Really wanted to like this place because it's down the street. By far the worst pita wrap Ive tried. Ordered the tri tip pita wrap and vegetarian wrap. Cost me about $28 . Definitely was not worth it! Not sure what part was Mediterranean about it. No feta cheese on either wrap or sauce. Nothing special about it at all. Basically topped off with cheap spring mix. I dont see how that passes for mediterranean. The fries sucked . Super skinny little fries and had no seasoning . McDonald's does there fries better. You should try the pita from Pita GR in Downey. They should take lessons from them because there doing it right over there. Not this half ass stuff you guys are serving. I don't think I'll be returning this location. For Commerce, the food is pretty good. But even better was the customer service. My friend ordered the falafel, which was filled with cilantro. Unfortunately, she is part of the 10% of the population that thinks it tastes like soap. She reluctantly purchased a side of chicken. But as she was waiting for her order, the manager asked her if she had a problem with the dish. She explained her cilantro dilemma and the manager said that when she comes back, her next meal is comped. Yay! But wait... there's MORE... The manager instead comes out with a whole new dish of food! That shows some real concern about not only the customer but also the quality of the food. I love the food at this place. Their chicken kebab plate is to die for and you can discern that it's been prepared fresh. I have been ordering delivery during quarantine and the food takes no longer than 45 minutes to arrive. The staff is super courteous and professional. The most DISGUSTING and DANGEROUS food experience I've every had! The restaurant knowingly served me spoiled salmon. When the salmon plate was served to my table the bad fish odor was so strong I immediately questioned if it was safe to consume. I decided to taste a small piece of the salmon and my suspicions were confirmed, the salmon was spoiled. I spit out the salmon immediately and my mouth was overwhelmed with a rancid taste, so bad I rushed into the restroom to vomit and rinse my mouth. I brought my concern up to the kitchen staff. The women working in the kitchen stormed out of the kitchen area and attempted to relay that the salmon was okay to serve. When I brought up my concerns again, she admitted to questioning if the salmon was okay to serve and thought it just needed salt and pepper. She then added that she allowed her son who works in the kitchen to taste the salmon and they both thought it would be okay by just adding salt and pepper. I asked her if she was admitting to tasting my specific piece of fish prior to serving it to me, and she stay quiet. She also admitted to allowing the salmon to defrost 24 hours prior to serving as her daily process. Fish is extremely susceptible to food born illness and should not be defrosted for more that 10 hours in the fridge. She admitted to defrosting the fish out of the fridge for 24 hours prior to cooking and saw no issue in this. This leads me to believe that the restaurant is knowingly violating food safety protocols and exposing their customers to food born illnesses daily. I reported the restaurant to the public health department for their lack of safety concern and food handling procedures with hopes that this does not happen to anyone else. I urge you to think twice before risking your health, time, and money at this establishment. read more

The place is totally empty less one person who walked in right before me to pick up an order. I was a little skeptical since it was so dead but I'm so glad I gave it a shot. Today I tried the salmon plate and it was such a waste of money, $15.95 for rice and salmon basically which tasted so bland! I had to wait like 20 minutes for it, I was starving and needed to head back to work. The rude person who previously took my order (girl with a miserable face) saw me pacing around and didn't give me my order until I had to ask for it.
