This bakery is located right inside the check-in for the main farm is this bakery. While everything…read morewas clean, easy to navigate, and good customer service...there was a lack of things anyone gluten-free could have. The lemonades I was told were also really sweet so I couldn't have those either. Bummer. I realize it's not a requirement but I left disappointed because there wasn't really anything I could have there. They do have fridges full of pies, cookies, candied apples, and of course, the viral Dubai bars if you can have them. There were some knick-knacks, jelly and other items I didn't look at too closely.

First off the dessert pizza cookie was enormous in size (13+"), thick, and the artwork on it should be framed on display in a gallery. but alas all the retired US Army Green Berets and Family Members devoured it with only a few crumbs left. We 'bend-the-knee' to Abby, Tatiana, Hannah and the Bakery staff. - We also purchased and brought (3) dozen wonderfully and creatively decorated cookies for exchange. I got to tell you Sweet Eats Bakery cookies went so fast Vin Diesel would have been furious in his next iteration of the film franchise. It was so unbalanced competition and consumption to my chagrin, but at least I got to taste some of the delicacies that Abby and crew made before there was nothing left.

I came here specifically for the sourdough bread. They had a full rack on display and fortunately,…read moreI have come late enough that it was okay to have sliced. The short is the sourdough bread was just okay. I find almost all sourdough bread in TX seems to be undercooked and I'm not sure why. And all the sourdough I have experienced in TX has a different flavor than traditional sourdough bread. It also seems quite heavier than a traditional sourdough. I did ask for it be sliced but the slices were incredibly thick. Easily twice the width of a normal slice of bread. Given the heaviness of this bread and seemingly undercooked that thickness is not ideal. I have certainly had thick sourdough slices before, but those were traditional, cooked and lighter. Maybe the person could have changed the thickness but it wasn't offered. Lastly, when checking out... I was charged 3% for using a credit card. I was informed beforehand and it is displayed... but this doesn't make it okay. As a business owner myself, I know I can deduct bank charges for using a credit card. So, you are charging me 3% and you are taking a deduction from taxes. But to top it off... after charging me 3% more... the server wanted me to provide a tip! Oh, sorry... she just said "the screen is going to ask you a question". What question? Why don't you just come right out and say "I want a tip"? But tip for what? And it's $11 for a loaf of bread.
