A large group of people at the front door waiting for a table. Our server wanted to turn our table and wanted us GONE ASAP. She started clearing our plates when we were not even done. Threw away the mussels I set aside for my sister on a side plate because she thought they were just shells. Threw away my son's chicken tenders that I wanted to wrap up for him. $725 tab for an awful, rushed experience. Happy birthday to me! A little kindness goes a long way. I asked if I could get 3 mussels to go for my sister, the mussels that I ordered and paid for that she threw away, and she said no. I would have to order another order and that wasn't possible. I almost did, but judging by how long the food took to come, I just couldn't wait for it. Never again. Also, no soap in the women's bathroom on both sides. A birthday dinner out with family should be special. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. It certainly won't be special here.

While I liked the restaurant overall this was not worth $35. My meal had three scallops and 2 of them were smaller and a little mushy. Then were were 4 shrimp that weren't bad. The fish was on the smaller end and tougher than I thought it would be. I understand it's Martha's vineyard and things are more expensive there but this was steep for the quality. My friends liked their tacos as well- they just mentioned that having a third taco instead of just the two would have been nice. Once reported to the staff, a new pizza was delivered. Next were sliders, cheeseburger and pulled pork, but only cheeseburger sliders were served, and with no condiments. Not wanting to sour my mood by dealing with glitches now and perhaps later when more food arrived, I just let it pass and enjoyed my evening with my colleagues. Let me reiterate that we had a good time and my boss thanked me profusely for organizing the event, so no harm there. And for those of you that say "you should've let the manager know", I did, by email the next day, again, putting a bit of enjoyment for myself above constantly keeping an eye on what was happening with the food.
