a bar where the regulars know the bartenders, owner and security on a first name basis. I'm a lil ashamed to admit at one point the DJ knew my name. Alas, bunkers (cause that's what me and my friends still call it, the new name is such a mouthful, lol) is a good place to go get drunk and have a decent time. On Friday and Saturday nights they have a DJ and he takes requests. There's a smoking room inside that connects to the bar and the room also has some TVs. In the main area there is a section to the right that's a mini arcade area. There's a stage and DJ booth. In the back are pool tables and the restrooms. Side note, the restrooms here are normally gross. I don't go here as much as I used to but if you want a cheap drink/happy hour and don't mind an occasional bar brawl, this is the place for you. read more

I try to give restaurants a break during the pandemic, and order from the locals rather than the chains because they're part of our community. That said, I'll never order from The Loudoun Kitchen and Bar again. Look at the pic I attached. That's a "kids quesadilla", which was LOADED with jalapeños. I opened the to-go box and my kid dove in, and I didn't think I'd need to look inside the quesadilla until 30 seconds later when I'm cradling a crying toddler who's complaining of a burned mouth, with his nose running and his face red. I peeled open the quesadilla and found what's pictured below. Every inch of that quesadilla was covered in jalapeños, and I tried one myself just to be sure that's what they were. I can take the heat, I like them , but a 3 year old kid...no. Why are they on a kid item? I tried calling the restaurant and the phone went unanswered, three calls. I contacted the delivery company and they asked for a pic and told me they'd contact the restaurant. Never again! read more

Placed our order for three through DoorDash and got it relatively quickly. For the most part, the food was good. Let's go over that: - Cajun Shrimp Pasta: Delicious, spicy sauce. Good portion, not stingy with the shrimp. Had a rogue unshelled shrimp, but good otherwise. - House salad: Again, good portion. Amazing house made ranch. Found a pickled jalapeno and random green onion, which didn't bother me much but tells me the salad prep area should be better cleaned and monitored. - Onion rings: Crispy, good batter, better sauce! Good job there. (Little oily, but that's alright) - Potstickers: No complaints - Kids pasta with sauce: Loved it. - Boneless wings: Total miss here. Had high hopes but the bourbon sauce was extremely thick and SO salty. Really ruined the wings that were already fried to no end. So... 60/40 maybe? Not sure we'd try it again. read more

One of THE WORST customer service I've ever had at a resteraunt. I ordered a chicken and cheese Qiusidilla with nothing else on it. I proceed to recieve one with chicken cheese tomatoes peppers and onions. I cannot eat tomatoes as my digestive system does not like tomatoes. I proceed to ask the waiter "hey I ordered a plain Qiusidilla with chicken and cheese and it came with tomatoes and peppers and onions". The waiter then proceeds to ACKOWLEDGE me and say I got what I ordered and walked off as I was trying to tell her what I ordered. After this instance the other waiter takes YEARS to bring me my beverage. The waiter forgot multiple things and seemed high on the job. I NEVER got my refill and proceeded to not get my new order until another hour later. This was the absolute worst place ever. I'd also like to add the bus boy cleaned the table and took my friends good before they were done or even left the table. My stomach is now jacked up before a hockey game and I am still hungry. The waitress we had did not have a name tag but she did not know anything about what they served at this restaurant or pretty much anywhere. (If it helps the owners she has black hair & pink rimmed glasses, on the heavier stock side) We asked what lager do you have on tap. With a straight face she looked at us and said, 'Miller Light' Miller light is not a lager, nor are most people looking for it on tap. That is the only beer she could name. We had to start naming off beers to her for her start saying that she thought they might have it. ‍ She did not bring silverware or plates out so we could eat our appetizer. We asked for a box to take the rest of our dinner home and she looked at us like we were nuts and then repeated the question back at us. I had been at this establishment since it was called Bunkers.And i did karaoke here every since 2012.I continued to come here when they changed to Loudoun Kitchen and bar.Sometimes i would order food,beer etc.,or just a glass of water.Me and my wife Cindy always sit at the booths to get a look at the stage On November 1,2023 we sat at our regular booth and ordered a glass of water and did karaoke.All of a sudden this man comes to our booth saying that he is the owner (David Park)and that we can't sit at any table in his business without ordering food.On top of that,he said that he has been the owner every since 2006 and that he didn't know us.Many years i have sang in this place.This racist owner can take his business and shove it!!!.We even got Michelle the karaoke director to speak to the owner concerning the fact that we are regulars here.I never setting foot in this place again!!.There were other people at tables and booths with no food ordered,this owner said nothing to them.One of the customer even bought an outside beverage inside the resturant and it was in plain site.Beware of this predator!! read more

the worst service that I have ever experience. I am visiting from Ohio and got denied service because they were not able to verify my ID. Absolutely rude and disgusting behavior in the way they talked and treated us. They only googled what an ID looked like from out of state and had no clue what they were doing. They ignored us and rolled their eyes when asked questions. I said I had other forms of verification and they were not even willing to consider it. when asked for the manager we were ignored and then when we finally spoke to the manager she was also incredibly rude. read more

