After a late night worship event, we were craving for burgers and initially wanted in n out but the line was insane due to everyone from the event being there and wanted a quick bite before heading home so decided to check this place out. I used to go to the one in Pasadena for years until they closed, so I was super excited to see the WeHo location on Yelp and had to check them out. While you can order from a cashier, it's much easier to use the self service kiosk to customize your order and pay. There are great overhead order status screens near the pick up counter. I've been to this location several times for takeout. Last night we dined in and it was our second time doing so. As usual, the food was great. I ordered the Bacon Cheese Melt Burger and it didn't disappoint. It was fresh, very hot, and messy. Lots of napkins with this burger. My friend and I shared the Garlic Parmesan fries and they were really good. Again, fresh, hot, and a large serving. We loved them. My friend ordered a Snickerdoodle milkshake and said it was thick in texture and great tasting. So, why the 4 star rating? After ordering, I asked if they had a restroom so I could wash my hands. There is no signage that they have a restroom. An employee opened up a door and said it's at the end of the hallway. After a short walk and a couple of turns, there were the two restrooms. His and Hers. The Men's restroom was 100% completely disgusting. No bs, it was very filthy. The place obviously hadn't been cleaned in a long time. I just washed my hands and the sink was very dirty. And, the two soap dispensers were empty. The floors obviously hadn't seen a mop in ages. And, the restroom stunk bad. The staff was friendly enough that evening, but no greeting coming in or going out. I asked how to join the rewards program and the cashier didn't know. When not busy they just stood around and talked amongst themselves. Hopefully learning how to sign up customers for the rewards program. Geez. I can see why no one was dining in. Everything worked great, including the crispiness of the bacon and the sauces. The juciest overwhelmingly flavorful Wagu beef patty always delivers! The bun is amazing! And I don't know if it has to do with my input in the previous review but they went much lighter on the garlic and got it just right! The parmesan fries are amazing! And the pickle.. Oh my pickle! So snappy, just right amount of sourness and tiny bit of a spicy kick! Yum. There is never a long line, which is nice on one hand and a shame and concerning on the other hand. Unfortunately, this far east corner of West Hollywood have significant homeless presence. There are no tents nearby but the urine stained and odored filthy looking pavement and walls are. The service has always been top notch. I wish The Melt the very possible best now and in the future and I seriously hope they never leave this neighborhood because that would devastate me. Don't get me wrong, this goes for other places as well, but I'm only typing this on here since the melt is just so hard to resist. If you have the munchies? The melt. If you're sad? The melt. I went to the Melt there in the morning. Elen and Kyle were there behind the counter. They were very weird and the customer service was very disgusting. Eating at the restaurant at the table myself wasn't that and the employees at the Melt were multiply the reason. They were negligent of any decency and were the reason the restaurant was loud, weird. Helen and Kyle want to be weird instead of professionals so they can work at the Melt and be weird because they work at the Melt. The food wasn't fully cooked either. The amount of oil in this restaurants food cannot be healthy, I mean I waited 10 min to eat it after I got it and the bread was SOAKED in so much oil it was barely edible.
