This crepe was so good! I loved the crepe itself, and the strawberries and bananas. The chocolate and caramel sauce was a great addition. The whipped cream and powdered sugar topped it off. The guy at the register was super nice and gave great recommendations. It was reasonably priced especially to be in an airport. Working fast food is a chore but from the customer point of view having grumpy, taciturn, slightly irritated staff is not a pleasant experience. The Santa Fe crepe has good ingredients but the eggs are pre-scrambled so quick but dry. Crepe was undercooked and the rest was not hot enough to be appetizing. I've had high hopes for this crepe place given I was craving crepes and the last time I was at DEN it was closed after hours. So this trip I was stoked it was daytime and early for me to buy a crepe. It quite possibly be that my Savory crepe expectation were not what I was used to. I'm used to places like crepevine who have sautéed hot items cooked onto the crepe then folded all in. Magic pan is totally different they cook the crepe outer layer and add in all ingredients cold into the crepe and probably the kicker that killed the flavor was the spicy sauce in the Chicken Divan which made it inedible for my kids. Partially a deal-breaker when I got tired hungry kids & mama & even for me I wish it didn't have the spice. Probably good to know for other patrons who like spice in sauce. read more

Not a good crepe place, even for an airport. The crepe (southwest) had too much flour in it in my opinion. The southwest "mix" was beans, rice, and onion with zero seasoning. No zip in the salsa either, it was so bland that it may as well have been ketchup. Most crepes I have had were handheld, however this place packages them in a plastic to go container which seems like a waste of plastic. Southwest Vegetarian Crepe $12 Add Quac $2 Not worth it. I do expect airport food to be expensive and I'd gladly pay this for something that tastes like a crepe. But this did not. It is a sweet American pancake recipe. This does not taste very good with the canned ingredients that went into this crepe. The whole thing tasted off. Not good for several reasons... 1. staff look like high school children. Minimal customer service skills. Chomping away on gum and not really wanting to be at work. 2. False advertising. They have monitor showing pictures of there crepes with fresh pieces of broccoli and other veggies/fresh ingredients. I got zero vegetables in my vegetarian crepe. 3. What I got was black beans, corn, tomatoe paste and pace salsa. Plus 'guacamole' that was $2 extra for a small scoop of that nasty frozen grocery store stuff. 4. The tomato, black bean, corn mix came out of prepackaged plastic container that looks like they warmed in microwave. I really don't like the idea of my food being heated in cheap plastic. That's toxic. (It's also waste of plastic) 5. Food was barely look warm. Not filling. I feel like I just paid $12 to be free a jar of lukewarm pace salsa. I ordered a crepe for my daughter that was very dry and barely contained the chocolate for the "chocolate crepe". The biggest issue though, was the cleanliness of some employees. While they had gloves on, they didn't change them out after pushing the door to the back room open, carrying a container of cut strawberries, wiping a knife down with a rag and then proceeding to peel a banana and handle it with the same dirty gloves. I was so excited to see a crepe stand in the Denver airport! I had an hour layover and didn't have breakfast before leaving home. The other options available in the airport did not seem appealing but then I spotted Magic Pan Crepe Stand with it's cute white tiling and yellow writing. I only wish there were more crepe stands available in other airports and local businesses! I watched the girl make the crepe in front of me and it only took about 10 minutes. The end result was yummy and so satisfying! I had the southwest option (vegetarian) and it was just what I needed to make it through my next long flight. I was a little disappointed that the inside of the crepe was just a pre-mixed tin that was dumped on after the crepe was made and topped with sour cream, salsa, and guacamole, but you also can't go wrong with the southwestern option of anything. I'll agree with the other reviewers here that said the people working this stand don't seem excited to be there, but fortunately my order was completed correctly and pretty quickly. I always stop in here whenever I come to the Denver airport. One of my favorites. Most recent visit was "okay", the crepe was good as normal, but the strawberries gotten on the strawberry crepe were poorly chopped (very large pieces) making it hard to have a bite of crepe with the strawberry still in the middle. There used to be a Magic Pan somewhere downtown years ago, but that's been gone for a long time. At the airport recently for an actual trip somewhere, I noticed that there was a stand on concourse C, so we stopped for a quick meal before our flight. It was okay, nothing special. I tried the southwestern chicken savory one and the strawberry dessert one. The chicken and beans and corn were mushed into a mix, which was scooped out with an ice cream scoop on the assembly line. Tasted fine, but I probably didn't need to see that while I waited. The dessert one was cold, which was odd - the strawberries were actually pretty fresh, but I don't know that they should have chilled the entire thing. I've had much better crepes in town, but for an airport meal that isn't a sandwich or greasy pizza, this mostly did the job. read more

Unbelievable experience. Standing in line, waiting to order. Lady at the register finishes taking the order ahead of me. Walks away to deliver the ticket (shared space with Big Bowl restaurant). Stops to "chat" with the cook (NOT about the order, a personal discussion). While she is chatting another employee turns off the menu screens for Magic Pan. It is 3pm, btw, and they are "open" until 9pm. Finally comes back to the register, I order a crepe and get told, "sorry, honey, they are closed". I reply that I saw them turn off the screens and the employee is standing right there. Her response: "the employees have clocked out, they are closed". Perhaps it is just this "group" of employees, but Magic Pan no longer gets my recommendations to friends and family that travel through the C gates at DIA. Seriously, make an announcement to the people in line, ask if anyone is ordering crepes, post the closing time, represent the business and do the right thing. How hard is that? read more

This is about the 'Big Bowl' Chinese part of the outlet. We ordered two entrées...the chicken kung po and the orange chicken. The kung po contained burnt chicken, coated with peppers without any subtly, and appeared nothing like the display pictures. The orange chicken was coated with a gooey sweet 'sauce' which tasted of only ginger. Both dishes were near inedible. After watching the cook and servers, I should not have had high expectations. We had a short layover in Denver on our way back home from a recent trip and I was starving. When I saw this place, I was excited to try it and avoid the typical blah airport food options. We were in a rush and wanted to make stops at other places along with Magic Pan Crepe. I placed my order (a $7 ham and cheese crepe, no eggs) and wandered off to another spot nearby that my boyfriend wanted food from. They called out my order that I, luckily, was able to hear from a little ways away and we ran back to our gate that had already started boarding. I didn't get to try my crepe until we were in our seats on the plane. The texture was a little off, almost sponge-like. After reading a few other reviews, I've learned that they actually microwave everything once the crepe is made. Why would you do that and ruin the crepe?? I admit that I wasn't there to see them physically make my food, but now that I know that, it explains the texture. Overall, the crepe was somewhat edible, but not very enjoyable. I ended up eating half and throwing the rest away. I don't recommend this place. It's pricey for disappointing food. read more

Magic Pan is over in the new Southwest C terminal section at DIA. It is really good food. It's pricey but yummy. Service does not come with a smile and they charge inconsistently for add ons. I like that there is plenty of seating and it is a different kind of food then you can usually get at the airport. They have savory and sweet crepes. Try it - it's magic! read more
