I wish I could rate this place higher. Before today, I would've given The Lube Center in Laurel 5 stars. I've been coming here for a long time without any problems, and have always found the staff to be polite, efficient, knowledgeable, and helpful for my oil changes and other types of vehicular maintenance. Unfortunately, while getting his oil changed, someone at this facility took my boyfriend's credit card and used it fraudulently for a few hundred dollars. I can no longer recommend Laurel Lube Center as I no longer trust the facility. We're very disappointed, to say the least, and will be taking our business elsewhere. read more

Delonte, Delontee Janai Robert are all wonderful workers. They treat me extremely well when I come here. I wouldn't go any where else for my basic car needs. Every time I come the service is prompt and quality. This is no jiffy lube nonsense, this is a professional establishment with quality employees. I don't want to give them just one star because they have been wonderful in the past, but I am disappointed!!! I went there yesterday (11/27/16) to get my oil change, the tech seemed nice and I and told him that I wanted an oil change. After the diagnostics he ran in my car, he told me that transmission fluid was low and my coolant was low, not to mention three of my car lights went out. So, he had insisted that I get this replaced. All he said that he was going to check the price but I have never agreed for him to do it (Mind you all the discounts they try to offer you, just to get to get a sale out of you). He comes back and tells me that the transmission fluid and coolant along either the oil change comes up to $409. I never gave him the okay to do this. Guess what, he did it anyways. All I wanted wanted was an oil change. So when the guy ( I am assuming the manager) told me the price ($300 and some change), I HIT THE ROOF!!! So, he goes back and the tech was working on my car and he and "Ma'me, you didn't see all the work I was doing?" Trust me, that made me even more hot, I was there for almost an hour. So, even though I will NEVER come here again, but I want to warn you all to make sure you are stern and let them know what you want; avoid miscommunication at all costs!!!!! read more

After the dealership gave me a hard time about my oil change I decided to try someplace different. After a quick Yelp search I decided on this place since they had decent reviews and wasn't far from where I was. I pulled up and was taken right away. I didn't realize they would do the oil change while I was in the car and no one bothered to explain that to me so as I was gathering my things to get out of the car they were handing me forms to complete. The whole process was less than 20 mins and we were done. I would have loved a little more explanation of the process since I was a new customer but overall it was a decent experience. I went there because my brakes were squealing, and asked for new brake pads. The mechanic took a look immediately and within ten minutes told me that my pads were fine and my brakes were just dusty. I'm so happy they didn't charge me for doing work that didn't need to be done, and they didn't even make me pay for the inspection. Not bad for a quick oil change =). I did go on a weekday during work hours so there wasn't a lot of cars. Regardless, service was fast and direct. - I told them I wanted the cheapest oil change and they did not argue. - They told me I had XXX and XXX and said they don't do these fixes here but they will note that these things may need to be looked into on the receipt. - They try to sell me windshield wipers because mine was actually noticeable tearing apart.. but I said I'd like to do that myself, and they didn't put up a fight! ::sigh of relief for not having to be a bitchy asian that fights for every penny!:: **yelp check in coupon totally worked and help.. total came out to be ~$38 with tax (how did a quick oil change get to be so expensive!! Each of the employees I engaged with was incredibly kind and explained things very well. I'm not sure why I'm just writing this review, but here it is nonetheless. I've been taking my Honda to the Lube Center for about a year now and I've never had any issues. The staff is extremely friendly, professional and courteous. Any questions I've had they have no problem explaining and showing me the answer. They aren't pushy with upselling any product or service and they do a great job in a timely manner. This place rules! Granted, came here the day after Christmas and knew it would be slower than usual, but I had zero wait and every single staff member that I spoke with was super kind and helpful. I didn't feel at all pressured for any service. Even though I was just there for an oil change, they washed my windows, ensured my tire pressure was good, and noticed my back wiper was broken (which they fixed for such a reasonable price!). Great customer service! Although I did not expect to have to drive my car into the bay myself They will not clean out the inside of your car, or clean your windshield. The price ranges between $40 and $100 . $3 extra if your car requires another qt of oil . Its clean , well managed and the staff is friendly and efficient . Everything and everyone is amazing. I've been a customer for about 2 years now and I would be a fool to take my car anywhere else for my oil change. I'm always greeted with a smile no matter how early or late by extremely professional staff. I'm usually in and out in less than 20 minutes no matter what time I show up. Best place to get an oil change!!!! I have never been to an auto shop and had excellent customer service. The staff is very friendly and they are also quick. Being a woman I feel comfortable going there without my husband. This is the only place I go to, to get my oil changes done. June 7th I took my car to The Lube Center in Laurel (on Rt.1) to get my oil changed. The gentlemen asked me about a radiator flush and reminded me the last visit it was recommend I have the engine flushed. I told him let me research these options and I will come back another time if I decide to have it done. He asked me if I had any problems with my car overheating. I said no, I have never had any issue with my car. He then explained the advantage of the radiator flushing. I said let me research it before I have this done. An hour later my car started overheating. Keep in mind it was not overheating before my oil change. When I looked the coolant was extremely low, but on my paperwork it stated the checked and refilled it. Once I added coolant it still is overheating but it is not leaking. It is hard to believe this is a coincidence. I think they did something to my car so I can come back. I had to have my car towed home and now I need to have it fixed by someone else. NOTE - something similar happen to me at the same Lube Center regarding my battery. While I was there for an oil change and I asked if they sold batteries because a few weeks ago I had to have my car jump started. But since it was jumped it was fine. I did not get the battery, later that day I again had to jump start my car. I purchased a battery somewhere else. Again my first thought did they do something to my car so I could come back for a battery. I've been here a few times. Twice for oil changes, three times for things in my tire. Two screws and a nail I don't know where I pick them up but they are really helpful. They plugged the holes quick and it was free. I always get fast friendly service for a great price. The customer service is phenomenal! Luckily I was able to be seen right away around 1pm on a Sunday. Roy, the manager and 2 employees Kelvinn and Delontee greeted us happily ( the names may be misspelled). The oil change was quick. All services were successfully broken down and explained thoroughly. My boyfriend and I were also offered beverages in which we accepted and they were brought to us by Roy. I have to say, I plan to get all future oil changes here and skipping the dealership! This is my first experience with The Lube Center. I went there based on Yelp reviews, to obtain an oil change. Awesome experience! I wanted to find a more reliable place than my local gas station. THOSE guys told me I needed a new battery but the guys at The Lube Center did a free test and showed me my battery is in great shape. They also replaced my air filters quickly, seeing as how my old ones had dead leaves and raccoons all in it. Very quick service and wonderful friendly faces. Thank you! read more