Such a fun place! First of all it's huge, so many different areas to hang, so it's great for a big party. The manager Johana came by our table and was so sweet. Love when managers do that. Great atmosphere, great food, great staff. One of my favorite places to go and unwind after a long work week. Pool tables, darts, Live Music, line dancing and karaoke on Saturday nights. You really can't go wrong with this place. It's almost like A "family friendly" club. It doesn't have the same loud & crowded "club/bar" atmosphere like some others in the area, but still has the same great features. Loudoun Kitchen and Bar occupies the space that Bunkers used to, I have been to Bunkers when it first started but as it got a bad reputation, I only went there for the NFL football season because they were always made sure I can see my game, without putting me in the back corner, but as soon as football season was over you wouldn't see me til the following September. I also had good experience with the staff over the years, with an occasional hiccup from a new person. Many friends when they found out I went there would question me about the reputation, saying "we never go there after 9m," my games were on Sunday afternoons and the crowd was fine during that time. A few weeks ago I saw that the Bunkers sign was down and it was replaced by a banner for Loudoun Kitchen and Bar. I decided to check it out, partly hoping that I wouldn't have to find a new football spot. Quickly I learned that it was Bunkers renamed, but now they were open for lunch which Bunkers was not for many years. In talking with the Bartender it seemed there was an effort to change the reputation of the place. The front of the house that used to sport Pool tables were replaced with arcade games (there is still pool in the back), the menu is a hybrid of old bunkers and new items, the Korean Bulgogi Bowl dish I find to be super delicious, I'm so expert on Korean cuisine but I like it. Give that there was some effort being put it I thought i would put Loudoun Kitchen and Bar through some different scenarios, Lunch with My Wife and Kids (where Bunkers would fall short in the past), Lunch with my Mom, a happy hour and an evening or two. The lunch with my family was much better than the past, it may have been because the staff knew me from football season were working and were shocked to see me, but we were greeted quickly in a friendly manner. The kids enjoyed the arcade games, and frankly it shocked me in the age of Xbox and PlayStation. Everyone enjoyed the food, (Bruschetta, Cuban panini, Bulgogi Bowl, Southwest Salad), so much that later in the week, I was sent there by the Women in my life for take-out, and that service was too quick I was hoping to enjoy a couple of beers while I waited but alas I only had time for one. Later I would bring my Mom in for another lunch and the service was still good. So far Loudoun Kitchen and Bar is a place I don't have a problem taking my family to. I also have gone there a few times at night on my own, to see if it is indeed a place that you shouldn't go to after 9 pm. I went two Saturday nights on two consecutive weekends, and both times they were having a fundraiser (Special Olympics, and an organization helping Loudoun county homeless teens), with country line dancing (not as country as it sounds) to follow. My time there both nights spanned 8/8:30 to 10/10:30, the crowd was very tame and nowhere close to dangerous, maybe a small sample size but it is what I saw. So I don't think I will have a problem bringing my wife here after dinner for a couple of drinks. It may not be fancy pants like a lot of places in Northern Virginia but sometimes it's good to get away from the High brow that you often find in this area. In summary for a place trying to change its reputation, I think they are making the right steps in food, service, and atmosphere, they have a ways to go correcting a bad reputation isn't easy, as people aren't always forgiving. The food is good for a sports bar sure it isn't gourmet but depending on what you order its adequate to very good. They just need to be more consistent I like their Potstickers most of the time they are fine but sometimes, not the end of the world but could be better. Before writing this I saw other reviews with some horror stories about the service here, and I can honestly say that I have experienced nothing like that. It did occur to me that the reason I got good service is that I'm somewhat of a regular, but my wife is not and she and my mother did make a couple of trips without me and they said their service was fine. The leaves the atmosphere it still is more a bar in the restaurant, just given the real estate given to the bar, and it still has a smoking area (well compartmentalized and ventilated) according to Virginia law (I assume), and there still are 6-7 pool tables in the back. Those things don't bother me full disclosure I smoke cigars in the smoking area while watching football on occasion when it was bunkers, but I don't see it as a dangerous place anymore. I wish them luck and hope they keep working at it, I would like to have a local hangout again. read more
