I have been craving a non-smash burger for a while and happened to be down the street from The Melt. I have been here before and remembered that I really enjoyed the food. I am so glad that I went again. Parking can be tricky, but there are many lots around and plenty metered parking. It really depends on what time of the day you are going. The place is clean and well decorated. Good music playing. I was going to order from the digital attendant, but the lady behind the counter came and asked if I was ready to order and she placed the order. I asked about a couple of things, that if I had read the menu a bit more, I would have seen. I ended up getting a double Spicy Mission Meltburger and it delivered. I did eat at home, it may be better to eat in the restaurant as the very juicy juice soaked the bottom bun. But it was still so good. It was a meal itself. It is a good bun, lots of condiments and toppings. And the Waygu provides so much flavor. I will have to remind myself that a single is more than enough, and then I can get a side or a shake or something and not feel guilty. I stay upstairs above them so this place is my to go burger spot. Unfortunately I avoid ordering at night . It doesn't seem to be run by anyone professional. My bag is always so dirty with grease marks whenever I order garlic fries, or shake isn't mixed well. It seems they're more focused on handing me my order quickly than quality and presentation. After a late night worship event, we were craving for burgers and initially wanted in n out but the line was insane due to everyone from the event being there and wanted a quick bite before heading home so decided to check this place out. It's open til 2am and it was quit empty around 10pm but it did get more packed afterwards. Unfortunately there's no parking lot and only street meter parking that I saw but it was a Sunday night so free parking for me :) Wifey and I ordered the spicy mission meltburger and double meltburger. My wife loved her spicy mission better then in n out so was glad we came here instead. I thought the patties were a bit over cooked and the buns were crazy greasy. I had to use a fork to eat my burger. The fries were dry but loved the pickle that came w the burger. While you can order from a cashier, it's much easier to use the self service kiosk to customize your order and pay. There are great overhead order status screens near the pick up counter. I've been to this location several times for takeout. Last night we dined in and it was our second time doing so. As usual, the food was great. I ordered the Bacon Cheese Melt Burger and it didn't disappoint. It was fresh, very hot, and messy. Lots of napkins with this burger. My friend and I shared the Garlic Parmesan fries and they were really good. Again, fresh, hot, and a large serving. We loved them. My friend ordered a Snickerdoodle milkshake and said it was thick in texture and great tasting. So, why the 4 star rating? After ordering, I asked if they had a restroom so I could wash my hands. There is no signage that they have a restroom. An employee opened up a door and said it's at the end of the hallway. After a short walk and a couple of turns, there were the two restrooms. His and Hers. The Men's restroom was 100% completely disgusting. No bs, it was very filthy. The place obviously hadn't been cleaned in a long time. I just washed my hands and the sink was very dirty. And, the two soap dispensers were empty. The floors obviously hadn't seen a mop in ages. And, the restroom stunk bad. The staff was friendly enough that evening, but no greeting coming in or going out. I asked how to join the rewards program and the cashier didn't know. When not busy they just stood around and talked amongst themselves. Hopefully learning how to sign up customers for the rewards program. Geez. I can see why no one was dining in. Burger was juicy, and the meat was seasoned quite well and cooked perfectly. It was a pretty good size. The bun was toasted and pillowy. Everything worked great, including the crispiness of the bacon and the sauces. Very good! I was visiting from Vegas and saw they opened at 10, so I walked from my Airbnb so I could grab some when they opened for me and my husband.
