So glad we found this place while up here in vacation for the week! Seated right away and great,…read morefriendly service all around. Sat outside, which was really nice. Busy but easy to talk to the person across from you. The fountain noise added to the pleasant ambience. We had a special of shrimp and pesto with pasta and a plate of the bolognese. Both were outstanding. We'd never seen shrimp paired with pesto, but it worked perfectly. The bolognese might be the best I've ever had. The sauce is really loaded with flavor, with some surprises, like rosemary. Just SO good. Although a little tricky with the large tag pasta. But that's irrelevant. We then went with the Neapolitan cheesecake. Even though I'm a cheesecake snob, I've never seen a cheesecake made with three layers like this: plain, strawberry and chocolate. At first I wasn't sure, as there's a lot of flavors going on, especially with the added chocolate sauce and (delicious) fresh whipped cream. Very creamy. Perfect! We'd absolutely go back. This place is a home run for us.

First time visiting in almost 3 years. Now I know why. We ordered the Mahi Mahi, and Tuna special…read more The Mahi Mahi was very small and very tough and the tuna was just bad, tough, and the sauce had no flavor. The cut was just too thick. The service was really bad. Every time we asked for a spoon or a refill we need to remind the server. The coffee was also really bad. Cold and burnt. The type that when you add cream it doesn't begin to change color. I could have added a pint of 1/2 & 1/2 and it would have stayed dark. Maybe this is why we weee able to get a reservation for 7:15 at 5 pm today. That should have been a red flag. I won't be back!

Plastered with the good karma of the staff and the delightful people who had a vision. If you want food, you have to time it right. We got there on a Saturday afternoon around 1pm, knowing that they closed at 2. Meals were not available at that time, nor were cocktails. The only food available was snacks and pastries in a display on the counter, and most of these were already gone as well. Wine was still available in 3oz. and 5oz. pours, and we found a couple that we really enjoyed. We received fantastic service at the counter, and we were checked on several times while we were seated (we were lucky enough to get the plush chairs by the window). Their full wine list is extensive and interesting. Depending on from what direction you approach, navigation might give you a very scenic route along the circular "road." Parking is spread out in that area, and one-way arrows exist, but not enough of them.

The process is easy- you're given a card when you arrive that tracks which wines you pour. There is a nice selection of white and red wines from many regions. The portion size options are a sample, half a glass, or a full glass. Each display will tell you how much the portion costs, and every wine has a description. They have a simple food menu, which has never disappointed and a casual vibe. Grab a game and relax by the fireplace with your favorite wine and a yummy bite! We really love this place (so much that we came here after getting engaged!) No reservations needed, but it does get busy on weekends. Lentz_explore

Stopped in here on a whim with a friend and we both enjoyed the novelty of the self-serve aspect,…read moreand found a couple wines we really liked. While I can appreciate the choose your own adventure / tasting concept and benefits of moving at your own pace, wine tasting is something where I'd prefer to have more of a personal touch. The storytelling and personal connection was missing, and made the experience feel a bit hollow. The space was a nice open hang and there's snacks and games, and there is staff there, but the experience made me realize I prefer a guided human tour for some things, wine tasting being one of them. Prices also snuck up on us a bit, it's easy to lose count of how many you've had with the card reader. I was also a bit bummed to find that if you liked a wine you cannot purchase a bottle on site. But I'm glad I tried it and had fun.
