This review for the maple table is based solely on a takeout order so I cannot speak on the actual experience of dining in but as far as the food was concerned it surpassed all of my highest expectations and was above and beyond delicious to the point where my taste buds couldn't comprehend the delicious entree they were making contact with.... Yes the food is that good. I ordered the Monte Cristo sandwich which consisted of fresh carved turkey and ham with melted gooey Swiss cheese perfectly piled in between two thick delicious golden brown pieces of French toast with a side of roasted potatoes which were some of the best I've had. The Monte Cristo was 10 times better than the best Monte Cristo I have ever had prior to eating at the maple table and let me tell you this sandwich was stuffed with plenty of filling and left me stuffed and very fulfilled so if you are looking for the best breakfast spot in Racine this may be it and at the very least is definitely worth a try even though I believe after your first try you will try and try and try again so head over there now there because this review does not do the place Justice. read more

I want to love this place. I want it to be my place. There are so few places in this area that make me feel that way. It is very kid friendly. Kids menus. High chairs. Ok great. Friendly service. Socially distanced and everyone wearing masks. Super. But the food. Everything is creative brunch fare. What you expect from a new American brunch spot. Blackened shrimp and grits in theory awesome, presented beautifully but it was SO salty. I couldn't eat it. Corned beef hash was dry, though the house made shredded corned beef has potential. Which is why we came back a second time to try the reuben. HOT TIP. Reuben aandwich is servicee with sliced deli meat which is a real travesty when they have shredded corned beef in the back. C'mon guys. At least say "sliced corned beef" on the menu so people don't think they're getting that shredded version. Waiter said we could just ask for the shredded on the reuben and actually had them make it again for me, so again, service is lovely. Monte cristo was tasty, nothing special but well done. Mini donuts are delicious, make sure to eat them when they're warm as they get chewy quick. read more

Great lattes and cafe drinks. Great, cute little donuts. I was expecting to have to pay more but was pleasantly surprised when the bill came. The server was extremely sweet as well, bringing a 2nd bill out after noticing "you didn't have much of your soup so I decided to take it off the bill for you". What an amazing new restaurant. The food was fabulous and our waitress, Sarah was amazing. The food was extremely favorable with amble portions. We had the Shrimp & Grits, which was a different from the southern version, but very good. The Reuben and fries were also a knockout. There was enough left over to take home. Went here for brunch last weekend. I had been wanting to try this place for a while but the timing just never worked out. I am so glad that I finally had the time to eat here. This place is amazing! From the food to the decor to the service, everything was great. For brunch I started out with there no Bloody Mary. At first I was a little disappointed that it didn't come with a side car of beer (it's WI so that's pretty typical) but the flavor of the bloody quickly made me forget about the lack of one. The bloody has a nice bold not too spicy flavor to it. It's a weird analogy but it was almost like cocktail sauce (very good cocktail sauce). Of course it came with some sausage, cheese and pickled veggies which were all good. I'd love to know where they get their cheese from. For my meal I got the barbacoa eggs Benedict. Omg this was drool worthy. The meat was so tender and full of flavor, the sauce accompanied it perfectly and the grit cakes were a perfect touch. I highly highly recommend this. The portion was huge so I only ate one of the 2 eggs Benedict they give you. For my side I picked the salad with a balsamic dressing. It was a great match and the dressing was out of this world. We've dined here a couple of times, really like to support local businesses. Both times, the meals were not good. As a breakfast restaurant, you should have no issues cooking eggs. Poached eggs came out cold the first time, second time they came out hard. Over easy eggs were over cooked hard. The biscuits and gravy were way too salty and the biscuits were rock hard. Great shrimp and grits are hard to find and we're still searching for them after today's breakfast. Flavorless! Mushy shrimp. Canned corn. The marble rye didn't taste like rye, especially being pre buttered with a butter substitute. No real butter or jam? The undercooked hash browns resembled a frozen retail product. Excellent breakfast spot located in downtown Racine on Monument Square. Nice decor, although quite loud when full. They serve breakfast and lunch, but breakfast only on weekends. That could be explained better as we sat next to a single older gentleman who waited 40 minutes for a table only to be told that the lunch menu wasnt served on Sundays. He left angry. Perhaps only provide the breakfast handout menu on weekends? Also recommend a better table waiting concept. They dont take rezos, so the lobby area and sidewalk serve as the waiting room. Would be ok for short waits. We were told 15 minutes when we checked in. 40 minutes later we were seated. Implement a text notification system for longer waits so folks could stroll around the lovely downtown area while waiting for thier table. We've been to several popular places with this system and it works great. Food here is outstanding and substantial. Chorizo and egg "Big Boy Burrito" was deep in flavor and delicious. Barbacoa Benedict on cheese grits was very creative spin and suoer tasty. Good slection of beakfast options...have to go back and try the Bourbon Butter Pecan waffles...they looked decadent. You will not walk out of this place hungry. The servers were busy but friendly, attentive and took care of business. Overall a definite thumbs up. As soon as you enter the restaurant, you feel a sense of comfort in the decor, the smiles on everyone's faces, and the smells of a delectable scratch kitchen. My wife and I have gone there about three times, and I took my Uncle from Florida there today for breakfast. Sarah was our sever, and she did a phenomenal job in every sense of the word; she took our orders correctly, brought us coffee and water, and displayed unparalleled hospitality. Speaking of Hospitality, Tony, the Co-Owner, was all over the place, working hard like the rest of the staff; character is a quality that is the most noticeable. I was recommended the Maple Table by a colleague of mine. Me and my husband are always looking new breakfast spots! We walked into the Maple Table and it was beautiful! We fell in love with the entire restaurant! Wood accents everywhere! We were greeted by the owner and had a huge smile on his face and made us feel comfortable right away! The lighting was perfect! We got to our table and our server was the sweetest! I ordered the Banging Breakfast Tacos, my husband ordered the California Crab Cake Benedict and my daughter ordered Unicorn Pancakes from the kids menu! My tacos smelled sooo freaking delicious and they tasted amazing! The tacos were filled with so many flavors I didn't want them to finish! My daughter was so happy with her pancakes and it looked so cute! As we were waiting for our food our server brought us apple slices with a cinnamon cream cheese dip and we even asked for some to take home! Worst service ever received by the manager!! 50 min wait for a to go order which was wrong. We were missing a soup and the salad had extra onions on it. Cute, clean with a bit above average breakfast. They could easily punch it up with maple butter for the pancakes/French toast. We had to ask for syrup for our pancakes that should be the norm. When I walked up at 11 am Sunday morning to a crowd inside and out, I was worried because I had not called ahead for a reservation. But we lucked out and they were able to immediately seat our party of two. The woman in front of me at the hostess had a party of six and was given an estimate of 1hr 45mins, so be ready! I had a Paloma and my friend had one of the variety of mimosas, both beverages were beautiful and tasty. I had the chicken and cornbread waffles. The waffles were very good and the chicken was good and plentiful. It was a bit too much of the same thing for me, which is a common issue I have with brunch. If I was with my SO, we would probably share it with a side of fruit. My friend had the tacos, which seem popular, and were delicious. While we were there we saw quite a few interesting looking dishes going to other tables. I look forward to returning and trying other menu items, especially the doughnuts!! read more

It was some what bland, and it seemed like there was a lot of "filler" in the dishes. Cool new place in downtown Racine. Went for breakfast a couple of weeks ago and was very impressed. The hostess and our waitress were incredibly nice, helpful and attentive. The apple slices while we waited were a really nice touch, as was the owner stopping over to introduce himself and to see that we were satisfied with the meal and service.
